FYI - Charleston Car Videos on RUclips Started in 2011. Back in 2008 is when I started filming cars as a car salesman to give people a better way to see a new or used vehicle. Over the years I ended up selling over 450 vehicles from doing videos. Today 1000's of vehicles have sold from people watching my car reviews in America.

Tahoe was the trim package, and the fullsize trucks had trim packages like Cheyenne, Scottsdale, and Silverado. I had an 1988 S-10 and it was a base model with a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder and a 5 speed manual. I loved that truck and it ran great.

I bought one exactly like the one you described today (7/24/19). Also, It cranks really good, won't start, and has no spark. Do you know what's wrong with it?

I live in NC and in the rural parts, every other home you see someone owns a little truck from late 80s early 90s. Whether it be a Mitsubishi, Toyota, Mazda, Chevy, GMC, Ford, etc. Those trucks during that period of time were made to last in general. I own a 91 S10 but the ones that really catch my eye everytime I see one are the 90s Mazda B series Trucks

I got a 1986 Chevy s10 with a 2.8 v6 engine and it runs like new. Little rust here and there but hey it's a 30+ year old pick up. I love these kind of little trucks they were built to last 💪.

That has the 4.3! I had an 89 GMC with a 4.3 and it always ran. 3:42 gears, limited slip, 2WD just like this except all blue with a grey area at the bottom. Strong engine

So I have a killer 1988 Chevy S10 which I won at at Oakland A's game! Original owner, and it's the only truck I'll ever own. Fire engine Red, short bed, standard cab, with the Tahoe trim package. I've kept it completely "stock restored", no modifications except a Flowmaster muffler with dualies straight out the back. I'm a school teacher and it's my daily driver. I think it's the true mini size than makes it such a looker, like a small dog that's still a real dog! Cheap parts, runs great, sounds great, looks great. Thanks for posting this cool review...

1987 Gmc S-15 Rwd 2.8l with 221493. Body is straight small dent right fender interior is excellent shape it needs the throttle body rebuilt but she still runs very good.
I'm the 2nd owner and when I bought it, the original owner gave me all of the receipts for any work done on it.
A guy offered me $5k for it because it's so well kept and clean.
Told him I'm not interested in selling her! I've only seen 4 other S-15's these are rare!

Just today I bought a red and black 1985 S-10 extended cab with the Tahoe package. The interior needs lots of TLC but the body is straight and the transmission and 2.8 engine are top-notch. As of tomorrow, its going to be my new daily driver. Great to read all of the positive comments and experiences with this particular Chevy.

I got a 1988 S10 my dad bought brand new. 2.5 4 Cylinder 5 speed. Dad drove it back and forth to work at the GM Corvette Plant many years. No rust, no wrecks. I had it repainted red again with clear coat and had the engine rebuilt. Looks brand new again and it’s my daily driver. I get approached all the time by people wanting to buy it. I’ve turned down 20k…twice. It’s a nice little truck but damn that’s a lot of money! Amazes me people would want one so badly. But sorry it just isn’t for sale

Absolutely love the s10 trucks . My first vehicle ever was the first they came out -1982 Chevy S10 sport with electric windows center console and I'm not sure but I'm sure somewhere down the line someone added a pop up sun roof i don't think that's part of the sport back then but either way It's kinda cool. I still have today over time some people vandalized it when it sat for while cause the tranny went out . But I kept it and it's about be my main driver again . That truck is awesome.

Back in 2014, I bought a 91 Chevy S10 for less than a thousand dollars. I put some money into it. The mileage at that time was over 600,000, but the guy told me the engine got rebuilt about 100,000 miles earlier. Well, the glove box did not work and rear view mirror fell out. I just reattached the mirror with some epoxy and the air conditioner doesn't work, but it is a reliable vehicle. I will probably keep it until I die.

I have a 1985 s10 Tahoe 2.8 L, 4 speed automatic transmission. Extended cab with power windows and power locks. I have never been sure about why it says Tahoe. It just does. Someone said to me, it’s because it was the top of the line edition. They said because it was more like a family car than a work truck. The extended cab has two foldable seats in the back, and two front bucket seats.

They made vehicles a lot simpler back then. I have a daily driver 1985 Nissan/Datsun 720 4x4. Things were just made simple back then although I wish I had a S-10 or Ranger as parts are easier to find. Finfding parts can be a real pain with a 720 Nissan. I owned as a teenager a 1987 S-10 and they were well made trucks for the time. Ford and Chevy made capable small trucks.
