Same thing when it's the guy who was working at a sanctuary that had multiple kinds of bears, and one male ostrich that would always mating dance near him. (He fell off a ladder and passed.)
The cross-over pec fly, is the only way I've ever found to get a chest burn. I've tried DB flies, rows, bench press, push up, etc and all it ever does is hurt my shoulders This is the only thing that gets me a chest burn at all
What muscles you focus to use in the motion plays a large role, some people get only arm development from push ups, its a ROM flaw not a technique flaw, all those previously mentioned when done right and intense enough for your BMI can produce burn and growth
Why do you need a chest burn? Muscles grow perfectly well without burn or pump. And the best way for a natural to grow bigger muscle is through increasing intensity and through progressive overload. Compound movements like bench press and weighted dips is your best choice for doing that. Everything else is inferior.
Nothing beats the peckdeck though, just one arm at a time so you can cross over there too. On the cable, without bench, it s so hard to switch off lower back and abs when the weight gets serious
Yea, the loading potential in cable crossover is soo low that it's laughable. IMO it's not worth your time in the gym but rather just a fun exercise for a change.
@@jakobwing9660 But not for loading potential. I like all of my exercises heavy so it doesn't suit my training style and is not effective for me. I'm not necessarily saying that it is a bad, ineffective exercise.
I second this. Great for load-bearing and concentric, towards the beginning of a workout. Cable fly here is better for higher rep hypertrophy, time under tension, and muscle failure.
Nahh dude, I'd recommend not to touch it at all. Especially if you've just recently started, atleast get a yr, yr and a half in of constant training so you can see what natural results can deliver. You'd probably be surprised
Reach your genetic potential first before you make that kind of decision. It will likely take ten years for you to do so, provided you keep your diet and lifting on point the entire time. Juicing early will rob you of your true limits.
If you've just started lifting, stay away from it. Alos unless you have plans to compete at certain levels, I would personally recommend to stay natural
@@Milky_Cum I never said I disagreed with what he was doing. In fact obviously he knows what he's doing I was just offering a couple of more variants to the exercise. And if you ever watch any of his videos he's all about control and form and time under tension. Most people do 10 reps and are done but instead of doing 10 reps try doing 45 to 60 seconds of slow control reps
Another good way ive always found to maximise both time under tension whilst not cutting your self short is to hold at the point of tension for 4 seconds on each rep and squeeze the muscle as hard as possible for that 4 seconds. an easy way to count is whilst doing each rep is 1111, 2222, 3333 etc that way making sure you get 4 seconds whilst not loosing count of reps. another excise i always use this is concentration curls

He was just demonstrating a more effective way of doing the cable crossovers not the duration and control of the exercise
