Replacing SUN DAMAGED WRAP on my Jeep WJ | Installing Vinyl Frog

We attempted to replace the sun damaged wrap on my WJ. The top was wrapped in black and since it was stored outside I believe the black wrap go sun damaged quickly! We removed it which was a pain. Then I tried to replace the wrap and found out its a lot harder to wrap a car than I Thought haha. We managed to get wrap on but it will definitely need to be redone!

I wrapped mine because of you! Funny enough, my Jeep was blue-ish and I changed it to more of a silver so you and I flip flopped lol. The hard part for me was having spots with tiny pieces of dirt underneath which ended up in some small bubbles

Wraps are hard to make perfect man! Totally off topic but my wj is currently on a 4inch RC long arm (I know... everyone loves RC lol) with bilsteins and I just bought 6.5in lift springs I have a 4.0l with a 242re so do I need a SYE and new rear drive shaft before installing the springs? Or should I just throw the springs in there and hope for the best?

It was 😂 I think you should be able to install them but you will get vibration and risk the driveshaft falling out when flexing

@@NajarOffroad That makes sense. I have a transfer case drop kit in a box never installed. If I install that it would help the driveshaft angle until I can fork out the $500-$800 for a SYE and new shaft.

You can keep your tcase, you will want a double cardan driveshaft

@@shanew.8784 like I said I have a 242re it has a slip yoke. I'd need a SYE and a nee shaft. My question is more in regards to if I can run my 6.5in springs with a stock shaft without the SYE and whether the t-case drop would be beneficial for my pinion angle.
