- Fox Mustangs (79-93) leaving Foxtoberfest 2013. This event was held on October 19th 2013 at FMR (Fox Mustang Restoration) in Locust NC, near Charlotte/Concord. Over 150 Fox mustangs were present, ranging from 4 eyed carbed cars to later model aeronose fuel injected 5.0s.
Some of the more rare cars include:
Fox LTD wagon w/ big block engine
82 GT
Saleen
'93 SVT Cobra
SVO
Early 80's cobra
SSP - Авто/Мото
The most beloved car of the 80's, I really love those 1982 GT , such an absolute work of art.
Grand Nationals.
@@Calbenmike I love burnouts & all but I would not be beating a grand national like it was a foxbody
@@marioarreola1483 well now they are worth about the same. The 82s are my favorite. Just looks so good.
@@natejones963 NOT EVEN CLOSE GRAND NATIONAL BRING DOUBLE THE MONEY AS A MUSTANG OR MORE
I agree but imo, 85-86 are the best looking
Its nice to see how well everyone has taken care of all of my old mustang gt's.
That flatbed parked on the side was dangerous
I heard a chevy guy parked it there.
Curt Dawg
Yea, but. Fox body owners deserve to die. Because they have no taste. The world will be a better place without them.
I found a honda guy lmao^^
Notice no Mustang spinouts - keeps drivers honest
@@augnkn93043This guy knows about taste because of all the windows he's lickin
I just want to own one Fox body in my life.. The first car I ever went crazy fast in and been hooked ever since!.
The last burnout was siiiiiiiick!
😂😂😂
Best one 🤣
I read this comment in the beginning of this video and was looking forward to the last one the whole time 😂 damn you lol
Was anticipating the last one and I got handed lol. Good one.
Always loved Fox Bodies.
The 12 people who disliked this video are probably prius drivers.
or chevy drivers
+Snap Clap or pontiac drivers
+Mike Cid Or Dodge drivers
or hoped to see a mustang crash
These cars are so common, who cant find an old foxbody. People be original and get a ford falcon or a torino out there
That 1st notchback killed it
That was a great car show. I really enjoyed it. The silver coupe with the black hood is mine and thanks for all the great comments on the car and i will be back next year. Great video.
3 good burnouts the entire video and the best one was from an f150
lol then go buy you a fox body and do your own damn burnouts. and record it and post it for us to watch, tough guy
@@tylerfabish5578 I have a foxbody at 16 wbu tough guy
I’m so grateful to have a couple of these
I could watch this all day.
Lots of burning clutches and one leggers here. Come on boys.
I was waiting for one of them too auto-load that flat bed trailer!
I love foxbody mustangs. Have grown up with them since the 80's. Brother had them, mom had an 87 gt manual when they first came out and I had an 86 and an 04. BUT these burnouts were less than stellar! I was expecting to see a tire shredding smokeout.
not from these piece of shits lmfao fords suck
NONE HAD ENOUGH POWER FOR GOOD BURNOUT
@@donaldkinder6716what are you talking about? They could light up tires and lay rubber no problem. They were light cars with around 300 ft-lbs of torque and torque is what allows you to burn rubber. And these cars responded very well to mods. Get your ducks in a row before you make stupid comments.
@@newfie-dean5803 lol Fox body GT mustang's did not have 300lbs of TQ those 302 engines just had around 215 HP Go back too mechanic SCHOOL BUTTERCUP I'd had 3 over 30 yrs AGO
@@donaldkinder6716 buddy, you have no clue what you are talking about. You even got horsepower confused with torque. Go to LMR’s website and they break down the hp and torque ratings for every year of the fox body. In 1987 the engine was rated at 225 hp and 300 ft-lbs of torque. I will try to paste the link for you but it might get deleted.
My favorite body style of the Mustang.
That's so cool. What an engine!
302
The ending was grandtastic!
Still here to stay after more then 25 years.
I used to have an 87 LX 5.0/T5 with a B&M shifter with stops. Mostly stock, only had BBK shorites, o/r H and Borla side exhaust. I was such a fun car, sold it because it was too rusty for me to fix.
