Honestly, the main standout of the show for me is Kevin Kiner's score. He doesn't try to copy from John Willams' score or any other iconic theme from the past, he keeps creating his own thing while throwing some iconic themes briefly in there, and it just makes the show feel sooo cinematic. I'm honestly surprised by how little he's done outside of Star Wars cuz he's great.

We finally get such a big picture moment on why she has been so stoic and expressionless during her appearances. She tried to take on Sabine as a padawan before she could truly reconcile with herself. Attachment destroyed Anakin and destroyed her relationship with Sabine. That ending to this episode....the sense of wonder, of adventure, of endless capabilities....of pure, storytelling magic that makes you believe in a galaxy far, far away. That's Star Wars, and it is alive and well. Notice also, after Anakin teaches her the lesson she needs, to be able to move forward, Ashoka is draped in all white. A transformation has happened, and she even felt like Ashoka, the old Ashoka we know and love. And my God, what a performance by Hayden...Clearly he has major acting chops, and gave one hell of a performance. Makes you wonder how much of his prequel performance was due to writing and directing. All in all, jesus christ this was pure Star Wars magic. Can't wait to see where this takes us. Those scenes with Anakin were absolutely PERFECT! When he ignited that red lightsaber I literally said “oh shit.” Some of those lightsaber hits just reminded you have how powerful he was. Those flashes between him and Vader gave me chills. With that armor he looked EXACTLY like Clone Wars Anakin. Hayden was on a whole other level of epicness and I loved every single second of it.
Something else that I want to make sure is highlighted is the music. It was perfect and fit those scenes very, very well.
I love how Ashoka seemed more hopeful when she woke up. Like she FELT like the Ashoka that we have always known. That scene with the Purrgil was glorious. The ending of this episode felt like the end of Empire Strikes Back. “Don’t worry, we’ll find them.”

Anakin’s lesson is about darkness and light. Ahsoka came to the realisation that in a lot of ways he was mentoring her to become a potential Sith by focusing so much on the ways of war, and her own fear that she will mirror the path he took.
However as with all things there’s always a choice and knowing what it is you want to become, Ashoka had forgotten how to live due to the weight/burden she carried that she would be corrupted as a mentor too. It was that very weight that was becoming a self fulfilling prophecy.

God seeing a shot of Ezra training his own Padawan with maybe Kanan's force ghost watching would be peak.

Ezra will most likely be the one to train him considering hera sees him as family

The world between worlds is an encompassing of the force, so even though it’s in Ahsoka’s head, she is still actually there too. That means Anakin is also there and not just a figment or something. Crazy stuff

It’s a small thing but I really wanted Ahsoka to reference the fact that Anakin murdered obi-wan. Like they are going back through the clone wars where they spent so much time with him and Anakin killed him.

I'm so glad I was patient. This is exactly the way I'd thought this show would go. I'm glad we got to see Ahsoka grow
Also cemented Rosario as Ahsoka. This episode proves why she's perfect for this role.

    "I won't fight you."
"I've heard that before". Great callback to Return of the Jedi

I can tell they studied Ashoka and Anakins Clone wars personalities heavy because they replicated it so perfectly in these flashbacks it is beautiful to watch

I teared up watching the flashbacks. It is so nice to see Ahsoka and Anakin working live-action and REX

It has been absolutely wonderful seeing Hayden get his flowers at last. You guys are 100%. He was never the problem in the prequels. It was always the script and George's direction that led to the awkward line reads. The way he is able to show complex emotions so clearly with just a look has always shown immense acting talent, even back in the prequels.

Modern Disney StarWars is a joke, a piece of steamy Filoni shit. You're the problem this whole IP is where it is today. Fuck you.

16:04 Anakin's initial reaction to Ahsoka's act of mercy and words of hope. This episode was fantastic, I really have no words to describe the feelings it evoked.

The curiosity and confusion of Ahsoka's last training with Anakin definitely felt like Mortis lore.

I've already seen a lot of people talk about the flashbacks being "pointless," or them saying they don't understand what's being conveyed, and I'm just like... What's not to get?
Ahsoka has always questioned what her role in not just the galaxy, but the force at large was. Ever since leaving the order, and ESPECIALLY after finding out who Vader was, she's been forced to wonder if any of her values come from the right place. This episode was Anakin forcing her to confront her past, move on from it, and embrace whatever may come in the future.
It wasn't just a nostalgia trip for Clone Wars fans, and people boiling it down to that are being incredibly disingenuous. This whole show for me has pretty much been a 10/10, yet this episode exceeded my expectations in every possible way. I cried, I laughed, I giggled like a 4 year old. I felt the magic of Star Wars for the first time in too long.
