I just got a sunfish that needs repair. My son liked playing don't rock the boat while the boat was on the lawn. He also asked me a ton of questions about what I was doing to fix the boat.
If this were me "eventual" fairing would be one of those things that I manage to forget about, except for when I am actually sailing and think "darn I meant to get to that" :)

I'm not saying you're right... I'm just saying it's been a few months and I haven't done it yet.