One day I'll buy another, if I have to buy a 4cyl and do a V8 swap. It's the easiest car to get the tail out that I've ever driven, so small and lightweight that it doesn't need a lot of power to be fun, they're fun even stock.
I love that it looks like somebody's gonna lose it then they kick it right back. These things are go-karts!
Still remember first time I cut it loose. Scared the absolute fuck out of me and almost wrecked it, but that was what being 16 and not knowing better. On a alum headed car. Know better and Can handle it now!
Love that my 92 will do this. Helps to have 4.10s. 😎👍
It has such a classic sound
Second pony on this clip, "black" one, what a beautiful sound.
Where are all the 2nd gear clutch dumps? The dude at .42 sec is probably still having nightmares about that one....
Love the fox mustangs!
I'll have one again soon I miss that sound.
That red f150,,, one helluva 1 wheel burn out. Impressive
OMG so many awesome foxes
These look hella fun to drive
I still feel the 5.0 (ok 4.9) Windsor V8 still sounds the best.
Ian Clancy ...The 351W (Windsor) is a 5.8L, the 302 is the 5.0L and the 4.9L was an inline 6 cylinder...just an fyi
N. Newell the 4.9 was the actual cubic inch of the supposed 5.0 back in those days, and it wasn't an inline 6. Pretty well known fact that it didn't actually make the full 5.0 liters of displacement until the new 2018 model
N. Newell your wrong about the 4.9 cid they called the 4.9 a 5.0 because ya sounded better. 5.0s are 4.9 liters bud
I need to get 4.9 badges for my upcoming steed haha, never seen that
5.0 liter is the GM 305. Ford 302 is 4.9l.
Loved that black '82 GT @ 3:06. Don't see those any more.
Nicer than my pony car , that's for sure
Waited the whole video for someone to hit one of those trailers parked at the side of the road.
Right? What an asshole leaving your shit right there..
Talwar3k foxbody owners are a different breed. We don't hit shit, that's the s550 guys. They give all us mustang owners a bad rep.
Nate b that's cause foxbodies dont make shit for power lol
@@blackoutkr8183 they are 5.0 v8s you idiot
@@blackoutkr8183 Nah it's because most of the owners tend to be at that age where they've gotten the stupidity out of their systems. Foxes are light and torquey and if you get stupid it won't save your ass.
Check out Foxtoberfest show info at www.foxtoberfest.com! We hosted 252 Foxes at Foxtoberfest2014 in Locust, NC.
got a 1991 and they are fun cars once you turbo them!!!!
Audience, I'll be a Fox man for life, no other way around it... I love all mustangs, but will ALWAYS have one Fox in my garage collection... Who else agree?
Nice cars is this held every year n where
That poor black '85 model couldn't get the damn tires to turn over, lol.
nedaCFilms / Mustang-Town it’s actually a 86 😆
Hhahha. He made an ass of himself
lmao... pos.
Joeybabbs .BABBS yea bud a pos that would outrun you now you got
Me lmao
Corey Baker lol yes I know
2:57 - best looking ones. 1982 GT.
SWEET
1:15 😍 love the color choice
Makes me want one.
My dad has a 90 fox that his dad got as a retirement present. I tell my dad if he ever sells it I will never forgive him for it, especially since grandpa passed 4 weeks ago.
Too cool !!
I know some of these are pretty pathetic, but if any of these guys have my kind of extra cash then, well, tires are expensive lol. Give it a little peel and a rev and that's good enough for me.
And the fast omes leaving the show are where?
why wasn't I invited to this party!?
0:44 hope he rebuilt that rearend. that one wheel wonder was a sign.
My kind of gathering 😊
I miss my '89 foxbody
@ 44 I Thought that gt was building boost but it couldn't even kick the tires loose
Does this take place every year?? same area??
Every stang in this video breaks my hart!!!!! Dang dog!!!!!
Laying down a rubber road to freedom!
Chris Hack NiteRyder!!!
Ask the toecutter he knows, who I am! 😂
Where does this take place?
Did anybody notice the car on its side on the left-hand side of the road?
Foxbody Heaven
nice
mustang shows always have the best burn outs and show exits!
