    They should put a water boiler in the clean water unit, because hot water desinfects and cleans much more efficiently.

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  3 месяца назад

      You'd think so. There argument was that hot water isn't required, as it's purpose is to break down stubborn stains that are being scrubbed by hand. Because the agitation of the mop is so much more than you can do by hand, hot water isn't needed.
      I'm not so sure.

    And in all honesty they should compare to the market leader atm not to a mop and bucket! That problem has been solved. It’s like pharmaceuticals comparing their pills to placebo pills and not the best drug currently on the market smh

    • @motivatedtravel
      @motivatedtravel  4 месяца назад +1

      Yes and no. I get your point and agree to an extent, but I can see their point, too. Which was that 70% (I think that's what they said) of people still use a mop and bucket. So they're talking to people that haven't upgraded yet, rather than people who have.

      @@motivatedtravel We have been using iRobot Scooba, Bissell Crosswave Max, Tineco iFloor last 20 years. People who do not wish to use a mop already found their solutions and do not use one. Was a while ago that I filmed it, but my memory is that I didn't like how much water it dropped on the ground whenever you tried to move it.
      Ultimately, I think the Mach V1 is probably more versitile with its steam function and ability to go over rugs and the like, but not as good at pure mopping.
      Given the price similarities, I can see the argument for the Eufy.

    Also- if you dropped an entire meal on the floor( kids do this lots) - you’d clean most of it up manually in order to avoid the tray getting clogged.
    I think you can’t really beat ‘hands’ when it comes to this type of problem but for disabled/ elderly people- this is perfect. 👌🏼 if I had the money and a larger house, I would definitely get one though. But I wouldn’t let it do pet poo/ vomit 😂

      Based on the Dyson engineering video they showed and personally owning a cross wave I would say they addressed a lot of the issues I have with the cross wave. The cross wave vacuums the water from the floor and collects it all into one container above. This creates a mixture of the solids and the liquid that’s a mess to deal with. The extra tubing to get it all to the collector container gets clogged with solids too and is a beast to clean. With the Dyson it seems to avoid this by immediately separating the solids from the liquid. My only concern is that the Dyson’s solid collection tray may be too small but I guess we’ll see how it works once it’s released. I’ve also seen videos that suggest the Dyson is loud. Again I’m curious once it’s out in the wild for people to comment on.
