- Kiwi builder Jared Banks called his 26ft Black Watch project Priorities, after wife Libby questioned his. She took more than 1600 hours to create (the boat, not Libby) and features an 880mm extension, Yanmar power plant with recessed leg, custom hardtop with curved windscreen, 220L freezer, custom kitchenette and much, much more.

Very nice build. I love the Blackwatch. I had the pleasure of working at Blackwatch Sales - Pittwater in Sydney many years ago. Never had the pleasure of owning on though. I would have loved one but I had to be content with my old slug, a 36' Steber. I love what you've done with the stern. I would have liked to see a bit more detail and explanation on it. 😃

Easy to look at one man's effort and say how you would do it differently, but extremely hard to invent what you want out of nothing. You have my greatest respect. What I learned from this is to CAD the top and make it from aluminum. Just have a machine shop shoot out the pieces from a cutting table and weld them together.
Should’ve just bought the flybridge model and remove the top portion of the bridge to save them a lot of time money and sweat don’t try to reinvent the wheel
This is why you go for a Yamaha outboard.
