I love how he kept the stock simple, clean look. And those 10 holes... I'm pretty sure those are the 16" replicas, and that's an awesome way to get bigger, modern tires and keep the classic look. This is one of the best fox body builds I've ever seen.
Great build. That thing is crazy clean. Dashboard and gauges look brand new! Love them old mid 80s Fox bodies. First car I ever drove at 11 years old in ‘92 was an ‘85 hatchback with the 4 cyl. Granted it was only around the block but I still remember that day like yesterday lol.
I love that he has kept it almost completely stock in appearance, I think it is a shame when any car loses it's stock paint color no matter what color it is. Odd colors like this that were once not very desirable are now very desirable for many reasons. I think in the future the most valuable fox bodies will be the rare color combos like this. You can't go wrong with a coyote swap either, just perfect. The only thing i would do if it were my car is install matching tan halo headrests on the seats, maybe a pair of a saleen with the netting, that would finish her off.

Only a shifter and an added RPM gauge. 3. The suspension and brake upgrades had to be done to correct foxbody weak points.
Sadly soon all combustion cars and trucks including classics will be banned from public streets in entire EU and Scandinavia :-( In Germany the Green Peoples Party gave order to shorten fuel supply from 2025 on by reducing all conventional fuel stations to only one state operated central gas station per city or county. Car washs will be forbidden too because they are climate killers, now they want to slow down all the gas station pumps from 20 litre per minute to 2 litre per minute...From 2027 on in the EU certain car spare parts will be banned too....as exhaust systems, turbo chargers and even some engine and gearbox oils...California and New York will do the same from 2027 on.... So no investments should be done in oil burning cars any longer....They even created a new kind of crime here, called emissions and smoke crime. (BABVVEN & TEBBVEN & BEFVO laws)!

The "37" number is only for 5.0L coupes, auto and manual transmissions combined, painted Dark Sage. Since this car was originally a 4-cyl, it is not included in the 37 number.
This car would be an epic candidate for having the original wheels face cut off and having modern sized barrels put on. I would look so good and give the outside a bit more of a match to the motor swap.

Wow, this is crazy....my grandparents bought that exact car is 1985 in CT (SORRY, I CAN'T REMEMBER THE DEALERSHIP) but it got totaled shortly after cause he got T-boned pulling into Denny's on the Salas Dean Highway in Rocky Hill (failing eyesight), luckily my Grandmother had her seatbelt on! Had no idea the such low production numbers.

A chick we knew had a beige 4 eye 4cyl in the mid 90's, only 1 guy in our group said it would be a good swap car, we all laughed because 5.0L coupes were everywhere back then. Nice car and nice swap!
Nice ride, good stance. Dropping a car too much ruins it for blasting down roads. 465 doesn't sound like a lot of HP today, but that Notchback is probably only 2600-2700 lbs. I loved my 1988 GT with a T-Top. Dove grey on red and owned by the service manager for Lincoln so it had a ton of FMS and upgrades from the Lincoln and Thunderbird line up (like the audio system).

I have Limited Edition 1983 Mustang GLX but can't find out how many were produced. 30% of me wishes I never modified it but the other 70% of me wouldn't be able to drive around in a 114hp Mustang lol I've had the car since I was 17 I'm 28 now and probably will never sell the car.
that's beautiful car, this guy did a very professional job of the upgrades. I drive a 2013 f150 with the Coyote 5.0. 468000 km, burns no oil and rolls down the road as strong as ever
I love this thing. I have an 86 Sand Beige, same stripper setup, tan interior. Went 5.0/5 speed from an 88 GT parts car so all guts from that. I saved that car from a junkyard. Very well done effort here.
Love the 3 eyes and the sand beige are pretty rare cars too. I have a friend building one at the moment. Looking forward to watching your videos on that build!
Only strange thing I wonder about is the 4 lug front hubs and the swapped in Super Bird 8.8 rear end has 5 lug axles. Does he carry 2 spares? Makes no sense to me.
He installed aftermarket 4 lug axles and relocation brackets for the calipers. It’s 4 lug all around. I completely missed that during the video. Thanks for watching!

Amazing how having the 2 chamber flowmasters mounted under the car instead of at the rear bumper makes a difference. Sounds like the old pushrod 5.0.

I had a 71 Vette with 4 wheel disc with NO power assist. You had to be able to leg press 300 pounds with each leg to get her to stop. 😂

You could put a vintage air in it and only have to drill a small hole for the bulkhead for the hoses.

1987-88 8.8" Thunderbird Turbo Coupe rear was 4-lug. Super Coupe was 5-lug, IRS.
