One of my favorite horror movies this year. David Dastmachian finally got a lead role and he did not disappoint. One of the best found footage horror movies I've seen in a long time.
I love how you can tell the guys in the house band are freaked out by the way they drag through the outro music. It's a little touch, but a great piece of directing / sound design. It's not easy to get a group of people to "play like they're confused".
I hope David Dastmalchian does more horror movies. In interviews its so clear he loves the genre. Hes one of us lol. And his production company easily had the best card at the beginning - the claymation one with the monsters and stuff

The Bohemian Grove is a real thing. It's existed since 1878 and is located on 2,700 acres outside San Francisco. Known members Clint Eastwood, Henry Kissinger, Walter Cronkite, Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Charles Schwab, Mark Twain, and the Bush family.
@@Miscellaneous_Minx Very much still in operation. And still secured to the point an outsider only got in once. A reporter in 1989. He was eventually caught and arrested.
The scariest part about this movie is that The Grove is real. It's a "secret", not so secret, members only "club" thag meets in the woods in California. It includes politicians, business tycoons, and celebrities. They do hold certain "rituals", you can find some pics someone managed to sneak out of there online. That's where this movie got the idea for that owl costume...during The Grove scenes.
Please. 😆 Plenty of workers (usually local college kids) have spoken about the Grove and it’s nothing more than the wealth class cosplaying. In the 80’s they could go and dress as women or have a gay experience or yeah, do “rituals” to an owl totem. But it’s nothing more or scarier than a ComicCon.
@@nannyogthaI'm not worried about the "ritual" stuff being huma sacrifices or something. That stuff is just hilarious nonsense to me. The scary part to me are the actual meetings that happen there. This movie wishes it was Ghostwatch (BBC, 1992). Finally caught that on Shudder and while a real deep horror cut, it's great and actually scary as hell. Has some really wild history with the release. Check it out, you'll love it
This film gives me Seinfeld's The Merv Griffin Show vibes. It's the episode where Kramer finds a late night talk show set in the dumpster and rebuilds it in his apartment. 🤣😂😭
Would love for you guys to react to the 2022 Speak No Evil, the original Danish version! Think you'll looove the tension and emotional journey it takes you on
Longest title card sequence EVER. 😂 Great movie, though. The only thing I didn't like was the scene with the wife where she explains everything. Way too melodramatic and obvious. Most of this film was written very smartly, but "You've finally made it, darling!" is about as graceful as a trucker in a tutu. Great reaction, guys! Literally laughed out loud at times 🙂
Great video! And idk why, but at the end when you were giving your thoughts and you blurred the chapstick made me lol 😂 I thought it was a vape at first

I guess the message of this movie is that theses things might be real, and they might be multi-dimensional. Energy entities. Awesome movie nonetheless. ;)
James Randi was really a good guy, and an icon for scepticism and rational thought.
