I would say Mr. Cobra fits his collection well. What a cool guy. He definitely gets it! "I will start it if you have a minute"...Are you kidding? I will wait here all year just to hear that!...
My calculator does not have enough zeros to figure the value of this collection of originals! Always wanted one of these since I was a lad in school in England in 1962, when I read a road test in Autocar of the 289 Cobra. I finally got something similar 30 years later in 1992 when I completed the build of a replica with a warmed-up Ford 302 Windsor V8. Even with that lower power the thing went like smoke. I used it as my daily driver for the next 10 years and loved every minute! It's driving Jim, but not as most know it!
Thank you Sir for sharing your cars with us. I'll be 70 in a few weeks and have wanted one since I was a teenager. There was a guy I barely knew, Johnny Yaun, had a silver one with a 289 and it was my dream from the moment I saw it. Later his dad bought him a red 427 and I was really envious. I never could afford one, but this video brought me back to my teen years...Thank You!
It is never too late mate. Hope you are well and still striving to own one? or at least go for a spin in one... My heart beats like the time I saw the first girl I had a crush on except the heart beats with longer duration and intensity.. My pupils dilate every time I see a Cobra.
This video is just brilliant. Thank you Lynn “Mr. Cobra” Park for your service, both for our country and our history of these beautiful mobile pieces of art.
***** Where is this guy! I would love to meet him! I have a BackDraft Cobra! It was used by Norman Reedus of "Walking Dead" for a GQ photo shoot in NYC and Taylor Swift used my Cobra for her video "Blank Space" Much Respect to this man! Maybe I will drive my Cobra to his shop! Awesome Video!!!
I'm a proud owner of a Triumph Spitfire, so it is hard to see me as a muscle car guy...😂 But I love all the 75 HP's of her engine!... I love cars! Indeed!
Awesome interview of a true enthusiast, nicely done. Lynn Park is a real gentleman and I love how willing he is to share his passion. The only thing that could make this video better is another hour. Great job and thanks for posting.
So glad that a little English sports car could become this icon, the English and Americans have always been at our best when we work together, just like the GT40 was originally built in England and developed in the US with Ken Miles doing the most important development driving, Ken was a Brummie (Birmingham UK) from just down the road from me. So I love this car and it became iconic because a Texan, Caroll Shelby, decided to show what he could do, the rest is history
I was fortunate enough to have many of the Shelby Mustangs and Cobras when i was younger. Most of my close friends also had them and yes we use to tear up the roads and anyone who tried to race us. Surprisingly enough and by the grace of God we all survived. Great times, great fun and great memories.
I find myself smiling everytime you guys and gals create these documentaries. The last few months you all have impressed me on so many levels! Where you find these gear heads at is beyond me. But please keep finding, interviewing, and sharing their stories with all of us. Thank you!
That collection of Ac Cobras would be much more of a learning experience than any large spotless car museum. All the atmosphere and smells of the originals would permeate the air. Simply amazing. I have a DRB Ac Cobra replica and am always looking at and admiring other Cobras. Think I might look seriously in upgrading now!
Mr. Cobra is a real car guy. "If you got a minute I'll start it up for you." Most of us car guys would be begging to hear it and here he is open handed. 👍🏻🏁 You are the real hero sir.
Such history. Such a great video. Such passion. I've always LOVED cars of all kinds but never focused on ONE make so much to devote my life to. That's why I admire this man so much.
Wow, great story. The 427 Cobra was my dream car since childhood, been fixing cars since about '76. Bought, built and sold hundreds since. Fixing cars has been my living for 44 years now, fixing them right. Self employed for the last 18. But never got close to one except at car shows. I've restored many different rare cars, like a '56 Jaguar Mark 5 that had been parked for 30 years. Gotta admire a man that can grab that dream life and hang on. Great story, thanks.
Absolutely a beautiful and timeless collection. Listening to your story was incredible. Thank you for preserving that moment of history. My 6 year old boys name is Shelby and since he was 3 or 4 he has known what he was named after and has been able to identify a Cobra in an instant. Our whole family of 7 love the Cobra.