Oooo shit the blue one in 0.20 is one of neighbor car .its the cleanest fox in our town .
Im trying to get my page jumping like yours we got em in all shapes and sizes and taking all bets #STANG NATION
Some of these goobers were actually snatching the steering wheel , hoping to get a little fish tail .
That green and silver Stang had some real power .
0:42 Bless his lil heart...he tried.
I swear in almost every year of these videos that damn trailer is in the same spot lol. And no one has slammed into it doing A burnout yet surprising!. And no it just hasn't sat there through the years either lol.
Need more hp... There might have been 3 cars in this video that made close to 500 hp... This is why chevy guys always give us such an ear full of B.S about our 5 slows. Let's go!!!!!
Lol put them against a 2011+ 5.0 with Bolt ons... Ford obiously going to win over 6 Liters ls engines
Turn that damn diesel truck off! That's all i heard 3/4 the video
that one at 1:05 anyone no what year had that hood with the two scoops like that?
That's an aftermarket hood commonly known as the Stormin' Norman hood.
Which one has the chevy in it??..
Ever seen a ford in a chevy😱😂🤣😂
Nice sounds of a fucking desiel truck in the background!
0:39 🤣🤣🤣 lightning them tires up my boy
2:26 that car has an alignment issue with his pulleys. Trust me I dealt and fix many of these problems. Most likely his power steering when he’s at high rpms it squeals
You would think that there was a cop filming. Pathetic showing
Im not at my place here but u do think u coyld get a bettwr 5.0 stang
needs more SVOs
Nice save #1! Go and teach the mustang crowd
First clip, gotta have da smoke hanging, right on
4:20 now that's a Mustang! Nice sound, and nice color. One of the very few burnouts in the whole video which was not massively disappointing....
superdriver777 4:35 The red GT. That one is better!
@@WickedG5150 You're right, that one is pretty badass haha
superdriver777 lol. I want them all.
Brought to you by Flowmaster.
At 3:20 looks like a 82 mustang GT with a 4 speed a rare car.
where is this? can Lsc mark vii come it is a foxbody!!!
Its hard to believe that No one hit that trailer....
Those Coupe’s were just made for taking care of business!
Was that Bobby at 1:00?
That one at 0:46 must have been a 4 cylinder got that one wheel action
This is why so many people hate Mustangs...Weak...and I a proud owner of a Foxbody. These burnouts are bad (not good).
Trance Tallentine considering they sell more than the camaro, challenger, and corvette, I'd say not that many people hate them....and they definitely aren't weak
Trance Tallentine i didnt see one person hook 1st 2nd and 3rd out the gate spinning them tires
i would of hooked 1st 2nd and 3rd sideways out the gate countersteering...dont be scared its only paint and bodywork if you cant keep that thing straight hahaha
They weight basically nothing in the rear... I could imagine it's hard to get enough traction without putting weight in the rear to really smoke the tires.
This must be some other dimension, because none of them crashed on the way out.
Sounds like everyone running Flow Master ....
Como me gusta este carro
This is the first time I've seen a mustang leave a car show without going in the ditch.
You won't see many Foxbody owners in ditches. Most of us can handle our car....
@@joeballs6447 The 5.0L Foxbody Mustang only had a two-barrel carburetor, but even so it was still able to produce 157 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque.
@@joeballs6447 Lol at them trying to do break stands and not leaving rubber on the road. One looked like it blew its head gasket.
Anyone please what wheels are those at 1:00???
Weld Racing Draglites.
This arouses me.
good seeing my fam still out there lol
For drop the ball with them Fox bodies. Had to put much work into it to get him to go. That all changed with the Terminator
I had a brown 1987. Wasn’t a convertible tho.
Truck did best burnout
What did the fox say?
braaaaap braaaaap braaaaap
When you drop the top, put the fukin quarter windows down.
Why is that so hard???
