Seeing that otter and seabird was absolutely heartbreaking...
I mean they were cleaning the beaches with paper towels it looked like. It would take a million years to clean all that oil up. That is devastating
Nyac and Homer (the sea otters survived from this oil spill) brought me here

@@theanalyzer1512 Hi, there, it was the drunkard captain's fault, but he hadn't taken a sobriety test until several hours after the Exxon Valdez was ruptured. Nobody knows if he was drunk when the crash occurred or not.

Those animals were scared of the very people who went to rescue them. When oil got all over those animals, it made them hurt and itch worse than a person has ever itched. Some of them could not survive such an instant accident and had to be given a lethal dose of drugs. I guess this is a case of technological negligence gone horribly wrong.
