Anyways, I couldn't help myself... If you clean-up (put in folders, etc.) all those desktop icons you will save some system resources; saves Windows having to load and re-load them each time the desktop becomes the active focus.✌

Thank you very much for this tutorial, amazing work, the effects are amazing, specatcular. Only about the mouse I have a different settings because just "enhance pointer precision" helps me a lot in CSGO but my mouse is Dream Machines DM1 S2 and I have an unusual mousepad with microscopic woven meshes by Fantech but the mouse has better glide on it than on a completely smooth one, I don't know why. It's just the best surface for me. The graphics card, processor and windows settings are amazing. System explorer 7 is great too. I have the same processor as you and my computer now is much more responsive and runs much better than on the default windows settings. I only had one problem with the program "ooshutup10" when I selected the recommended settings unfortunately the CSGO exe stopped working so I restored the system from the point created in this program and manually selected the options I want to have disabled especially from sending information to microsoft.

Hi Flame, my fastest cpu core is 5, what should I set my second core to? In the video you said that the yellow/golden star is the fastest, and the grey star is the second fastest, which it was core 7 for you, but you didn't set it to core 7, that's why I'm confused.

From my understanding even numbers are the actual cores while the odd numbers are the hyperthreaded cores.

Hey Flame, I have a question about 59:54 for people that use hyper threading, should you pin the usb ones on the threads or on the cores? Or cores + threads? Or don’t it matter it’s just all about not having those on cpu0? cuz CPU5 is a thread from CPU4 right? I would be thankful for a reaction. Great video :)
Affinity only matter on lower end systems on higher end ones with multi core and hyper threading it’s best to just leave it stock and not touch it
Why wouldn’t you take of the load of cpu0? It will most likely reduce latency right? I have a decent pc and I use GG OS (windows iso that’s completely stripped) and for me it reduced latency. Hyper threading off for Fortnite works better for me, I get more fps without hyper threading

if you want lower latency disable ht but keep in mind this will decrease fps a little in games like fn or warzone 2
This is misinfo. CPU 0 is ur CPU core 1, CPU 1 is ur Hyper threading Core 1.
Your GPU will always reset specified core if its more then one, so its only possible to select 1 core, or it will be resetet to core 0, tested multiple times with monlatency
Flame how do i fix this? If i play games my ingame ms/ping is slow which is im lagging but my Internet speed test shows 18, 19, 20 download and upload is 3. Is 18, 19, 20 good?
Hello, I have followed your steps and everything is fine. But I have noticed that the icon to manage the network has disappeared. I've checked but I can't find how to recover it. I would like to keep the option to connect to the wifi network as I sometimes need it. Can you tell me how to get it back? Thanks

You can just one by one you’ll have to pause the video until I can get a google drive folder working it still keeps deleting my files because it doesn’t like them thinks they have viruses

Not all of what you are saying here is correct. GPU scaling, for example, should always be activated! Especially if you have multiple monitors with different Hz rates like a 240 Hz and 144 Hz screen. But I like your work! There is a lot of usefulness in it and of course I left you a Like!
Not correct it causes much higher input latency and overall worse handling of resolutions in games
@@Flameboi900 But gpu scaling eliminates micro stuttering and stabilizes frame times.
We're talking here about smooth gameplay and smooth frame times. The smoother the frame times the better the game is. If you have a 240hz monitor the latency can lay out more worse or better the sad thing is that the frame time is getting unstable and unsync so means that i don't have a 1:1 ratio gameplay but i have a 2:1 ratio gameplay and i don't want 2 0.1ms buffers to get send over the game so the game scales it up to a hifger buffer ( 1ms because of timer resolution) and have more unstable ratio inside. I can tell you a discord server called melody. They have good tweaks but i don't recommend their bat file. Do everything manually.

@@maharshichitania1895 So making the mouse more responsive depends kinda on how much processes you have running in the background (task manager = performance = cpu) and on Valorant it's kinda client based side but i do recommend debloating your network adapter, means that you untick everything and tick the ones you want to use but do not untick ipv4 tho.

