Every single one of your videos has completely blown my mind. Huge credit always to Justin and the Reaper team. This DAW is out on its own, and relatively few people appreciate this
wow öÖ, that means every knob on every vst can be beatsynched with lfo and what not ... really badass your suctom wahwah filter sounds better than 90% of plugins
After this video, I was using Reapitch and for some weird reason I was like: "What if I put ReaPitch on the bass, then turn on an LFO on the Formant Shift by Octave slider?" Got to tell you. Holy shit. I even rendered that shit because it was so cool hahahahaha then I recorded another bassline because that other track wasn't playing that foundational role anymore. Sometimes you gotta let yourself go and remember to have fun (that is probably why you started making music in the first place) once you're having fun, you'll find yourself in sonic spaces you would have never asked for, but will be glad you found them
that was a killer tutorial gonna try do that soon. Just a question, im very new to reaper but i want to add this effect only to a certain part of a solo (ie the fast part of the main solo in Sweet Child). How do I apply this effect only to that segment? Can I just select that segemnt and do this or do I have to cut it out into a new track?
Tyrone Holmes Enable the "Bypass" Envelope for the ReaEQ under the track envelopes. Create two points: one at the start, and one at the end, of the section you want. On the sides of the Bypass envelpoe outside of the section you want with wah, drag the lines up. This will bypass the EQ/wah for the rest of the track, but leave it in the section you want it in
I don't want automation, I am recording some anesthesia pulling teeth and I want to be able to put wah in a certain spot in the track, how do I do this?

Hey dude i love your videos man ;)
lololol
Just when you think you know Reaper..
More and more layers begin to surface
I came for the auto wah, and stayed for those groovy funky awesome guitar rhythms.
Wow. Thanks Kenny.. I looked and looked for a decent plugin for this effect and it was in Reaper all along.
"Let's make it more peaky"
Quickly adjusts headphone volume
Great video as always Kenny!
I am only 5 minutes in and you solved every single problem I have and can even foreshadow. I cannot imagine what's in store for me in the latter half
Subbed. Fantastic tutorial and a lifesaver right now because my weeping demon just died. Thank you!
Excellent tutorial! I knew it was possible, but you describe all the possibilities in detail, thanks for that!
Wow awesome. I wish I could put this in a pedal for live playing. Way more flexible than any pedal I've seen.

Great work. Thank you!
Very, very nice !!
So this is the filter effect in EDM? A wah?
I came looking for that too. Will try this on a pulsing synth riff I want to modulate
