Listen to his review … I’ve had 3 units for over a year now and it does all this and more. The real reason I have 3 units is I just don’t like switching from bench to wall to standing positions so I have a three station system.

Does this provide any eccentric loading?
It seems like it's some form of torsion or gearing that resists the concentric phase, but it seems there's little to no resistance on the eccentric phase.

MAXPRO provides a concentric biased resistance (CBR). This profile is different from the traditional workout methods available today. Basically, our users will workout the muscle primarily on contraction only. Not getting sore is the amazing benefit of concentric-only training!

@@MAXPRODetroit Its a hard pass since eliminating the eccentric is cutting the benefit of weight training in half. What a shame!

      Double the reps?

    • @MAXPRODetroit
      @MAXPRODetroit  Месяц назад

      Hello @@ToddDolce.
I understand your concern but respectfully speaking, thousands of customers and many scientific studies would say otherwise. In fact, a recent independent UCLA study published this year in the peer-reviewed Scientific Journal of Sports and Performance proved that MAXPRO is equal to weights for size and strength gains. However, it does so in a much safer way, particularly on the joints, which can be especially helpful for less experienced lifters. You can access information on a recent scientific study by clicking on the following link: sjsp.aearedo.es/index.php/sjsp/article/view/concentric-resistance-machine-muscular-strength-untrained.
I hope this information helps and please let me know if you need anything else. I’m happy to help!

You don’t lose tension when coming down??? For example if you doing biceps, you still feel the tension while bringing your arm down.

Great question! With the MAXPRO's concentric-only training, you won't feel tension on the way down. This design focuses on the lifting phase, making it easier on your muscles and joints while helping you build strength effectively. It's perfect if you want to work out smarter and reduce the risk of injury, all while getting a solid workout! If you need more information, you can contact customerservice@maxprofitness.com, and our team is happy to help anytime.

If you don’t mount it or have a bench do you think it’s worth it?

      Hello there,
Yes! We have many trainers and coaches that train athletes for sport-specific training and functional training. With 10 feet of cable, you can do power and explosive movements, forward and side to side, as well as jump training, and large strike core movements.

Does this do concentric and eccentric modes of workouts?

    • @chrishughes5718

The only reason I ask is that when I was chatting via text with sales/support, they told me it was both, but the description/details do not say that it does both.

Apologies guys for not getting it straight forward: what is the difference between concentric mode and concentric biased. is the eccentric phase active or not or up to a certain level. On the other hand. if the max resistance is 300 lbs and it has 25 positions is the resistance curve linear (if that is the case why not simply writing the lbs instead of the 25 positions)? how many lbs correspond to position one? apologies for these tedious questions, i ask them cause i am vary much interested in the product not to waste your time. Thanks and best. ps. if semantics aside it’s concentric only in full honesty i will not be interested.

Better than and will last longer than a smart gym. I will wait for the competition to come out with a cheaper one.
