I just bought a gold 02 civic today and stumbled on these videos which is awesome. I jus got mine for basic transportation (it's automatic) but these videos are giving me great ideas on how to upgrade mine. I paid 500 and it's got 66,000 miles on it! Hell yea keep the vids comin, I appreciate it

Is that color Naples gold metallic? I'm having trouble finding paint codes
You should be able to find the paint code by looking at your Vin card in your driver side door area. It is the longest set of numbers and letters at the bottom of the card below the barcode.
Can't wait for more on the civic! My 04 civic has a different colored cluster and less coffee lol keep it up

So I recently did this and now my gas gauge isn’t moving it’s stuck on empty even tho it clearly has gas and it’s moving what can I do ?? Before I tried this it was working perfectly
That’s really odd… I suppose the circuit board behind the gauges could’ve gotten messed up, or maybe the plug at the back of the gauge cluster isn’t plugged all the way in or has a bent pin or something like that?
@@gridengine so I did yesterday in the night and I was messing around with the gauges( not specifically but around the area) I was trying to remove a piece of plastic that showed the mileage since it was covering it so I had to lift up the gauges a little bit, and I’m not by my car at the moment but I don’t think there’s any bents on it but once I get the chance ima definitely check the plugs again I clipped them on but maybe I should have pushed them in a little bit more, I’m planning on replacing the cluster in a month or so but not knowing how much gas my car has is a big concern for me
@miltonrosa9131 yeah that’s not good. If all else fails, new gauge clusters, for these cars aren’t real expensive on eBay. The miles might be incorrect, but the gas gauge will work! You could also check and see if there is a fuse for the fuel level circuit.
@@gridengine most likely a new cluster would do lol I’ve been wanting to get recommendations from yall though because I don’t wanna get a new cluster that’s all plain I want to get one that kinda stands out I seen on your Chanel that y’all’s Honda has a white gauges but I’m wondering if there’s other types of clusters I can add on my Honda or are those really the only ones I can use ? I know the size and ports are what to look out for but do yall know of any other ones that are out there and would recommend ??
@miltonrosa9131 the clusters that came in the coupes looks pretty cool! The white gauges we have should be available in all of the 4 doors.
I have a question or a few actually. My turn signals no onger light up, my milage doesn't light up either, and also why do your LEDs seem to be brighter than mine. Thanks for any info, gret video too.
Not sure if ours are brighter than yours, but we can tell you that we had to swap out at least 5 of our led’s because they just didn’t work (both turn signals brights, and a few gauges). Swap the ones that don’t work out with new ones and see if that fixes it 💪💪

can you use the same lights on an automatic transmission 7th gen civic? i notice it says it’s meant for manual transmissions so i’m wondering if it’ll still work with my auto
The led’s behind the gauges and such should be the same, however I cannot speak to the leds behind the DRNP321. Maybe search around on eBay for an automatic kit? The process to remove the gauges and install the lights is the same though.

Any model that uses little bulbs to backlight the gauges!

Bro I did the same thing and then smock came out of my cluster, now my cluster light is not working. Does anyone know what causes it and how to fix it?
Oh shiiii… it must’ve fried a connection in the circuit board of the cluster. You might need a new one 😬 luckily they are cheap
@@gridengine I think it’s because of the led lights? I guess I put too many on. I loaded them up.
LED’s are supposed to use less energy… that’s what’s so weird about this 😕

I’m curious, I installed the same fog lights and headlights you guys have on my 02 and it’s making a kinda chirping noise when the lights are on. Do you guys have the same problem?
No we don’t… what do you have them wired to?
@@gridengine fogs are grounded to the battery and have power tapped off the running lights of the headlights. Headlights were just plug and play. The noise doesn’t alarm me, was just wondering if you guys had experienced the same

Gocha. Yeah we haven’t had any sound issues. But we also just took power to the switch straight from the battery
@@gridengine my kit was a little different, just one terminal for power and one for ground. switch had an oem style plug for it already
I tried this and now only 3 of the lights work. I even tried putting back the old ones and those dont work either. Idk where i messed up but i need a whole new cluster now😔
The contacts might not be properly aligned. Did you turn them too far? Or maybe not enough? Make sure the two metal tabs on either side of the bulbs are touching the metal on the circuit board.

i installed mine and only bottom half lights up. any idea why?
Honestly, we’ve had to replace a few of ours that we didn’t originally notice we’re out in the video. Try replacing the ones that aren’t lighting up with others from the same kit. Also, look carefully as you install them, and make sure they are making full contact with the circuit board they insert into.
@@gridengine i replaced a couple and some work. im going to buy another set different color and just be as gentle as possible
Gocha. Yeah. It’s a cheap product, but luckily our kit came with enough to make all the lights work.

Any issues or bulbs burn out? I'm about to order mine.
Nope! Just some of the connectors are finicky. Make sure to turn the cluster lights on before you bolt everything back together in case some are bad. The kit comes with WAY more than you need.
