It's annoying that there are a lot of people on game chat that tell everyone to kill Med Runners on sight. Bragging about how many Med Runners they took out. Buncha angsty late teens and twenty somethings. You guys keep rockin on. I barely get to play because of bored players who go around attacking anyone they see. So I really appreciate your efforts to help people.
Just to share some actual data: Our Databank tells us that only 6% of our callouts are actual PVP Situations. Last month we had over 1000. 1/3 of these 6% a Medrunner Team gets taken out. That means only 2% of our missions end in failure due to overwhelming force. They don't have anything to brag about.
@@MedrunnerSC I just found your guys’ channel from your most recent video I’m gonna be binging probably lol. Such a cool idea, I hope you guys get some regular rescues going on here!
Learned A LOT about the Redeemer from this video. I remember messing around with it during iAE and not really liking it because I didn't understand it, but this video further explains how it SHOULD be used and some of its ins and outs. Definitely a highlight and better perspective on how it can be utilized.
I too first flew one from an IAE event and mirrored your feelings. But I used to be industrious and built up my funds until I started buying ships in game I didn’t think I needed but wanted to try - this ship is now my daily fly. It’s like a Harley to me, I love it but there’s some things I hate that make it seem personal some days 😂
This totally makes me want to get this ship and taunt the fridge. That said, I did see some other comment mentioning they learned the turrets via this video. I gotta say I learned some new stuff too! Well put together vid, overall good watch!
There’s more to the ship from a pilot point of view, but not needed to say for the purposes of crewing. Some days my redeemer purrs. Others she spits and bites. 😂
My favourite solo daily driver which I liked so much I ended up buying IRL. I've been using it for about 2 months and have never had an issue with the fridge. I hear items rattling about but never caused me an issue. In fact, I like to use it to stock up on food and drinks or invite people over to "raid the fridge". BTW, excellent point about using the rear turret to guard the ship entrance. Thanks!
Man I watched this video to learn a bit more about the ship. Left knowing how to actually use ship weapons better than actual combat guides. Definitely saving this video now lmao

Fridge saved me during the IAE. Transactions on the server were bugged so I couldn’t buy water and I was almost dying of thirst. I jumped from Hurston to New Babbage, sprinted through the city to the trams, sprinted to the aegis showroom floor through I dehydrated haze and pulled a drink out of the fridge. More ships should have auto stocked fridges.
The redeemer is the true combat medevac ship of star citizen. We need that variant asap. I thought it was going to get that module but it looks like they are just going to keep it habitation.
That's a awesome Video and thast's showing also the serious of the Medrunner Community. I really started to laugh by don't opening the fridge like every Pilot in the Redeemer say that before Takeoff. :D Also the narrator did it great!!! Perfect Voice for it.
Great presentation of this ship! Especially the control of the rear turret is interesting. To use it as cover fire station for returning crew is a great was to use it. If the Pilot enters the turret and the rest of a full eated redeemer leaves the ship for the mission, a 6 person team can do a mission and be covered by the pilot.
It’s not meant literally, and at everyone, but for the purposes of deployments. I have had many problem free uses of the fridge providing you close it afterwards, keeping those snacks in the box is key!
@@jagz03 Yes, keeping the fridge closed is always good etiquette. It would be quite impolite to let all the cold air out. Wouldn't want my Pitambu Fruit Juice to spoil after all! (And if you couldn't tell, my original comment was meant to be rather tongue in cheek. But I do spawn that ship from time to time just to raid the fridge and store it again :) I like to change it up a little now and then rather than living on nothing but Cruz drinks.)
Don't forget about not hitting the "i" key while in the remote turret seat (and possibly the top and bottom turrets) this will shut off engines. Again your pilot may be miffed

I'm guessing there are interviews and training when joining but do you start joining via the Discord? Really appreciate what you guys are doing and looking forward to maybe one day joining you. I just need a good enough pc first.
It’s fine to use, as long as it’s closed afterwards. People forget to do so and the contents fly out causing internal damage if left open. For our purposes, there should be no need for it’s use so it’s easier to ask not to use it, but ofc it’s a great asset on a ship to have a fridge 😅
After playing this game somewhere between 0.3 and 23 frames per second I desperately want a machine that can properly run it 😩 I remember floating in my Constellation Andromeda watching a Cutlass Red and a Pisces on a rescue mission to someone who deployed a beacon, and I was so upset when I couldn't take down the Cutlass Black that came down on us. 5 frame gaming ftl. @@deadly_mir a 9th? gen i7, 64gb ram, and a gtx 1650 in a laptop. I had to apply ice packs while it was attached to an external monitor and sitting on a fan pad.
@@Spumoon 1650 may be the bottleneck in some situations. I'd say 1920x1080 High Texture, everything else low/off. Go into the Nvidia control panel, set cache limit to 10gb and make sure your laptop it always plugged in while playing. Type "edit power plan" into windows search, then go in and make sure everything is set to maximum performance and isn't on power savings. Also, this is all up to you, but turning off core isolation in windows settings can improve performance by a few %, yet that's up to you if you want to turn it off, since it IS a real security feature that actually does help keep outside sources from messing with your CPU and such. Also, ALWAYS make sure volumetric clouds are set to off as even on high end PC's it destroys performance. Edit: I should also add, every new update, make sure to delete your user folder in the Rsi Live and PTU folders. Also, if your having issues with high CPU temps on your laptop (which I do too. Mine hits 90c on a i5-12450H) check and see if your CPU is pinned at 100%. If it is, I'd say 90c Max is not great, but okay for how brutally demanding SC is on hardware, especially laptops. If it's around 50-70%, 80-85c max is okay, 90c+ at less than 70% CPU usage is pretty toasty and may need a repaste or dusted and to be set on a cooling pad/propped up while playing.