'Some people come home after a bad day and kick the cat. I just start the car' It's amazing what the sound of a burly V8 on start up can do for the soul ;)
The love this gentlemen has for his car the "Cobra" is wonderful to hear, I thank you Mr. Cobra for your dedication for your Shelby Cobra's. "Run Baby Run"
LOVE this. Awesome video. Cobra and the corvette are my favorite cars of all time. And to see and hear all the stories and everything makes it even better! :)
I just want one. Please? Just one? 😂 I have some serious respect for this man, what an incredible collection. Someday I'll own a replica, there is no car out there quite like a Cobra.
Thank you Mr. Lynn Park for the great moments you have shared with us all. Would be a very happy man if I manage to build one shiny Factory 5 replica one day, so can't really imagine what is the feeling on your side. I bet it is great, keep enjoying it like til now.
Lynn what a great video! I want to thank you again that we, with our ante Ella, were welcome to see your collection of one of the most beautiful cars ever made! We all loved it and the kids are still talking about it. It's great to see what passion you have and put into these cars, very impressive! Thanks again and greetings from the Netherlands. I hope to see you again in the near future. Madhu & Patrick and the kids Manoj, Rajan and Jane.
The value of all these cars makes my head spin. God forbid if faulty wiring on one of those 50+ yr old cars caused a fire or theft. I'd have to sleep in that garage (with a shotgun) to make sure they were all safe.
***** I store 30 cars from this era. I empty their fuel tanks & lines. I use ground straps to keep static electricity at bay. I also have a fire suppression system. I know of many cars that have burned down owner's garages & homes with cars that had disconnects.
WOW thank you endless this is even greater than most movies to me i am so happy this Lynn exist and when i listen to this sensible Music i just produce most times tears no matter if i want or not thank you endless for this great Reportage!!!!!
@LynnPark Mr.Cobra I applaud/admire you. Not just because of what you have. More so because of the way you are. The stories you've got, The places you've been, the people and places you've met and been. The way you display your beautiful cars, all your pictures and there stories. We all wish we had one of your cars, one of your stories. did I already say one of your cars? (: Seriously tho, Thank you for sharing a part of your life, which is, in part, part of American automotive history. Most of us watching will never know what it's like to open the door, sit in, what it feels like to turn the key & feel in our back the Pistons smashing the fuel and air together, the explosion when the spark lights it all off. Congratulations on a life some of us dream of... Thank you for sharing your story...
When I was a kid in the 70’s I went to see the movie “The Gumball Rally”. Seeing that beautiful Shelby S/C 427 on the big screen started my lifelong love affair with Cobras
The Shelby Cobra is the A++ of all cars in my eyes, I am a man who rides his '92 FXDC Dyna Harley on weekends and to work as his a-b commuter (I got no car) I drive for a living for work from Vans, Forklifts up to Heavy Rigid trucks and plan to go beyond to Heavy Combination and beyond to road train licences here in Australia on Multi Combination licence.... I love being on the road there is something about moving down the road and seeing the world pass me by that makes me smile... I live for being on the road in so many ways and this guy is one man who I feel knows about that feeling... What a guy and what a collection... The Cobra is my to own car oneday.... Superformance is on my list of potential importers to Sydney, Australia here. a nice 427 will do me.
God Bless you Lynn. Mr. Shelby has always been my hero. Now you are too. Gorgeous collection. Thanks for doing this awesome video. I have always wanted a Cobra. At 43, I still have time..hahahaha. I'd be happy with a replica, of course. RIP C.S. Thank you Xcarfilms.
This guy is very cool--a real car guy and a rather down to earth human being. A great balance of the two and look at all the richness it has helped to accomplish...! Some people just get it and you can't help but like and admire them.
Sometimes I look at my car build and think, am I wasting my time, my money my life here..... ....no, I am living it. Sometime you just have to do it or else what is it all worth.

