If you are reading this, please pray for my family. I have a family member who is a heroine addict, and another who has Cirrhosis of the liver, and is basically drinking herself to death. Neither want help right now. Please, please pray that Jesus captures their hearts. They do not know the Lord, and it is the biggest cry out my heart that they would scream out to Jesus. I know that the road will not be easy for either of them, even with the love of Jesus in this world- but my prayer goes so much deeper. That even with the addictions and pains of this world, they would have the Hope that comes from knowing Jesus. The Hope that one day, He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and take away the pain of this life in the end, if they would just believe. I am so worn by the pain of watching them die. I get so discouraged from it all- so I would appreciate every prayer you can say for us.
I’m so sorry. I know the heartache, and despair of addiction. Watching those you love in that condition is so tough. Saying a prayer for you now. Thanks for sharing so others can pray too.
