The budget is the responsibility of the Congress (check the Constitution). President Reagan massively increased our REVENUES, but the Congress OUT-PACED him with increases in SPENDING.

It truly is. I'm writing a mini-dissertation on his economic policy right now. It makes me frustrated and comforted at the same time. Im frustrated because there is a clear cut plan tailor made for the situation we're in now. Im comforted because I know as long as somebody in the future will implement it, it will work. Combined with our reserve of oil, we should do o.k. You don't here that kind of optimism very often nowadays, do you.

Nearly a month later, John Hinckley shot the Gipper but he survived the assasination. And the rest is history...

LOL - Can you imagine our current community organizer in chief even having half the brains to conduct a discussion to the American people like this? How far we have fallen into the valley of the stupid and ignorant while high above, the dam that holds back the water is crumbling.

I like how the graph of revenue vs expenses doesn't have any values on the x or y axis, just a big ole money sign. Make believe numbers for a make believe president. The budget was never balanced but the rich sure did make out.

Textbook genius from the Master himself. This should be mandatory viewing for every college student kissing the a$% of the Anointed One. Reagan would NEVER have monetized our economy to render false hope to the working man.

I find it hilarious so many people are calling this ACTOR (literally, he was a movie star before he became the president, and yet you all believe everything this ACTOR says? That's funny, cause that's like listening to Charles Manson about ethics). So before you get on my case, think about this, he was trained to lie and make people believe him, why else do you think he's the most popular president of all and you all fallow him to the ends of the earth thinking of him as that of the Republican Messiah even tho he screwed this economy over and is the reason homelessness is becoming such a huge problem, as well as make people fear programs that actually help just so him and his rich buddies can make more money with his tax cuts. He created the income inequality, and yet you all eat this up, where as before he was in office, did you know that the Middle class was the ruling majority and homelessness was none existent? He traded weapons to known terrorists, WASN'T the reason for the fall of the Berlin wall like so many believe, but took credit for it (seriously, the cold war was already on the down-slope and they were already planning on tearing down the Berlin wall, he just used that as a reason to get people to side with him and steal credit for something he had no real hand in). Also if he wasn't president, people would be able to not only work a full 40 hours a week, but only one person would need to in order to support a family of four, buy a house, buy a new car every couple of years, and put all your kids through college without fear of weather or not you're going to eat. So yes, go ahead and praise this ACTOR for doing what he's best at and lying to you as he helped his rich buddies leech off the middle and lower class.
