At the Indy 500’s 100th running we had one pass extremely low. It was pretty cool. The year before a couple of A-10s had almost made the pass early and had to break off, so I kept making the joke that if the BUFF was early, there was no turning back.

I know from personal experience in the Army that just getting aircraft over a drop zone or a intended target within a few minute window is tough enough, I wouldn't want to try getting over a stadium in a specific few SECOND window. Amazing work on whoever calls them in for those fly overs

We're kinda spoiled at Arrowhead. We get the B2 flyover many times a year, since its a 12 min flight from their home base, and its always part of crew training. Good practice on extremely timely arrival on target.
