  • The Islamic revolution of 1979 changed everything. For Muslims across America, it reignited their faith. African American Muslims were particularly impacted and inspired due to centuries of oppression and subjugation. Meanwhile, small pockets of American-born Lebanese Americans reacted negatively to the implementation of more conservati ve religious rules in their Dearborn community.

Imam Khominie is a blessing to the world. The shia in the Philippines was started from the spread of the news about the Revolution of Iran under the leadership of Imam Khominie (ra).

This video is so informative. I didn’t know that Islam almost “died” out before the Revolution! No wonder Allah(swt) blessed Khomeini so much and his burial place is proof of that. His burial place is like a small city. He helped revive true Islam in the hearts of the believers!

“The momentum took place after the Islamic revolution in Iran”
This is very true, regardless of everything else...

Forcing secularism and corporate interests against the religious and family values of a country has limits in effectiveness.
The accomplishment of people with religious motivations can not only help people give themselves permission to practice more of religion, but show people that they can finally take the freedom that is already there.
Sectarianism can be used as a tool by those outside the faith and we can have differences without dividing.

As Salaam Alaakum. As Blackpeople who grew up in North America. Don't make sense to follow anyone , from another country. Allah gives leaders or Amirs from yourself speaking your language and your own culture, which was hijacked from Blackpeople. Accept your own, develop your own culture and community.

The world is a global village now , the people are interconnected & they are effected by the events of the world taking place around them . There fore One can not say that he is independent to decide his own fate .
Look what is happening in Ukraine and Palestine .