Awesome video that brought a tear to my eye! Thanks!
Wow and awesome are the words that come to mind. All that history in one room. Its great to see such love and devotion. I also love hearing he drives the cars. So many people lock away and never drive their cars. I got goosebumps when he started the car at the end. Such a awesome sound.
I wish the US would take racing on the world stage seriously again. Tuning at the Nurburgring is a step in the right direction. But I think race fans need to see a Ford powered F1 car again. Hearing things like "benchmark of American performance" is sort of depressing. Because these days, a used Cayman S for 30-40 grand is, over all, better than any American sports car. By a long long way. At least we have the Vette teams bearing our torch in the GT classes.
A Cayman S is NOT really better than all American sports cars. If all you look at is GM, FORD, and CHRYSLER, then it is not better than any of them. They are in a different league altogether. What's more there are other companies to look at, that I wish did more to make themselves known, like Panoz, Rossion/Molser, SSC, Lucra, Mach 7, to name few. When most people, who think they know, say "American sports cars suck", or some variation, they are usually talking about luxury appointments. Most European sports cars are really either "luxury cars that happen to be fast" or "sports cars that day-jobs as luxury cars". If you are looking at this on those terms, then your aren't looking at whether the car is a good, forget great, sports car. You aren't looking at it as a sports car at all. It is just something you wish you had absurd amounts of money to throw at or some DLC for your game. Something to fawn over and stake an unhealthy amount of personal self-worth into. Until you have driven one you really don't know, and playing "Gran Turismo" or "Forza" does not count. Some cars are/were unashamed of requiring a master rather than some poseur with more money than skills or brains. If price did not make them exclusive, then requiring one to actually have the ability to drive it fast has been and continues to be a bar a lot of poseurs cry sour grapes over. I won't make excuses for questionable interiors. That was always something everyone, even their fans, always wanted fixed in the Corvette and Viper. But sitting there trying to feign honesty in expected the same overall experience in a $60K car as a $120K car is just foolishness. On top of that, with so many cars being so much alike, in any given segment, that it almost makes no difference which you buy, Sports cars that are as different from each other as your left hand is from your right is very much appriacated.
DocWolph Nice rant you got there. But you didn't name a single contender that can stand up to the build quality, reliability and overall driving feel of a Cayman S, for the same money. And yes, I've actually driven one! Not that it matters. I'm a random person on the internet. I might as well be lying.
SpaceManDawn *Long is long. But have you driven anything else? If you ate a piece of moldy bread and never bothered to try the fresh bread, how would you know if the fresh bread was better? Even if someone told you, you still would not know. You would only know what they told you, and people can lie, exaggerate, or just tell it wrong. Next stipulating "used" is you avoiding the fact the car costs a LOT more. After all, a Cayman S starts for $64K, with options can easily cap $100K. And you know utterly no one gets one without at least a few options. So you are talking about $70K already. And were do the used cars come from? Someone has to pay full price first, right? So stipulating "used car' is trying to duck the issue: "You paid more it better be better." It cost more new. But is it actually better? Also you did name, call out, competitors just say "any American sports car". You named them ALL. Next "Quality" comes under three criteria:The Materials used, the manufacture of the parts, and the assembly of those parts. Unless you can quantify all three, which then comes under their own criteria, you can not rightly claim "better build quality" and not know why or why not. Again "You paid more it better be better". But even then the actual price will dictate just how far the mix of quality criteria and qualities over all will go. If a Lamborghini had to price in as much as a