In this video you share so much information about very important topic that many people died and they don't know the have it. It is Inflammation, which is everyone should be concern about. Thank Mary very much, for all the helpful information.👍

@@conniemagnuson2013There is now a connection between parasites and c@ncer. Ivermectin is a parasite killer but hard on the liver. You have to do one week of taking it then the next week a break in a rotational basis. Also, there is also others that have c@ncer and do water fasting to shrink it. There is a bunch of great information here on YT and what others have done.
Just an FYI my friend. If you go carnivore, you won't need any of these concoctions, and by the way, they never did anything for me anyway. Maybe for some it works, but not me. I went carnivore, finally dropped all my weight, my inflammatory marker CRP went to rock bottom finally within 2 months, insulin finally going down. The root cause of all disease is Insulin. It produces cancer growth and also feeds it. Get your fasting Insulin and AIC done. Your fasting Insulin should be under 10, and even preferably under 5. A1C of 5.7 is prediabetes, you want to be far away from that number. Glycation happens at 5.7% . I didn't even realize that my "healthy" diet was killing me all these years, I was nearly in a wheelchair. I was on a paleo diet of lots of fruit and vegetables, sweet potatos, plantains and some meat and eggs, a little liver each week. I was grain-free already. Then I found Dr. Berry, and everything he said made sense to me, I followed his guidelines. I couldn't believe the amount of oxalate dumping that began. Just removing vegetables for me was an automatic 15 lb weightloss. They were inflaming me that much. Now I am almost 40 lbs down, and my edema is going away. Dr. Berry said that edema, fatty liver, and increased inflammation is all due to Insulin. The cure? You either go carnivore or like the Insulin King Dr. Bikman says... a 16 hour intermittent fasting of 2 meals per day in combination of controlled carbohydrates preferably under 50 will bring your insulin down. It takes time, insulin is very slow to decrease, but it will go down. I had no idea that my fruit intake was keeping my insulin levels high, I was eating about 3-4 fruits per day which I didn't think was much. Once I cut it down to almost nothing, massive changes, and I am finally healing my thyroid, I have been able to reduce my thyroid hormone by half so far. It's all positive stuff. Join the community and you'll get a ton of support. Dr. Berry does LIVE Q& A every week on Mondays and Fridays, you can ask him anything, he'll guide you. I have saved so much on grocery and life is so much more simple. It's not restrictive at all either, eggs, whole fat dairy and butter, pork, chicken, beef, and seafood, tallow, doesn't get better than that. God bless you.
thank you for this. Just love the way you explain things. i had tried both kinds of Kefir but managed to kill my grains by overfeeding. Been a bit scared to try again. Also, here in England (and some places in Africa) we can buy ROOIBOS or Redbush tea. it also claims to have anti oxidant properties. it is caffeine free.
Dear Mary I ordered the stinky mellow tea in capsule because I am not a tea person and thanks to your advice. I am sleeping like a baby. I just order your cookbook and I love it. I hesitate in ordering sooner because in the past, I order cookbooks and never use it but this one I’m definitely using thank you so much, Jesus, bless you
These are all so amazing! Thank you, Mary. The only one I hadn’t hear about was the last one. But bromalain makes me anaphylactic. Sad, eh? It’s the part of the pineapple that makes it a superfood and it’s liable to kill me. It’s also the part of the pineapple that emits the aroma of the pineapple. I know this because I still suffer three days after a pineapple has been somewhere. 🥺 Thus I only trust my own kitchen. We also don’t have avocado oil in this house because my mom is anaphylactic to avocado. I almost lost her once and I don’t want to come that close for a long time to come. She’s 9 years younger than her mom. So I’m counting on that. But my Nana had a stoke at 89. I intend to leave that affliction out of my mom’s suffering also.
Hi Mary, this is such a great video and timely too. I was just researching anti-inflammatory foods because inflammation can be a culprit for hair loss, which I am dealing with I love all the added benefits of these drinks as well. I'm not sure if you know the answer to this or not but I was wondering how people with acid re-flux react to some of these drinks? Will it aggravate it, or maybe it would help that? If you know the answer I sure would appreciate to know. Thank you Mary, I have your cookbook and have made so many of your wonderful recipes. Fondly, Maggie
I use stinging nettle to treat joint pain (I actually sting the affected joint. Works well). Tepache has never worked out for me. It ALWAYS tastes like bug spray.
