NICE BUILD!!. NOT A FAN OF THE NOTCH BACK THOUGH. I HAD A 86 GT FOR ABOUT 25 YEARS OR SO AND SOLD IT WITH OVER 326,000 ON IT STILL RUNNING LIKE A RAPED APE. DANG, DID HE JUST TAKE OFF IN FIRST AT AROUND 2,000 RPM. GOOD THING I DON'T HAVE TO PAY FOR THAT CLUTCH ASSEMBLY. CLUTCH WAS ALWAYS ENGAGED IN MY CAR BEFORE I HIT THE THROTTLE. YEAH, AND I STALLED IT MORE THAN ONCE!. IT DUG EVERY TIME, LOVED IT. RATHER THAN AN E LONGED DRUG OUT RPM INVOLVED ENGAGEMENT.
Such a great video. I remember seeing this car for the first time on GearHead704's channel. Tom even commented me back with much appreciation when I complimented War Admiral and the story. Such a nice guy and an awesome car. I'm glad he's getting the love he and the car deserve. The back story is wonderful. I'm glad War Admiral Tom and his daughter enjoy this car together.
This guy did it right and he’s right on so many levels as far as old tech and new tech blending for all the right reasons. I’m a family man and have kids so he’s right as far as hitting a button to tone it down for a family cruise vs hit the go-fast button to eat some rice
I understand his struggle. I was close to my grandparents(raised me). They died before I felt like I became a man... they didn't get to see my house and my kids etc. so I understand they were my rock. Touching story but yeah I get it 100%. Bad ass car either way he's done amazing job.
Wow, sad but really great story, I felt his pain because I’ve lost a few very close family members and friends, and that’s a feeling that’ll never go away but we learn to live with. Anyways, bad ass foxbody, love the set up, the whole car is well executed, so many cool details from the exhaust set up, to the engine set up, to the interior, down to the wheel, tire, suspension, and brake set up. This car is nuts and super clean!!! I’m sorry for your loss Tom, hope you stay strong minded and things go well for you, and thank you for showing us your bad ass foxbody !!! You did a bad ass job, I’m sure your dads jaw would have dropped looking at this car.
Cancer sucks.. my father was hanging Christmas lights, seemingly healthy as a horse. He came down off the ladder, lost his balance, and fell. They did an MRI the next day, and he had a glioblastoma (brain tumor). He was gone in 6 months.

Very very clean build this fox body mustang has a nice color a bunch of custom details 🔥and with a turbo set up with a good amount of power oh yeah 👍even that it doesn’t have the body kit very nice even though they look bad ass with the saleen body kits make look crazy 👍

Jesus Christ! God bless you Tom. This is a dream built for me, the car looks diabolical and so clean, it's a scary sleeper ready to slay down JDM Turbo cars on the highway. The custom interior job is jaw dropping, I've almost screamed like an angry 6yo girls when the door opened. To sum it up, you just put the interior of a Modern Italian Supercar, combined with a crazy demonic top end turbo 6.0L V8, and stashed it over a bullet proof racing grade suspension setup. As well as the incredible paint job and the wheels/brake setup. Well I guess it's a simple built for anyone that has a 100K $ to blow, but you've really manage to build your dream car, and at the same time, you've honored your father in a very inspiring way. That exhaust setup is litterally Porno for car guys! Thanks Tom! WOW!!!

What Block Maybe i missed it if i did Sorry. I Have a 91 Fox Body LX Hatch that has subframe All Tight Battle Box And then some. the torque boxes are solid.it has 50/50 90/10 on southside lift bars. with a stock tank that I rear sumped. i have an AERAMOTIVE A1000 FP someone else switched out the FI so I have a Blow threw Demon carb and a VORTECH V1 S-TRIM with 10 rib pulley just rebuilt sitting on the shelf. I have the VORTECH Race Pipe With mondo blow off. I need to upgrade the axles and center section. it has a TREMEC 5 Speed I cant remember the model but not the T5 TREMEC. ill update and get the model it is needs to be gone threw. I want to build an engine and im trying to figure what to do or what to build i want to street the car. but I know the limitations of a ford block even with Forged Crank rod upgrade piston blah blah. I don't want to stay Carb. For obvious reasons im GOING TO GET A BUNCH OF HATE IM SURE. But I don't know if it would make more sense to LS Swap or what Sell the VORTECH ? go Turbo? I like the idea of the ability to tune the car down and drive. I Will never go Automatic. Been 9.20 with the 5 speed so ok there. DID i mention im not Rich. lol Any input id love to hear. other then Punctuation lol. i need to copy paste this into Word and correct it I will but in a rush at the moment. Will come back and correct it

Great story on how the car was obtained and emotional for sure I lost my mom back in 2018 and got my mustang with some of the money she left me I plan on staying oem as possible and maybe turbo it ? We will see ? and not a bad way to spend 50k on a car dart blocks can be 30k easily or more so I’m sure u spent 70-80k to get this build completed on total with all you have done and I wrong ? Just wondering man
This is almost like how i was wanting to build my car. I wanted to do a turbo 363 turbo and 3.55 gears. Plus i was looking at QA1 since i have them for my F100.
This is the same mentality I have when building my car. Modern meets classic. I love everything about this car. It's so well thought out. Everything single part has been thought about.
personally I think those panels look way better than a full smoothed out engine bay. More racecar looking and less show car street rod. This car is very impressive.

Those Fox bodies brought back muscle cars. They were legit 13 second 1/4 mile cars in the 80's after the 70's smog mobiles. I thought they were ugly at the time but the body style has grown on me over the years.

This might be the nicest Fox body I've ever seen, dear gawd, what a beautiful car! I owned and loved an 89 Black notch 5.0-5speed car, for about 11 years. I hope to one day find another 89 notch to restore and love all over again. The 87-93 Fox bodies will always have a special place in my memory, they were my 57 Chevy growing up.

This is definitely the cleanest car ive seen in my life. Great job with all if your choices. This car reminds me of my mustang that i crashed into a pole and almost died and an in a wheelchair from. If i could still drive this car i would have one exactly like this! Thank you for sharing
I don't know what you're filming with but being hearing impaired i really appreciate video & sound quality, actually being able to turn it down a little bit is so nice. I love the interior on this car, that screen fits perfectly, it super clean overall.
I am old school FOX man myself. I actually had the opportunity to be the main Ford technician during 1988,89,90,91 Era ... I was the only technician to PDI when they arrived at the dealership. I know FOX body very very very well. I love this car and what he has done. Five star on his unique design. Great Job!!!

On3 and SVE are fine. Don't feel like you need to have Gucci everything to appease the mob.

My 90 foxbody gt had a healthy centerforce clutch and I absolutely loved it not quite as mint as this mustang. Very nice ride man 👌❤️💯

I don't know what you're filming with but being hearing impaired i really appreciate video & sound quality, actually being able to turn it down a little bit is so nice. I love the interior on this car, that screen fits perfectly, it super clean overall.
