- We teamed up with Wajax Canada to outfit our boat with SEAKEEPER and SEAKEEPER RIDE system. We were very excited to get the boat upgraded with this new equipment and we used the talented team at INREPID MARINE to install it for us.
In this video we head out on the water for the first time ever and do a few quick tests to get the SEAKEEPER and SEAKEEPER RIDE dialed in, and we ask the question "Does it really make a difference?"

That’s crazy cool 😎
Thanks glad you liked it!
What setup should I use for staging kings
Try jigging!
At trolling speed does the output from one engine alternator keep up with the power demand for the two Seakeeper systems and other house loads?
Hi @tomminerick9115, Trevor from Intrepid Marine Solutions here. Like we saw in the video the gyro consumes about 30-35 amps at 12V during operation. A typical 250-350hp outboard will be equipped with a 80-90 amp alternator, which will give around 30 amps at trolling speed from a single engine. Boat load varies a lot, but it is not uncommon for our clients to have a small negative draw when idling or trolling with the Seakeeper running. Part of our installation process is discussing your use case, and making sure you have enough power to enjoy a typical day on the water for you. We often install a couple additional batteries or solar panels to compensate for the draw, but every client's project is unique. Don't hesitate to reach out to me directly if you have any questions, I'm always happy to take a call. Thanks for the question!
