    Most of these videos have convinced me to just stay with my holley 4160 and mechanical pump in my foxbody.

      I have fitech on my nova and wish I had a carb setup instead but am sick of spending money on it

      That's what I'm scared of.
      A friend of my dads who builds cars has sent back 3 of the 400hp ones....same car.

      Tay S just got mine back from repair for $320. Took all day to get it to turn over. Now the idle is low but at least I can get it to start. I just don’t think it should take that much effort for the product they advertise.

    This is the best video i have watched. My Fi-Tech was doing great, THEN it got where it would NOT crank without priming it, may still not, It was also running a tad rough, I followed some of your advice and car is running best it has. It does have a dead spot on acceleration, so i got to watch a video on that. My car is a 1970 396/402 with eldebrock intake. Any suggested watching i'd be grateful, main issue not cranking without a prime of a touch of gas poured in. Hopefully we ironed that out, i'll see after it cools down.

    Why does Fitech not have an entire library of tuning and setup videos/articles? Part of a good product is documentation and not leaving the customer to just figure it out.

      This seems to be the new normal with most products today. No manuals, no libraries, you re left to figure this stuff out on your own.

      Agreed. I told my customer to get a different product, but he brought me a FI tech 400. Has been nothing but a headache since. How does any shop make anything by installing this product? You have to spend hours, days, trying to get it to run properly. I'm about to slap the ole carb back on and send it down the road. Sorry FI tech, but this isn't something I'd recommend to anyone

    If youre not using a FCC then you should change you fuel pump PWM to max value (on all the time), ESPECIALLY if youre using a Walbro 255 pump. You are currently using PWM according to your settings in the clip.

    IF you put the Engine CID to 303 then submit it...turn key off wait for dashboard to blank out then turn key back on it will stay at 302

    My fitech was back firing and idling almost tuning off i used all these settings in the video except cid mine is 350 and and i have a cam so i set it at 2 so far no more back firing

    If you put the cubic inches at 303, after you let it clear, it will then read 302

    I have a FiTech Unit. It is a POS. Engine ran much better with an Edel 1406. More recently, the unit also leaked fuel on the passenger side.

    So glad to know that the fitech doesn't start learning until 170°F. I have a 160°F Thermostat in my freshly built engine and it would explain why I've been having trouble with my engine feeling like its not running to its fullest potential.     Super video, thanks again for doing this. I learn so much every time I watch your video. I wish Fitech has a cheat sheet for number wise and also I heard some people are doing firmware upgrades on their controller, you heard of such a thing?

    I just installed the ultimate fitech on my 49 chevy pick up. It starts but its running full rich and will not idle. I have tried adjusting with no change.

    Can you actually see anything in the menus regarding tach signal? I mean just not rpm numbers. I doesn't throw a noise code...but I'd like to see for myself

    I have a 400hp FiTech on my car, but it doesn’t decelerate as fast as a carburetor. How do I adjust it to decel faster? Hope you can help

    I have a “ready to run” on my car, no ignition it all runs through distributor and coil. I all my have been bundled through fire wall and I am experiencing like a popping/rev limiter feeling sometimes when I take off or at load. I have read I could be getting Electrical interference so I wrapped the 20g blue wire in aluminum foil. It cut it down but still getting the same results. I have checked all plugs on both sides. I am now going to reroute the blue 20g wire to see if this helps. Has anyone else experienced this?

    My fitech is set on 2 for the cam but needs to be on 4 for wild. But when I put it on 4 it wants to die. It runs good on 2. Any suggestions to fix this issue? Would greatly be appreciated

    your videos or a great help tks for what you do I am having a cold start and idle troubles I have watch some videos but cant seem to get it no vacuum leaks idle is set at 850 at warm it runs up and down not much the cold start is it starts right up but dies second start starts and runs any help would be great tks

    My Fitech starts and idles great, but at 2200 RPM's it pops, backfires, craps out! I've called Fitech a few times, but we cannot fix my problem. Anyone have this issue and what did you do?

    I have question that has nothing to do with Fitech so I apologize. On one of your earlier videos you picked up a AODE transmission If remember correctly. My question is, if I was to swap out my manual 3 speed to a 81-93 ford AOD transmission will I need some sort of body lift for clearance? Or can I keep it stock?

      No worries! You know I’m not 100% sure, but I don’t think you need a body lift. I have a 1 inch body lift, but I don’t think it’s needed

    Thanks for the video. I just installed the fitech on my 68 Bronco. During the first start, it fired right up and ran great. I let it sit for three days in the garage and now I'm having trouble. It will start after the prime, run for a few seconds then die. The distributor is good and I'm getting fuel. My first call to fitech was a disappoint as the tech told me it was all the distributor, which was not at all the case. The more I research this, the more common this issue seems to be. Did you have this issue? Can you offer any advice on this?

      I discovered I have fuel volume, but no pressure. I'm running the hyperfuel in tank kit. Lucky me gets to drop the tank. Thinks for the tuning videos. I will use them when I get it fixed. Cheers!

    My ignition screen doesn't look like that. And I can't find the 2 wire rpm sensitivity screen for mine.

      You probably have the later T198i software installed.
      Go to "Write Calibration to Controller" on the menu. Open it and scroll to the bottom it tells you what software vwrsion youre running.

    I was told you can change and upgrade injectors and there was a setting for how many lbs they were and it went from 74 to 300?

    Hey man hopefully your active. I'm having problems with fuel pressure. New mechanical pump. It fills the canister. Car starts wont stay running and I dont have fuel pressure at the canister. Any thoughts?

      I never messed with the fuel command center. So I’m not sure, sorry

      There is a mod you can do to the FCC but then you have to run a return line to the tank.
      It involves removing the FCC float.

    What kind of MPG are you getting? If it’s more than 6MPG (like mine), do you have any tips? I ask because we have a similar setup, other than the 302. Mine was rebuilt (prior to me owning the bronco) by a guy who builds mustang motors for racing.

    Can you tell me... if you go in and make changes and save them. Then you store the vehicle and loose 12v to the unit does it reboot back to original or are those saved in the ECM?

      It’s happened both ways to me. But a couple time recently I’ve pulled my battery and all my setting have been saved. So not sure where the save truly happens

      After youve pressed "Send to ECU" and tgen returned to "Dashboard" and keyed off. Youll see the numbers blank out just as you also hear tge IAC valve park.
      Once these numbers are blanked out the save is written to the ECU and should never be lost or erased until changed again by the user.

      Neither does mine! I’m running a GoEFI 600 with SUPPOSEDLY the latest software (t198). I feel like this setting would help me a lot. I can’t get mine to run after the initial fire-up

      @@jeremyhoye8985 probably too much fuel. FiTech come out of the box very rich. You have to trim off the fuel through the settings.

      Yeah a lot of people are reporting that the temp sensor is 10-20 degrees off

    Any one wanting to buy a Fitech should think long and hard about wasting
    your hard earned cash on this system. Months of drama and no support
    for Fitech. Still not running!!

    i absolutely hate fitech, it has never worked well more than 2 days, we have done everything they recommended and it totally sucks
