Yes, before Tool Adam Jones was a special effect makeup artist in movies, like the dinosaurs in Jurassic Park, working with Spielberg. He did Ghostbusters 2, Nightmare on Elm Street 4 and 5, Terminator 2 and others. So he does the videos. But I like, no videos, so as to concentrate on the great music, with my eyes shut.

Lol, now I want to know what you actually said. I think part of the reason they never really did any performance music videos was because back in the early days they kept a low profile. Most people didn't know what they even looked like unless they saw them at a concert. Parabola is probably my favorite music video and Vicarious is second. Don't really care for any of the others
they did some demo live stuff, it was just like any punk band with weird hair and clothes, the guitarist looked like he had no idea what was going on, i think a temp, passable playing.
Seems you've reached the bottom of the Tool rabbit hole, have you considered checking out the band SWANS? Cited as a major influence by Maynard, it's very strange stuff and difficult to even describe the appeal of without sounding insane... anyway, try the song Kirsten Supine' or 'Helpless Child" for a good demonstration of their sonic sorcery, if you'd rather experience complete confusion try "Feel Happiness" from the album Swans Are Dead