Stinging nettle certainly is delicious. Even better than spinach. Oxalate can be dealt with by prebiotic, as explained by Dr. William Davis in his book SUPER GUT. ❤
I’m a retired RN. I worked with a physician in a rural health clinic for 8 years, with him being my primary care provider for about 15 years prior to that. I was forever teaching him about natural treatments!😂 After getting him to use a natural remedy for a problem he was personally having, he was finally won over! He had no problem with me suggesting natural/herbal treatments to ‘try’ with the pharmaceutical prescriptions he gave , while in the room with the patients, after that!😂😊❤ After all, I believe everything we need to help our bodies maintain homeostasis is here on the Earth. There’s a reason native peoples use/used the natural treatments they do, long before the medical, licensed communities came along!❤🙏😇
Great job Mary, just a caution, I’ve become aware of Oxylates in spices and vegetables, I was dosing large amounts of fresh squeezed ginger brewed into tea, it caused oxylate stones in my waste, sorry to be gross, but this led me on a journey to eliminate all oxylates and since such a major reduction, I’ve been able to calm down my whole body inflammation, also my diet is proper human diet now, not the SAD diet anymore. ( Standard American Diet) and absolutely no meds, only essential vitamins and mineral..plenty of water,
Maybe you didn't include kombucha or kefir because they aren't among the most surprising, or even surprising at all! They make a big difference in pain in my bad knee. Thanks for a good video.
Thanks. I have some tumeric that i bought for cooking but i dont use it very much as i find it bitter. Youve given me inspiration on useful ways i can use it. I didnt know you were supposed to mix it with a fat, so ive been using it wrong this whole time. I shouod be adding it at the beginning when i mix the flour and butter together rather than after. I was treating it as a spice you toast like cinnimon. I once bought tuneric honey that i absolutely loved but i could never find it adter. I used it in a lot of tea. Now i have a better idea how to properly nake that kind of tea.
I am from Poland, after Chernobyl explosion, I remember my mom would force us to drink a shot of stinging nettle juice every morning for months. My granny would collect stinging nettle in her village and make juice for her grandkids.
Fantastic video... very informative! Thank you! (FYI... there is a typo (found at timestamp 8:19) at the end of Drink 2.) Love the work you do! I love you doing your research on these videos .
You could, not sure how great it would taste. Doesn't hurt to try. I use it in regular cooking all the time. It's really good in soups. You could pretty much put it in just about anything savory you cook though.
That’s one reason I’m doing the pineapple drink over the teas. It’s good to have options! I take b complex and drink a little tea already and am reducing dairy exposure too. It sure is complicated to stay healthy, lol.
Hi I sent you an email but noticed it say you don’t respond to all but I have a question about the yogurt the doctor made that you made with half and half at 100 degrees for 36 hours. My yogurt now after maybe 10 times is getting more liquid. HELP. Should i start over? Thanks
Be sure to add organic inulin powder. You have to work to dissolve it with a little half and half. Another thing that helps me is to use 2 T of the whey instead of the curds in the quart of half and half. 36 hours at 100°F for L. Reuteri. The book is Super GUT by Dr. William Davis. Good luck!
@@cynthiadavis3102 thank you so much it happens every 3rd I’ll try the whey this next time. I got the book I even started over and it still did it the third time. Yea I did too add the inulin. Really appreciate you helping
@normanelson233 thanks for replying, Norma. What kind of yogurt maker are you using? I wash all my equipment twice with hot, soapy water. I was careless with one batch, and it was terrible. I had to toss it. I have a LynTorin, which I bought because it was the cheapest. It has 9 little glass cups and it is a pain to wash. But it makes nice, solid yogurt. What type of yogurt maker do you use?
@@cynthiadavis3102 I bought a instant pot that does sous vide and you can set the temperature I only use it to make my yogurt and m like you only wash it with hot water and soap because I read that the dishwasher leaves a film. I have it set for 100 for 36 hours.
I like you very much, Mary, but you are not a doctor or even a herbalist. When you recommend some things, like Stinging Nettle has a number of 'contraindications' -- such as pregnant women should not take and such as Stinging Nettle can cause problems with diabetics. And that's not all. People need to do research before drinking this tea.
