  • My first REAL RUclips video (!) is all about saving a vintage Kaufman Furniture dresser from a date with a dump truck. Plucked from the side of the road, I work over two full days to repair, refinish, and turn this solid piece into something BEAUTIFUL! I love a wood and paint combination!
PS- YES, I know the music is loud. I was still learning. You'll find my later videos much better with the audio!

I've watched a lot of similar videos (people restoring old things, or doing woodwork) and I almost never leave a comment, but I figured this time I will since your channel is so new. What you do with the furniture is great, but honestly your voiceover is my favorite part. You sound very calm, friendly and genuine and your voice is really pretty, just like the furniture you save. Wow, another amazing job. I like the detail you give each piece, especially to the inside of the drawers. Most people don't even think about that part of the piece. Really came out beautiful!

I’m amazed. I love how you don’t skip out on the little things like top oil finish and inside drawers. I guess most people wouldn’t know the difference as I wouldn’t have picked up on it, but going I will ♥️. Would love for you to post a video telling your fans like me, how you came to doing this type work, how you choose paint and finish, hardware etc, how you decide pricing, where do you sell your items, is it possible to make a living doing this, etc.
I love hearing the back stories of such design creators like yourself and aspire to do something like this one day 🙂

Hi Vicky! There’s actually a two part series I’ve done (they are fairly long so split into two parts) all about the business side of it, making a living etc, things to consider. I just uploaded part two only a few minutes ago- feel free to check them out! ❤️
