    Right before you set the line on the first fish there’s a red in the water that swims under your boat that you caught on camera.

    Momma said there’d be days like this. Great effort.

    Mark should open up some days in the spring when the water temps are optimal to kayak guiding. I’d be one of your first customers. I want to go and catch some reds!

    Same thing with freshwater. Nothing first couple hours then around 3 or 4pm, bass were hitting like crazy in this little pond I found in SW Houston.

    Great video, Mark, it was like a preview of what's about to happen in the very near future, I can't wait! Take care and be safe!

    Great job of sticking with it! Back in the tournament days, I learned that just because they are there doesn’t mean they’ll eat. Sometimes all it takes is a wind or tide change to fire them up.

    I can't believe that the water is still not back in the marsh, which I don't understand why after all this historic rain we've been having. Come chase the white striped bass with me next month at Lake Livingston bro.

      Me and the reds are both just sitting there waiting for the water to rise so we can get into the marsh 😂

    Another great video mark. I had a question know you went back to 500 size spinning reels us it just for weight balance on old 18 rods or is it retrieve speed of having smaller spool and cast distance better with lighter braid and smaller spool ?

    • @MDLRFishing
      @MDLRFishing  3 месяца назад +1

      Uses less braid, very lightweight, can cast small lures a mile with light braid.

    Down at Palacios area the last couple days with the high wind that camera nd depth finder would make the kayak a two masted schooner. 😂