Corvette, it would be a very similar car overall, in terms of material, manufacture, and assembly. There are other factors such as the underlying business machine that got the car built, what they were going for, and so on. A rant would be just some incohernet diatribe. To call a well thought out and written comment, however long (it is not a college paper for a grade. So, I'm not trying that hard.) a "rant" points to either 1) you know I'm right and you got called for your foibles and do NOT want to admit it and/or 2) you are just too mentally lazy to comprehend what you read. Yes, some people will pretend to or actiually ignore the meaning of what they read to try to play it off as "Oh you, silly." I would simply refer to your comments as slipshod efforts to dodge answers to questions you asked, whether intentionally asked or not. Anticipation. A troll's worst enemy because the other guy covered the bases first. Stop. Just let it go. Could have been one and done, but you had to say something. Just let it go.
SpaceManDawn I've said all I needed to say. Maybe I do have Asperger's, But I doubt it. When I have something to say I say it. Sorry if I made you feel small and otherwise ineffectual. I do that a lot. Also, I'm not going to read your comment. It will be mostly noise trying to change the subject, like I have not seen that before, and I have other things that need doing. So, I'll leave you feeling like you "won" something. Some of us know when to call it quits. Good-bye.
That was great. I've always dreamed of owning a nice Cobra. I test drove a Superformance Cobra. Oddly enough I didn't like it. It had a Tremec 5-speed in it. I think I would prefer a 4-speed. Eventually I have learned not all Cobras are created equal. I think if I ever could afford one, I would like a sweet one. The car I drove beat me up and I thought it was unmanageable. So someday if I ever could have a nice one, I would want one that was unmolested. Thank you for sharing
LOVE IT.. My favourite car ever.. I was doing models of these when I was a kid. On my bucket list. To get a ride in an original one. One lucky man to have so many..
One of the best car stories, about one of the most knowledgeable men besides Carroll Shelby about the legendary Cobra. Someone needs to make a movie about this guy and have it permanently shown in the Peterson/HotRod museum. Just all the stories and memorabilia besides the wonderful Cobras, I think my favorite one was the 'Dirtball' one. I can indentify with that one the most. Neglected most my life until I met my wife, and she loves me just as I am, shambles and all. God Bless Lynn, and thank the producers who made this incredible video. Kimono skunk < 1 Corinthians 15:1-4
Thanks for this, great video listening to someone who knows the cars inside out and also the people that brought the car to the markets and tracks around the world. More like this please!
That's a passion! A greatest thing in the world! Although I'm not so old, that a thing that youngster with their smartphones, electric vehicle and autonomous driving will never get - too pity, they have nothing to live for!
I would say Mr. Cobra fits his collection well. What a cool guy. He definitely gets it!
"I will start it if you have a minute"...Are you kidding? I will wait here all year just to hear that!...
For me, the Shelby Cobra still stands as the most beautiful car ever made.
E Type has to be up there
250 GTO
250 testarossa
FYI - Its the AC cobra.
A C Bristol / Cobra
My calculator does not have enough zeros to figure the value of this collection of originals!
Always wanted one of these since I was a lad in school in England in 1962, when I read a road test in Autocar of the 289 Cobra. I finally got something similar 30 years later in 1992 when I completed the build of a replica with a warmed-up Ford 302 Windsor V8.
Even with that lower power the thing went like smoke. I used it as my daily driver for the next 10 years and loved every minute!
It's driving Jim, but not as most know it!
"Some people, if they're having a bad day, go home and kick the cat. I just go out and start the car." Love it!
I love my cat and my cobra . Had the cobra twenty eight years and can't get tired of it .
I can't catch my cat. He's too fast for me.
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. Documentaries like these bring tears to my eyes. Simple and pure. Thank you.

