I own the same truck and color for the past 12 years but still got everything stack v6 2.8 motor and I love it and hopefully one day I will swap motor to a 350 sbc
I’ve got an all original 1988 my dad bought brand spanking new. Had it repainted to original bright red like this truck. No rust, no dents, no anything. Interior all original like new. Rebuilt iron duke 4 cylinder with original 5 speed. What is a truck like mine worth you think?? Every bit as nice as this one..but all factory original. I know nice ones a really hard to find!! I’ve considered selling it but don’t know what they are worth
That 10 bolt rear in 88 was the first year for 28 (from 26) spline axles so that's good, but the pinion in a 4.11 geared 7.6" rear end isn't much bigger than a baby's fist, it can potentially strip itself on the crown, 3.08 or 3.42 are stronger gear choices and with the low first gear in the 5 speed 4.11's are a waste of time and energy especially in a street truck. That being said this truck should be considered a incomplete V8 build from a durability stand point.
Makes no room got the same induction hood, i provides more air to the carb more HP that way due to the negative pressure...not suppose to look "good" although i never had anyone say it's not nice. It's actually always been a focal point of my truck, it's suppose to be functional and it is...
Financing on a ragged out V8 squarebody. 😂. Going back to building my full restomod S10 Blazer I bought for $275 and will build my own way a heck of a lot cheaper than that.

I think it should be dropped 1 more inch up front and 3-4" in the back, this stance makes the back tires look like big donuts !
❤❤❤
Chevrolet should have made a S10 Supersport Truck V8 concept back in the 80s or maybe the 60s C10 SS 327 or 396 Pickups
Es una hermosura

Which 5 speed is that with the shifter way forward on the tunnel like that ? T-5, Turmeric 3500 ?
Sweet!!
Beautifully done truck, don’t care for the taillights.
Those tail lights look awful on an otherwise sweet truck.
Jason Grooming same idc for the cowl too much either but I'm sure it's to make room for the sbc

What size are your rear tires
Would've like to have seen it in person to make sure it wasn't another hack job.
She is beautiful
Did y'all have any trouble fitting that stereo in?
We dont do any work on the vehicles.
They are in these conditions when we put them on our showroom floor.
GatewayClassicCars oh ok, thanks for the reply
Toni _ had to cut a little for mine
Not difficult to get a stereo in, though there is not much depth room so some will not fit right.
nice - hey, what bucket seats did the owner use for this S10? I'm having a hard time finding units that will work...
The interior is a real throwback to the early 90s, with factory '93 Camaro sport buckets.
GatewayClassicCars thanks! Did you need special brackets to fit the S10?
Please call the sales team at our Atlanta showroom at 678-894-4833
GatewayClassicCars
Just use Blazer brackets and Camaro/Firebird or late 80s Grand Am seats and you're golden. No need to call any sales dept as recommended

Looks well restored to me.
Who ever built that truck needs to get their priorties right, a hopped up small block, but no power brakes nor power steering. What a bloody numpty.
Downshift the transmission to aid in braking.
