3 Cups of mixed nuts
Instructions for making homemade hazelnut butter:
-First, pour your mixed nuts into the food processor or blender, either will work just fine.
- Pulse until the mixed nuts begin to breakdown.
- Make sure you use both blend and grind functions. Your food processor or blender may have different terms for these, but you need to make sure you use one setting where the blades turn clockwise and another setting where the blades turn counter clock-wise. Alternate between both setting for optimal results.
- Use a spatula to scrap the sides to again push the nuts towards the bottom. Also continuously tap the side walls so that the nuts fall back down to the bottom.
- At this point, the mixed nuts will begin to have a creamy texture. You can then transfer the hazelnut butter to a jar and voila, mixed nut butter.

Can someone tell me how the best clean the jar afterwards,because we know oil al(from the nuts) and water don't mix. Wouldn't want to pour that down the drain and clog it up.
My only thought is to buy a big jar that's easy to clean, wipe the jar with a paper towel so I want wash any oil residue in the drain