I understand completely. In my videos on these subjects, I always state that I am not a medical professional of any kind and that is why I provide lots of research in my accompanying blog post: marysnest.com/5-most-surprising-anti-inflammatory-drinks/ And I also always provide a disclaimer about talking with your medical professional before using any herbs, etc. Hope this helps. Love, Mary
@@MarysNest It doesn't. Because most viewers aren't going to do their own research, and they aren't going to talk to their doctors. Not to mention that the vast majority of MDs, PAs, and CNPS don't know anything about herbs, teas, etc. As I said, I love you and what you do -- and I really do -- but not in instances like this one.
@@FrancesRobinson-yn2ks everyone has to make their own choice to do their research and not hold a RUclipsr responsible for their lack of research for themselves. She states the disclaimer that she is not a doctor etc… so that relieves her of any disillusionment someone may feel about the content.
Thanks Mary for the info of using a fat and pepper with tumeric. I did not know that and will be using them together from now on. This whole video was very informative and much appreciated. 😊
my guess would be to find out where it came from. but i would scrub it first. I do that for all my vege - well root ones, wash for others, even though they are organic. Here in england you can get a vege rinse that takes most of the nasties out of the skins.

I have no words to thank you for all your precious information God bless you ❤
Please make a canning 101 guide video or canning from start to finish !!! I would love to see it!!
I love pineapple cores.. always when it's nice and ripe.
Thank you so much. We are learning a lot from you. I'm sharing with all my friends and family ❤
Thanks for sharing. I love lemon ginger water kefir.
Thank you SO MUCH! you're so thorough and organized. you're awesome!
You are such a gem Mary, thank you for this series and this type of content in general. I appreciate you!!
thank you for this.
I hesitate in ordering sooner because in the past, I order cookbooks and never use it but this one I’m definitely using thank you so much, Jesus, bless you
I love Mountain Rose herbs for my herbs. I buy in bulk.
I order from them also, all my spices and pepper powders, great nite tea “Fidnemed Nighttime Tea”
I used to put a sprig of peppermint and it made to more pleasant for me a sprig per quart of tea
I drink back tea with honey every morning
Tha very helpfull Mary thank you so much God bless with your family
That was amazing info! Thank you!
How clean is the rind of a pineapple? How do you know what it was sprayed with?
Thank you for this information sweet Mary. I love seeing your religious statues on your counter.
Thus I only trust my own kitchen.
Can you use the peach mix with the water kefir as well?? I'm so glad that I clicked on this video. Thank you Mary!!
I use stinging nettle to treat joint pain (I actually sting the affected joint. Works well). Tepache has never worked out for me. It ALWAYS tastes like bug spray.
Oh no! But glad to hear that the stinging nettle works! :-)
I have heard of this use of stinging nettle.
My husband and I are enjoying the golden milk. We’re drinking it every day. Is that too much?
Very nice !Thanks!
🎉Good morning! Have a bless day
Same to you!
Really great information, Mary. Have a blessed week!
What do you think about pesticides in pineapple rind?
Mary your videos are amazing! I learn so much. These are things that should be taught in school!
Stinging nettle has a good flavor.
Stinging nettle certainly is delicious. Even better than spinach. Oxalate can be dealt with by prebiotic, as explained by Dr. William Davis in his book SUPER GUT. ❤
There is no point in discussing w your doctor. They know nothing of nutrition. Moreover, they tend to dismiss the power of nutrition to heal.
I actually got lucky my doctor believes in nutrition.
They just have to say that
Great job Mary, just a caution, I’ve become aware of Oxylates in spices and vegetables, I was dosing large amounts of fresh squeezed ginger brewed into tea, it caused oxylate stones in my waste, sorry to be gross, but this led me on a journey to eliminate all oxylates and since such a major reduction, I’ve been able to calm down my whole body inflammation, also my diet is proper human diet now, not the SAD diet anymore. ( Standard American Diet) and absolutely no meds, only essential vitamins and mineral..plenty of water,
Great point!! Yes, it’s important to always be aware of oxalates. Especially once you learn you have a sensitivity to them!! 🤗
I pronounced calendula that way too! I was so confused when I heard it said in a health store for the first time 😂
Thank you Mary
Thank you ma’am ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤much love to you and your family ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Can you ferment tart cherry juice with a ginger bug instead of the water kefir?
Sounds yummy. It should work if there is enough sugar in the juice. Try it.
Maybe you didn't include kombucha or kefir because they aren't among the most surprising, or even surprising at all! They make a big difference in pain in my bad knee. Thanks for a good video.