Im crying right now, sobbing. Like a baby. Am I...an idiot? Yes.
The car that will always be in my dream cars list...
You can feel and see the passion in Mr Park! This is what makes us alive!!!
Tks Lynn!
I'm a proud owner of a Triumph Spitfire, so it is hard to see me as a muscle car guy...😂
But I love all the 75 HP's of her engine!...
This man will be a legend himself in the future I hope his family continues his work
This channel deserves so much more recognition, Great stuff guys
Some people have this life thing figured out...
"Some people having a bad day go home and kick the cat, I just got to start the car" That, was all I needed to hear.
When I go to the US, I'm going to look this guy up!!! Great stuff
Somehow, only being able to hit the thumbs up once on this is just not enough. Great interview, outstanding collection. Thanks for posting.
Much appreciated! Glad you enjoyed the film ☺️

Gosh I watch this everyday with my headphones.... Just the sheer passion in his voice is amazing
Still watching 7 years later to hear him fire up that dragon snake

Car documentaries don't get much better than this one, great work!
What a great interview. Likeable guy, great stories, good footage.
I got goosebumps towards the end when the camera pans around all the pictures and then as he started it! amazing stuff!
'Some people come home after a bad day and kick the cat. I just start the car' It's amazing what the sound of a burly V8 on start up can do for the soul ;)
Possibly the best I've seen from carfection , and i also had my fix when he started that car at the end
Having just bought a used factory five roadster with a 429 in it i just loved watching this film of Lynn Park. Thanks so much you guys.
I clicked this video hoping for some buried footage of an interview with Carroll Shelby. I definitely wasn't disappointed.
Mr. Cobra pretty much, said it all. This video was a pure pleasure to watch. This is history and treasure.

That was AWSOME! ALL original Cobras.
I have a replica in the garage. 1/12th scale but hey, you gotta start somewhere.
Thank you Mr. Lynn Park for the great moments you have shared with us all.

Now, that was done well. And to top it off hearing that black shelby at the end start up, should put a smile on any ones face!
What an interesting guy, and i really love the sound at the end
Wonderful interview. Love it when he’s talking about buying and selling and he says ‘some of ‘em I’d keep. I’ve still got a few of them.’ No kidding!
Lynn Park is a great guy and this is a really well shot and edited video that bios him. Well done XCAR.

Nice rant you got there.
Yes, some people will pretend to or actiually ignore the meaning of what they read to try to play it off as "Oh you, silly."
I would simply refer to your comments as slipshod efforts to dodge answers to questions you asked, whether intentionally asked or not. Anticipation. A troll's worst enemy because the other guy covered the bases first.
Stop. Just let it go. Could have been one and done, but you had to say something. Just let it go.

I've said all I needed to say.
Good-bye.
c7 z06 would destroy a cayman
Oh my, that Dragon Snake sounds GREAT!!! What a sound...
Well this is a nice gentleman, and he is absolutely right, that engine sound is amazing. I just love that sound.
My dream car. Most beautiful thing ever built. AND HE HAS THIS MANY? this is amazing
incredible film, this may be your best work yet from a production perspective, the content is killer too
LOVE IT.. My favourite car ever.. I was doing models of these when I was a kid. On my bucket list. To get a ride in an original one. One lucky man to have so many..
Totally cool....love that sound. I've always wanted one. Kudos to Mr. Cobra.
M’y respect to you and the Mecca you have. How can I get my hands on one of these marvels
Mr Cobra "gets it"! He's my kind of car guy! two big thumbs up for him and this video.
Funny how the engine is capable to flex his left arm at 13:25.
Great story! Nice to see a man live his dream.!....and mind! Thank you memories!
I am 14, and I want to be this guy when I grow up
Wow, I'm speechless...Really, this guy and his Cobra's exist? Amazing
That was outstanding - thanks so much for uploading!
Me .. only seeing it in 2021 .. :)
Amazing collection and a seemingly awesome dude.

What a terrific collection of cars. Lynn seems like a stand up guy, way cool!
What a wonderful soul, thank you for sharing your passion with us.
I just bought a Lone Star replica recently in blue with white stripes.
My life is now complete.
Thanks for this, great video listening to someone who knows the cars inside out and also the people that brought the car to the markets and tracks around the world.
More like this please!
The Cobra with the 427 side oiler and a '70 Hemi 'Cuda are my dream cars. Nothing comes close to either of them.
I think ive found my favourite guy ever.
That's a passion! A greatest thing in the world!
Although I'm not so old, that a thing that youngster with their smartphones, electric vehicle and autonomous driving will never get - too pity, they have nothing to live for!
The AC-Cobra 427 2x4 is awesome.
My brother has a GT-500 2012 convertible. Awesome.
Lynn Park: Thank you!
