- The B-Side to his cover of Venus in furs. This track is argueably Pauls only original song as it is not a cover and he used his own vocals on the track.

No Sense is a masterpiece, arguably the best of Paul’s material done under his own name.
I’ve popped back here to play this again and I too wish an album of Paul’s songs could be released.
I played the unreleased album this morning that he did with James Freud, Gary, Jess, and Roger.
It is what it is, but Paul’s bass work is outstanding throughout.
Paul lives on in his music, and our thoughts, and in his family. 🙏🏼
Absolutely amazing!!!!
This is a really good track from paul. Its a shame he never got to do more.
Gary should release a new CD EP (maybe even on Numa) with all of Paul's songs on it. It could include the 2 versions of 'Venus In Furs', 'No Sense', 'Stormtrooper In Drag' and 'Night Talk' plus anything unreleased. All proceeds to Paul's son. What does everyone think?
Brilliant idea! Tell Gary!
I was lucky to meet Paul when was 14 before Teletour 80 concert lovely man! What a waste of life and talent me thiinks! Great track!
still miss your music Paul. This song is so like my life. Thanks bass brother :)
TeleTour 80, Manchester Apollo October 1980 and as we waited for the curtains to open the whole theatre could hear Gardiner playing out Cars on bass albeit without the speakers, just a faint bass sound coming from behind the curtain. Rehearsing right up to the last moment.
What a great song! I like how he used some of the same elements as Gary, mainly the Prophet 5 "Descending Bells" at :09 and at :37. It's a damn shame what happened to him, he was so talented. But everyone has their demons........RIP
A great track especially for a B-Side, love it!
love this track, RIP Paul , hope your well Chris

RIP Friend
no sense in moving
no sense in moving around
i want a reason, i want a reason that could never be found
do it all over, do it all over again.
the only problem, the only problem is the hate reflects
and nobody wants to know you, and nobody wants to tell you..
( might be telling of his addiction.. RIP Paul)
Can you transcribe what he says at 01:35 please????