Yes, it's because they are more common and I have done lots of videos about both of them in the past. But yes, they are great! Love, Mary
Thank you!
Pickled Water melon rind is a favorite?
Mary does black tea include Tetley and Lipton?
I am from Poland, after Chernobyl explosion, I remember my mom would force us to drink a shot of stinging nettle juice every morning for months. My granny would collect stinging nettle in her village and make juice for her grandkids.
Fantastic video... very informative! Thank you! (FYI... there is a typo (found at timestamp 8:19) at the end of Drink 2.) Love the work you do! I love you doing your research on these videos
.
Could you put stinging nettle powder in your yoghurt?
You could, not sure how great it would taste. Doesn't hurt to try. I use it in regular cooking all the time. It's really good in soups. You could pretty much put it in just about anything savory you cook though.
Not a sweet yougurt😝... Maybe a bitter yogurt🤭... it's probably not going to be-- what you are thinking. Nettle is an intence flavor.
amazing content xx love from london
Thank you.
The turmeric tea and three little bottles, and it will not let me check out what’s up with that?
Excellent
That’s one reason I’m doing the pineapple drink over the teas. It’s good to have options! I take b complex and drink a little tea already and am reducing dairy exposure too. It sure is complicated to stay healthy, lol.
Make lactobacillus reuteri, 36 hour ferment. Dr William Davis in his book SUPER GUT tells how to do this.
Question: “Tepache” is fermented to how many days (7-12 like kombucha?), also cane sugar ratio as for kombucha (1 cup per gallon)?
Yes, I use a gallon of water, 3 tablespoons of loose tea, and a cup of sugar. SCOBY on top. 3-7 days in dark, 72°F. Taste with a,straw.
She is very upfront about not being a doctor. Enough said for the mature adult.
I don't understand what you are implying.
Ty as always!
I wish I could make these ferments. I cannot have carbonation/sparkling drinks. Does anyone know how”fizzy” they are? Can I let it go “flat”?
Don't worry at all. They go flat quite quickly. Love, Mary
@@MarysNest very good to know!! Thanks!
What a wonderful video!
Food as Medicine 🫖🍽️
Stinging nettle tea, black tea, water kefir, turmeric milk and tepeche
What is white tea?
What other ingredients are on the label of the Krfir? I bet theres sugar or preservatives.
Not the brands I showed. They are just made with milk and kefir cultures. Love, Mary
No preservatives
Where do you get your milk?
@@cynthiadavis3102 I did try a yogurt maker but I must of did something wrong so I just sent it back and got the insta pot
Good morning ☀️
Good morning!
They aren’t taught anything about diet/nutrition in med school. Pharmaceutical companies don’t make any $$$ off of it!😢😡
@MARY'SNEST Can you point me to a trusted source to get some kefir grains and SCOBY?
I just bought some water kefir grains from Florida sun kefir from Amazon. They've worked great, been making it as much as possible for the past month.
Maybe Cutting Edge Cultures?
@@cynthiadavis3102 thank you
What about purple dead nettle instead
A totally different herb.
@cynthiadavis3102 yes but it's a very good antihistamine
Grand Rising
Thank you, we have lost knowledge.
❤❤❤ hi Mary
❤
Stinging nettle does not taste good! A sweetner will not help.
I love pairing it with peppermint as a tea, they compliment each other well.
I enjoy stinging nettle tea with a bit of honey. Taste is very mild.
Disagree. Stinging nettle is delicious to me.
Again a sweetener does not help (me), for others like me try a barley Miso, mellos that nettle bite.
Most people that are interested in the subject will be reading or have read about it as they are purchasing the products.
wlics the same thing of you are you a doctor
@@FrancesRobinson-yn2ks everyone has to make their own choice to do their research and not hold a RUclipsr responsible for their lack of research for themselves. She states the disclaimer that she is not a doctor etc… so that relieves her of any disillusionment someone may feel about the content.
Thanks Mary for the info of using a fat and pepper with tumeric. I did not know that and will be using them together from now on. This whole video was very informative and much appreciated. 😊
Thank you.
How clean is the rind of a pineapple? How do you know what it was sprayed with?
my guess would be to find out where it came from. but i would scrub it first. I do that for all my vege - well root ones, wash for others, even though they are organic. Here in england you can get a vege rinse that takes most of the nasties out of the skins.
Buy organic pineapple and soak the rind in water with apple cider vinegar for about 10 minutes. Scrub and rinse.
Buy organic.
