@@JuanPulid0 it finally came in. But the shop that is supposed to install it recently let go most of their mechanics. They only got one mechanic left and a few cars ahead of me to work on. Hopefully they can start on my car in a few weeks.
So was that with the stock box whipple tune, or did Brenspeed do the tuning? Presumeably with headers that's a custom tune, right? how much less would the box tune be? Diggin' that 500 ft. Lbs just off idle! If I rev limited at say 6500, could the Low Torque be pushed further with a pulley? I'm more a Big Block low end torque guy, like to wind out first and 2nd gear. Can a over driven blower get 600 ft. Lbs at 2000 RPM on a 5.0? That's about what a built NA 460 makes at 4000
First sentence in the video description (whipple out of the box tune) "This 15 GT is on 93 octane, manual, and running the Whipple stage 2 kit with Whipple calibration" . On these high compression engines you have to be careful with boost and 93. Its not so much the engine that is the problem, it is the compression and the octane. If you want more boost just go E85 and a fuel system.
Whipple tells you that, but you can run them as long as you dont make a ton of power and run out of fuel. Roush is the same way. Stock manifolds only but the cal works fine with long tubes. Done it many many times.
Because for what comes in the kit the Whipple cal is pretty advanced. It has the ability to add and remove timing and clearly make good power. Back in the day the standard kits did not run much timing or make very good power. Today, the Whipple kit using what is included makes good power and runs plenty of timing in my opinion. They have pretty high rev limiters, speed limiters, etc... for a production kit.
Will the transmission safely handle this kinda toque? Looking into getting a 5.0 and going big power just not sure the route. Want some fast but still daily!
We suggest them for protection. You do not "need" them to make that power but if you beat on the car it is always a good idea to do that from a protection stand point.
The kit comes with a standard heat exchanger. Then you have two upgrade options. You can get an oversized which I like, or you can get one with fans. I like the oversized for most cars as the fans only really do anything in traffic. If you are a city driver then fans would be good. If you drive on open roads the larger oversize is the way to go. THANKS
What kind of numbers am I looking at on a gen 2 coyote with gen5 whipple 3.5 pulley e85 on an A6 transmission? Will it brake 800rwhp ? I know paxtons are doing it pretty easily..
My 15 manual did over 800 rwhp with a gen 3 and 3.5 using MS109 running a light drivetrain and light wheels. I don't really suggest doing that a lot on the stock engine. Beware of dyno queens... that engine was getting pretty noisy running that sort of power a lot. So possible? Maybe. Is it suggested, I dont on the stock engine.
Here is a link to about 50 Whipple S550 videos. You will find auto's in those videos that show the dyno. ruclips.net/p/PLyyePPaOSI80aSxA08LgZVKYwNw4MfWAA
Did you have the guardian features turned on within the whipple flare program? My stage 2 whipple 2.9 picked up alot of horsepower and torque when I flipped them off. ruclips.net/video/swo4bcfKy1Q/видео.html
No safety's were turned off. So it is still monitoring knock, fuel, and all the Guardian features are on. Not turned off. Issue with turning them off is they are there for a reason. Sometimes I feel they are being overly protective and you can get away with them off. Just depends on the risk you want to take and what you do with the car. Im not a big fan of risk, unless its my own car.
Wow what a sweet 2015 GT, whipple stage 2 kit, headers, all the cooling mods, and over 700 RWHP. Another
great job well done by Brenspeed.
Thanks!
Just ordered this stage 2 kit for my 2015 manual too. Can’t wait. Have to wait about 15 weeks for it to come in.
How did it go bud?
@@JuanPulid0 still waiting. I should be getting a call anyway now. Was told they started building mine December 20th.
@@itsRedBeard47 must be exciting. Hope you get it soon so you can tell us

@@itsRedBeard47 lool what a luck you have. But at least you got it now. Stage 2? 3? How much are they charging you to install bro
Nice and simple, just how I like it. Wish I could make 700+ wheel with my 14' without grenading it.
I hear that
Wow! That thing is 🔥. Looks totally stock from outside. You wouldn’t have any idea it was putting out that kind of HP.
Exactly looks so stock but going to be so fast. THANKS for the comment!
Beautiful GT
Yes it was making me think of my old 2015.... THANKS for watching
Holy smokes! Great numbers! What’s the base WHP numbers with the standard Whipple kit? Bone stock car?
Check out this link you should find at video's on that type of car ruclips.net/p/PLyyePPaOSI80aSxA08LgZVKYwNw4MfWAA

Boost N Tubes, my kinda ride
You got that right. THANKS
Strong!
Thanks for the comment!
Good numbers for a Whipple calibration. I have a 16 with with Gen 5 Stage 2. I thought you had to do a custom tune for long tube headers??
Whipple tells you that, but you can run them as long as you dont make a ton of power and run out of fuel. Roush is the same way. Stock manifolds only but the cal works fine with long tubes. Done it many many times.
@@BrenspeedEngineering Nice to know! Is there any gains with 3.75 pulley and no tune change? Oh and catted or non-catted?
I add 8 oz of Boostane to every tank of 91 Octanes since that's our best pump gas in AZ.
Any specific reason why you run the whipple cal instead of tuning yourself ? Thanks 👍🏼

Quick question, what is the maximum rwhp the 15 5.0 can handle ? Stock engine and transmission
I have ran over 800 rwhp on my own car but honestly I would not suggest that. 700+ is something a lot of people do with similar torque to this video.
Will the transmission safely handle this kinda toque? Looking into getting a 5.0 and going big power just not sure the route. Want some fast but still daily!
Yes it will hold the power just don’t do abusively fast shifts.
Too push 700hp do you need oil pump gears?
We suggest them for protection. You do not "need" them to make that power but if you beat on the car it is always a good idea to do that from a protection stand point.
Are those bbk long tubes carb legal with cats?
I don't think any headers are carb legal for California. Yes a lot of a headers pass emissions but you do not get a carb sticker with them.

What's your thoughts on running boosting with this setup?
If you mean Boostane I love it. Nice way to add protection and if the engine likes it, timing will be added....

Is it able to be daily driven around 600 on an auto 2014 gt
Yes that could be daily driven. Thanks for watching!
So how much does it equate to at the flywheel?
700 at the rear tires on a manual is roughly 824 flywheel if you are using a 15% drivetrain loss.
@@BrenspeedEngineering ok that's awesome, so with the 6R80 how much drivetrain loss is there?
Needs mo torque