1st one won
PATH TO 400 HORSEPOWER
BY: GT STANGER
1st build your exhaust system. Run no Catalytic converters if you can get away with it in your state, city, or county. I moved from Dallas, Tx to Alberta, Canada where no sniffers are used and air restrictions are not in place. So I run no cats legally up there. Although some back pressure is good, you will get it from the glasspack mufflers which is good enough. free flowing exhaust is what is preferred with my setup and my 2C 4.6L
EXHAUST SYSTEM
Tuned Length Shorty headers BBK-$275
Pypes midpipe (X-Pipe)-$125
2XPypes violator glass pack mufflers-$85.00
AIR INTAKE
BBK 78mm Throttle body and Plenum-$175
SR Cold Air Intake System-$50
PULLEYS
BBK underdrive Pulleys-$125
ALTERNATOR
200 AMP high performance alternator.-$175
Go ahead and replace your stock 90 amp alternator because for most of you 99'-04' cars, the stock one is just about to go anyway. I went larger with mines to supply extra juice for additional power for the under carriage lights I run.
REAR GEAR RATIO
BBK 4.10 Gears-$160
Buy the correct gear depending on you driving style. If your car is a daily driver go with 3.73's as they are strong but wont drag down you gas mileage. If you are your car are weekend warriors and only see 50 miles a week then go with 4.10's. The 4.10s are a steeper gear and will get you off of the line much quicker but will dig into your gas mileage just a little bit.
FUEL DELIVERY SYSTEM
Walhbro 255 LPH fuel pump-$125.00
You will need to step up that old stock 90 LPH (liter per hour) fuel pump if you desire to get to the 375-400 Horsepower level.
24 Pound Fuel Injectors by: VENOM-$225
The 99'-03' stock injectors were just 19 pounders and the 04' GT's came with 21 pound injectors. Both will only allow fule flow up to about 320-330 Horsepower, Go ahead and get yourself some 24 pounders or better.
You are probably asking why you must step up your fuel system? Its because of the Dry nitrous system that you are about to install. Keep reading.
ENGINE, HEADS, & CAMS
Comp CAMS Stage 3 (270's)-$550
Probably the best overall camshaft out of all of the stages. With 270's your going to get nice top end horsepower gain with a nice deep loping sound depending on where you have your idle set to. 25-35 RWHP you will see from these cams. You will need these cams to achieve the 400 HP mark. They are a must have. Heads can remain stock if you have PI heads unlike the 99' GT's.
NITROUS
CFN (COLD FUSION NITROUS) 125 Shot Dry Nitrous Kit-$290
Any descent brand of dry nitrous system will due.
Run the spray nozzle in front of you Mass air flow sensor so the nitrous is released flowing over the MAF up through the intake into the TB& Plenum and into your intake. Easy and simple to install. Make sure that you are running the 125 shot spray nozzle.
TUNERS
SCT BAMA TUNER-$375
Although you can use your BAMA preloaded tunes and always order new ones for life with the guys at bama, I tweak and tune my car myself. The reason why is that the guys at bama cannot tune for a dry nitrous kit. They are able to only tune wet kits unfortunately last time I checked. So you know what all of your parts are on your car so adjust your tuner's options accordingly or pay $350-800 to have your car tuned.
With everything that I have just listed you will reach 403.05 Horsepower @5897 RPM & 406.81 Torque @ 4423 RPM. Upgrading your fuel system is Non-Negotiable and is needed in order to make up for the additional fuel that your nitrous system will trick your MAF into supplying your motor. WARNING- If you DO NOT upgrade your fuel system as instructed you will puddle fuel in your intake and possibly blow the damn intake off of the top or your motor or a minimum you will split and crack your intake. All that I have listed if installed and set up properly will get you over 400 HP. And you motor and car will be safe and never in any danger. With everything that I listed minus the nitrous you will be at a solid 300 horsepower, on your car, so you'd still make out good with achieving old school naturally aspirated muscle car power. I hope that I was able to help out. All of my parts were professionally installed except for the fuel injectors and nitrous system.
Total cost for parts-$2735.00
400 HP Achieved over a 3 year span. I need no more power than that as my car is a weekend car, garage kept, and barely sees 500 miles a year.
2000 Ford Mustang GT
Bright Atlantic Blue
403.05 Horsepower @5897 RPM & 406.81 Torque @ 4423 RPM.
