Sheri, when you talk about breaking in your shoes before the cruise, something a lot of people forget about is new water shoes. I took a new pair on a cruise a couple of years ago and OUCH! Blisters for days!

When we went on our cruise we didn't take a hair dryer because they said there's one suppose to be in your room. We'll there was one. But it didn't work. Luckily one of our other family members in another room brought theirs or we would have been up the creek without a Paddle. But having to hunt for one & go across on the other side of the ship to get it almost made us late for supper that night. So we always pack a hair dryer no matter if they have one or not.
i love to pack the poopouri spray and airfreshner as well. I like to use car vent clips so that way it has continuous smell and i dont have to pack a big aresol can
I have never been on carnival, seen a lot of them when in ports on celebrity, norwegian, and princess ships, everyones seems to like a lot. Another great video thanks.
IMO, I’d skip the men’s sleeveless t shirts. Carnival has enough problems being compared to Walmart. Wearing wife-beater undershirts doesn’t help the issue.
My necessary items are fan and blow dryer!! My AC was broken on my last cruise. It was miserable. Also the last time I used a provided blow dryer, I used it so long the motor burned out. My hair was still wet!
My last Carnival cruise, the Jubilee, a guy was allowed in wearing sweatpants, tshirt and flip flops for dressy night! They clearly don't enforce it at times.
A little unrelated warning, we didn't pay attention to Azamara's Yelp and BBB reviews before booking the line. We've been charged a deposit twice, and Azamara claimed that their system was glitchy at the time, and that this happened to many. No cleared refund by Friday as promised, nothing is even pending. If I believe them that this was a temporary error that affected everyone, shouldn't they have mass email with an update, especially for those that didn't notice? I invited our cruising friends to the sailing, and they've already had a bad experience with them, similar booking games.
@@CruiseTipsTV I booked through a Travel Agent, and have requested a cancelation for tomorrow. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a chargeback or two. I much prefer Costco or Vacation To Go, but Cruise DOT was almost $1.000 per person cheaper.
@@CruiseTipsTV Update, Azamara has changed their story, and are blaming me. Since I added a $99 shore excursion X 2 on July 1st, that triggered the 2nd deposit on June 28th for $1,100. Makes sense, time travel charges going backwards in time are never accurate!