I don't usually comment much on youtube. But I am writing this to let you know that following some steps in this video works for me and reduced the latency drastically. I can't thank you enough for your hard work in making this video and for not applying Random regs. You explained and applied that's what I wanted this video to be. Keep up your good work. Apart from these I can't understand why I cannot find PCI-to-PCI bridge in GTX 1060 3GB Winforce OC Gigabyte (showed by connection), so I skipped the interrupt affinity part. And I want to know why some people disabled HPET. Does it really worth it? Sorry for asking about the topic not included in the video.
No disabling the HPET doesn’t make a difference anymore that was only older builds of windows 10 in modern windows 10 it’s perfectly fine to leave it on
@@Flameboi900 alright. In Valorant, I got 5-6ms CPU render time before so I fresh installed my pc and tweaked my pc according to your video. Now I am so happy to see the CPU render tike reduced to 2 to 4ms. I can sense the responsiveness between monitor, gpu and my mouse, I can react much faster and win more gun fights. Road to Immortal! @@leonelmessi3010 having 2-4ms in render time isnt good, the game doesnt prefer to use the cpu more than it should and that can lead into ping issues or also into fps drops. your cpu render time must be the same, low processes or high processes don't matter since all resources go into the game if the card gets used alot.
@@Flameboi900 Disabling the HPET is good for some people for other its not good. i would leave HPET on in the device manager but disable it in bios since you get input lag out of it.
@@normalguylmao this is true and for that fact I usually keep it enabled although in some rare exceptions like when the bios doesn't have a HPET option you can force it off that way in the operating system. But generally, most modern hardware agrees and works well with the timer on but I completely agree with this point if you have other questions or things to tell me I am active on discord often link in description or in pinned comment
How do I set your Bitsum Power Plan as my default power plan? I've tried deleting all power plans but yours, however, everytime I restart my computer, "Ultimate Performance" power plan is there again and equipped as my power plan. Any help is appreciated.
Pretty sure ultimate performance power plan is something you enabled using command prompt and I’m no expert but if I had to guess I’d guess that it’s overriding your other settings.

What it means is that it’s not my most up to date guide anymore I am not sure if I will make another one of these guides but I was basically sick and tired of people accusing me of breaking their systems from this video so I now have to claim it’s outdated for that reason

Its really handy to have these kinds of videos, so when people reinstall Windows they just click this video and know what to do straight away.
And maybe do a full risk disclaimer for all the people that are unsure what they do. If they still proceed to tweak their systems and change things they shouldnt change, they cant put their fault on you.
okay, windows automatically deleted my restore points 'cause I think created too many, and now I'm stuck with no microphone access. I've already followed your steps on how to renable them, but they didn't work. Every time I tried to go to Privacy>Microphone settings would close by itself. Anyway, thanks for your optimisation guide!

hey flame while paying close attention to this guide, i encountered an issue where i can't sign into my microsoft account or the xbox game bar, what happened?
Did you remove it and did you use the disable game bar tweaks because both would cause the issue
Also all Xbox services must be set to at least manual to work
@@Flameboi900 ngl I feel like I removed it by accident cause I have friends on xbox that I like to keep in contact with, the game bar loads up with an infinite signing in pop-up, did research if it had to do with the services..? but idk.. when I go into settings my Microsoft account is not signed in fully just a default profile picture for some reason not my custom one.

Yo guys, so after i did the services tweak i cant use the "file explorer" thing. For example, when i try to open my task manager > run new task and then click in "browse", every time i click in "browse" everything just crashes, and everything that has that function crashes too. What can i do? i can just use a restore point, but i really dont want to go and do it all over again just to find out what is going wrong.

@@Flameboi900 Thank you for your concern, I restored my computer using a restore point I made before tweaking the services. Since I don't have anything better to do right now, I'm going to enable them one by one (At least those i found on your video, cuz i already had some services disabled) until I find which service is causing this problem. If I find which service is the villain, I'll say its name here 👍

Setting Idle Promote & Demote threshold to 100 is really bad advice because it breaks C states which on non K Intel CPUs will lower the ratios and lock them leading to a performance loss.
I know this I have videos coming up about it that mention this I just finished my schooling for now and I will make a video addressing this

Yo when I disable appx deployment service thing I couldn’t go to theme in settings app it said something about Sstem detected an overrun of a stack based buffer in this application and when I go to privacy tab in settings I couldn’t access the thing in there and it kinda scares me cuz I says the same thing and it also said a malicious user can acces my pc something like that so what services I need to re enable to that doesn’t happened thanks. And it says I’m not connected to a network but I am tho so idk wtf happened pls replay back so I can re enable the services.
listen I am a good, kind understanding individual so here is the reg paths and how to fix things to enable appx go to this path HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\AppXSvc and change start from 4 to 2

and to fix your themes issue reneable the themes service in services as automatic should resolve the issue

Either you have an older pc or you don’t have the correct pcie link speed set in bios when starting up your pc go into the bios and make sure your pcie link speed is set correctly

Done some testing doesn't really make a difference in most games and if you have it enabled on a game that already has it on it actually makes it worse

I specifically mentioned in the video if you listened to keep the Xbox stuff on if you still want it and to not remove any Xbox stuff or disable any Xbox services

This was 20h2 I believe the first ever version of it at the time but now I use the newest windows 10 update and I tweak different than this video for sure

Tweaks were great but only issue I had is crazy fluctuating ping in games, starting changing settings back one by one but after the fourth or so setting it was the MTU back to 1500 from 1492.
So what did you set your MTU to remove packet loss
I would recommend trying mtu 1479 it removes the internet latency quite a bit

Use latencymon to figure out which cpu has the lowest time run it for 5 minutes plus and look at the cpu tab then pin the gpu to the fastest core or either the lowest Latency core
