It absolutely did not feel like an entire movie. Things happened and there were characters but that was it. It was a really strange movie experience for me.

And can we also talk about two other things that were just as weird. So, at the very beginning of the movie, we see him on top of a cliff, blocking off a bat cave entrance with what resembles metal strings. This part is never reference again in the movie, and the film never takes us back to that part. Also, what exactly makes him superhuman?? I mean it’s not like the bats were radioactive or anything. Or maybe I just missed that part lol.

The same way animal blood can't be transfused into human blood in real life. All vampire mythos states that vampires cant live off cows and pigs. But it should've been brought up in the movie for questions like this. And he can just make better artificial blood meant for him.
Didn't read the comics so I can't see this being connected to Spider-Man but if this movie was connected to the new Blade movie now that would be amazing

I know this is a comic book movie. I bought this movie. And I couldn’t finish watching it. And the first 35 minutes I had to stop. What was all the smoke. It’s like they were trying to make him super natural like Drachler. I kind of feel like I was watching The movie underworld again. Sony you drop the ball.
It had some cool special effects & it had some beautifully framed shots but the story felt so irratic and disjointed. I wish it had been better. I really wanted to like it more
So Morbius was created because they wanted a vampire in the MCU but they weren't allowed to. They had to make some changes to give them enough of a difference
I haven’t seen any of the Sony Villain-verse movies except for the 2 Venom movies, but from this review, and the review of Madame Web, AND the speculation around the Kraven movie, AND the Easter eggs we’ve seen so far, I’m starting to wonder if they aren’t trying to relaunch/reboot the Toby McGuire Spider-Man series. I know that Madame Web is set in 2003, and that baby Peter Parker is born in that movie, AND that by 2003 Toby’s Spider-Man was in, or had graduated from college. I know that. But how many normies know that? And how many Spidey-Fans would be willing to accept a loose continuity if it meant that we get SOME kind of continuation of that series, along with answers to questions asked by fans of Spider-Man: No Way Home?
The only thing exciting about this moving coming out is that I won't have to see the stupid trailer play every time I go to the movies, finally that's over!
This would've been a great vampire movie alone... But the attempt to connect to the MCU was bad and rushed...like just bring in Blade, not Spiderman. Show us a real Vampire interact with Morbius. I feel like people just don't like Jared Leto, he reminds me of the hate Russell Brand got.
It sucks that everyone, especially Sony, will blame Leto for the movie failing, when in reality Sony is as bad as Fox was at making good Marvel movies.

Is animal blood every mentioned as an alternative to human blood? I've watched a lot of videos on Mobius but so far no one's mentioned it.
