    I have been thinking of switching to MHD if you’re interested in a used BM3 license. Don’t be fooled, BM3 does NOT offer a trans tune for the B58 platform, like they did for the N55 335i. I made that mistake myself at first. XHP is your only option and it’s worth every penny! You could also check out MG Flasher, it starts at 299. A lot of guys seem to love it.
    Exhaust set ups, I’m personally going with downpipe and dinan mid pipe for exhaust, keeping the stock valved muffler, threw on some BMS black tips, it looks great and isn’t very loud.
    763 are my favorite wheels, don’t go with Aodhan, horrible reviews just like the one you mentioned. Check out ESR RF2, 24 lbs each and aggressive staggered offsets to fit the F30 and still allow a good sized tire.

    • @NWAuto
      @NWAuto  3 года назад

      I'm definitely gonna get XHP. I've heard so many good things about it. What makes you wanna switch to MHD?
      I'd keep my stock muffler if I had the MPE. But the basic exhaust for this car just doesn't sound too good.
      And yeah I'll check out those wheels.

      @@NWAuto I’d like more control over the intercooler/engine coolant temperatures that MHD and MG flasher offers. Living in Florida, we’re always battling heat. Any ambient temperature above 80 the car doesn’t seem fond of unless it’s got ethanol in it. Also the E40 MHD map for stage 2+ seems very strong.
      You could do downpipe and MPE muffler which deletes the valve and uses a resistor plug in its place or MPPSK catback with two valves

    After tons of research, id agree bootmode is the one im going to use. Also they offer trans tune thats part of the standard pakage. I personally like the sound of the borla ATAK exaust but they dont offer a catback for xdrive so may need to do some welding in my future. Definitely going for 19" so i can do the f80 m3 rotor and caliper upgrade. Sounds like great info, i enjoy the content thank you my nw friend.

      Yeah I had no issues running Bootmd3 on my last car. The trans tune is nice too, although I will eventually just get XHP. Glad you enjoy it. And I notice you got a dirt bike as your picture. I just bought one and have been getting into riding recently.

    If you want an exhaust that is valves and is significantly quitter when the valve is closed is the AFE Mach force. U can buy the axleback and do a dual resonator delete which is only $120 for the resonator deletes and then the axleback for 1200. A good setup for a great valuable setupz

    As a former owner of an F31 (touring) and current owner of an X5, I can confirm the following. At least that's what I think.
    I first and foremost fitted my F31 with new dampers and springs, of the KW type Street Comfort. I kept the stock wheels. I already had standard tinted windows.
    I would just keep everything as simple as possible. Not too many frills.
    Downpipes : www.millteksport.com/products/bmw/3-series/f30-2011-present/f30-f31lci-m340i-saloon-touring-xdrive-non-xdrive-models.html
    KW : www.ecstuning.com/BMW-F30-340i-B58_3.0L/Suspension/Coilovers/KW/
    Finally, I had read something about motor oil in a previous post, without a doubt and an absolute must because of its quality and reliability is the AMSOIL SIgnature Series 5w30, thermally stable, no consumption, economical driving, extremely good protection against wear, engine runs very well smooth, etc. All year round!
    I use this oil.

      I already got a VRSF downpipe, but I am interested in the KW coilovers. I just hope the car isn't too annoying to daily after I do the suspension.

    remus definitely makes the best sounding exhaust for the 340i, and the midpipe is resonated so it wouldnt be too obnoxious when you pair it with a DP, and they incorporate the OEM valve system so no need for a separate remote or app. problem is theyre delayed indefinitely right now (last I inquired about was in May)

    • @NWAuto
      @NWAuto  3 года назад

      Yeah Remus makes some really nice exhaust systems. Unfortunately manufacturing for basically everything is backed up right now. I imagine Remus isn't the only one that will have huge delays.

    On my F30 335i I have M performance exhaust with resonator delete(midpipe) and catted downpipe (200 cell). Cold starts are loud but overall sound is great. On long drives there is minimal drone. What are your thoughts on MPE with downpipe? You can also keep your valve open when in sport and close in comfort. Unfortunately the valve is only on the one side of the exhaust tip like OEM. Also what spoiler are you going for? I can recommend CS style spoiler from AutoID, looks sweet. Btw looking forward for more videos, love it! Lukas 😄

    • @NWAuto
      @NWAuto  3 года назад +1

      Glad you're enjoying it. I recently installed a small carbon fiber spoiler, so I'll keep that for now. I had MPE with non resonated AWE touring mid pipe on my 335i and that sounded nice. Unfortunately my 340i didn't come with the MPE or else I would have just added the 200 cell DP and that probably would have been fine.
