I had a dream the other night, and it was them releasing the movie already, and it was trash, so now I don't care when the release date is, as long as it is good.
I really hope Sony isn't rushing this one. We're looking at the conclusion to two of the best animated movies ever made. If it doesn't stick the landing, it'll go down as probably one of the most disappointing movies of all time.
I just pray that this movie isn't rushed, I wouldn't be mad at all if they need more time to finish the movie, I would actually be more happy and excited because then the movie would be much greater.

Miles Morales ' dad isn't going to die because his dad is turning captain in 2 days and when miguel was talking about canon events miles said to Gwen"your dads a captain " which means that her dad was gonna die too. But her dad quit being a captain therefore changing the story and that's why Miles dad is not going to die
If we think about the laws of the universe the theory of canon events is debunked. Or else spider people wouldn’t be able to be different races, different ages, in different lives, etc.
Spider verse franchise is top 5 or top 10 the greatest animation movies of all time. There’s so much quality and passion, style and love for the webhead. But on top of all that it has a layed, rich, multi versal story that they somehow managed to make relateable to the human experience. Bravo 🙌
Imagine if someone dies that is unexpected, like everyone is thinking that either Gwen, Rio, Jeff (Oops, I meant Mrs and Mr Morales), Miguel, or Peter B. Parker will die, yet what if it is someone like Hobie (I will burn this world to the ground if he is killed off), or Pavitar (Spider-Man needs a happy ending without having it end short). I hope that no-one dies, but I do hope that they go over the topic of Gwen Stacy's death (ASM 121). I feel like that would be a great way to keep this movie extremely emotional, especially for the people that cried in TASM2 (Me) when Gwen died.
I feel like either of Miles' parents _or_ Peter B. Parker are the three most likely to die. Because if it's going to be a "gut punch" like the video says, then it has to be someone we've spent the most amount of time with (so, since the first movie). However, with that said, _there's no way it'll be Gwen._ She will survive. I just know she will.

I’m glad that this year went by in a flash because it makes the wait more bearable! I watched the first movie doubtfully and found myself falling in love with this trilogy! I’m perfectly cool with the team taking their time and making this ending perfect!

From the moment Across was announced as a Part One until about halfway through watching it, I was convinced the cliffhanger would be the dad dying. Only time will tell if they actually do it, and I could go either way. I feel like killing the mom wouldn't work as well because there's been less of a focus on her. She had maybe ten lines in the first movie and only a few big scenes in Across.
The 2nd Spider Verse movie was Quwens Movie. It started with her & ended with her. It was her story Arc.... that gave a deeper meaning to Miles arc & what's to come.... Crazy thing is I didn't realize this until the end when Quwen got the band/friends back together. F'n Amazing writing & vision. Love these Movies
This is probably the single movie I wouldn't get impatient waiting for. I adore it so much, it NEEDS a lot of time to be spectacular, the astonishing quality and magic of the first two does not come quickly. I could wait years as long as it comes out good.

There's a great comic where spider pig talk about how Spier-man and Gwen sacrificed a lot to get the life they have when talking about their kids. I hope it's similar to that in the movies.
when they initially announced the release date, i was surprised and figured maybe they had done most of the work on it as a sequel to follow up such an intense cliffhanger. but i was prepared to wait as long as it takes, for such a fantastic trilogy. they can take another 2 years if it means they continue making this franchise so innovative, gorgeous, and wonderful.

Miles’ mother is the first canonical death aside from his uncle actually. And the universe DID get destroyed in the comics albeit for a different reason; it just got rebuilt later. I’m guessing the same may happen in the third film in its own unique way since the films have largely kept certain major elements of the comics thematically- i.e. failing to save Peter and blaming himself, his uncle trying to kill him, meeting a Spider-Man from a diff universe, etc.
You also forgot to mention spot! He went to learn more about his multiversal powers so I assume he's also going to be a big part of the story next movie.
if u think about it canon events dont apply to miles since hes the og anomaly meaning he dont have a solid story therefor meaning if he saved his dad his universe should be fine since his universe was fine when he got bit by the spider in the first place
