Nice painting. I hope I get that good with gouache. I am an acrylic painter but it's giving me migraines so I'm changing to gouache. Make sure you paint your trunks a bit wider than the white area and into the green so you won't get that haloing around them (white around them) and they'll look more like they belong.

Turned out lovely. Of course! Btw I find the rough edges that get lost after removing the washi tape quite charming, they make it look beautifully organic (Idk if that's a suitable term). :)
