To this day, the production of Invasion was one of the best albums I’ve ever heard. The depth, warm, “polish” and general vibe is astonishing. I’d dearly LOVE to know the specifics on how he got that kind of sound on that album.
Ratt didn't like the direction Beau was taking them but there were contracts involved with Atlantic Records. Maybe this wasn't true to what Ratt felt Ratt should sound like.
The fact that he's bringing in other players to speed up to the process. You have Warren Demartini and you're bringing in a session player?! They're a multi platinum band. Wether it's the talent or their success, show some respect
Invasion's Sound to me is memorizing! I remember hearing it for the first time in it's entirety on LAV FM in Grand rapids MI. Aris played it and I was blown away. It was a week before its release. Beau Hill deserves mucho Credit for creating that sound!
@@RNRcoffeeshow I know a LOT of people who would gladly pay for even just a list of gear used, never mind techniques. I've tried to find as much info on "all the above" with that album, and it's few and far between. But, to this ver day, that album is an absolute masterpiece....(and, yes, with one of the best guitar tones ever recorded, but it's MUCH more than that, it's the entire "vive".).
Detonator is a brilliant album! Interesting he didn’t go on with Interscope cause that ended up with Eminem and limp bizkit - must have made a fortune.
This guy sounds like a complete lurker who always got lucky. But it's usual for these types of people to make us believe this way that they almost didn't interfere in the slighest with their luck! Complete mind trickery!! haha! They use this technique to avoid spilling their true means of success!😋 But i understand why Ratt didn't like him. I wouldn't, too
I don’t think he’s directly comparing it - it’s just a rock anthem and he shouldn’t be ashamed of it cause tonnes of people and casual people who don’t even know music do know cherry pie.
Love Ratt. Wish beau would do 1 more album with Ratt! God bless you and all the Ratt n rollers! Thanks for sharing !
Crazy that he would get fired after every album. I feel like Beau is what made Ratt sound like Ratt! His mixes were amazing for that time!
Right?! How crazy is that?

The reason, is they felt Beau would rush them through the album recordings instead of refining it.

I couldn’t agree more. Hopefully Beau will be back on the show soon!

Who-hoo GR🧤👍🏾!
All of the Ratt stuff Beau did was incredible. I especially liked what Beau brought to Way Cool Jr. He added so much to that song.
I love everything Beau did with Ratt. Watch for Beau to return to the show real soon!
Thanks for the entertainment, and knowledge, just love these interviews!

What time stamp did they talk about Twisted Sister. I heard about 5 seconds mentioning Dee Snider and thats it.
The sad thing is that 200 million would not be enough to make Ratt reunite today
I would to see it happen!

Comparing Cherri Pie, one of the dumbest songs ever, to anything Queen did is insane.
Damn interviewer keeps interrupting the interviewee. Pass.
Really? Beau goes on like three minute tangents. Are we listening to different interviews?
I'm sorry but cherry pie is no where near the same realm or arena as we will rock you
