That's great. Before pandemic, my wife and I frequented this place often. It's kinda hidden as well. Between Guelph and Hamilton. Glad you hade a chance to check it out!
Wow, great walk-thru, such a throwback to my childhood, walking thru the flea market with my Dad, when he was trying to sell his baseball cards, and Mom always liked looking at the antiques...every so often, we'd find some cool toys along the way. Even in the late 80's, there were bins of incomplete GIJoe figures, and MOTU stuff. My childhood Night Raven came from a neighborhood garage sale, it was missing the pilot and cockpit, but was otherwise perfect, and still had the drone. Mom got it for me, for five bucks. Even my NES was second-hand - my brother got it for me, because I'd had so much fun playing his ATARI. When my friend got his Super Ninendo, he sold me a few of his old NES games for just a few dollars. 80's and early 90's were such a great time to be a kid!
Hey!!! A friend sent me this video, I’m the one with the three booths upstairs all in that 1 section with the Sectaurs. I use to do the Kitchener toy shows too when those were a thing. Your going to want to go back in Feb, our booth is going to be 25% off everything
Your best video yet!
My Moms basement , before she died , was a toy land from 1950's 60's . Never got rid of anything .
Just FYI Space Precinct was a British TV show created by Gerry Anderson creator of Thunderbirds, Captain Scarlet and Space 1999 to name a few...😉
Ohhhh man I almost wished that this would never end!
What an awesome trip back down Memory Lane for me!
I turn 49 in August so you know that this was nostalgia slapping me in the face! :)
Thanks for sharing and resurrecting dormant memories man!
That is an awesome tour of the Freelton Antique Mall in Freelton, Ontario, Canada. Seeing all of those vintage toys sure brings back a lot of great memories from my childhood years and many toys that I never knew that existed. It's nice to see that you bought Ninjor, that is one really cool MOTU action figure. Great video Michael, you rock.
This place would be a blast just to get lost in for a few hours. I love how the random items were displayed and the conversation adds to discovering those vintage gems. Thanks for this adventure.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Space Precinct was a Gerry Anderson production...one of the few live-action shows he did, along with Space: 1999.
THAT was the name I was looking for! 🤣
And UFO!
Have you had your best finds walk in your door or have you found them out in the wild? I just opened a shop 3 weeks ago and already had amazing stuff walk in the door 🙂
This place is so cool!!! Thanks for the virtual tour, Mike! Love the video!
Thanks for joining me!
Wow! I love these type of Hunt videos! Awesome stuff Mike and Eric! Thanks for sharing!😁👍

Thanks Stephanie, you as well!
I just found your channel and that was a cool virtual tour. I live in Western PA on the border of Ohio and there's an antique indoor flea market called treasures and Niles Ohio and they've got a couple toy spots in there plus 2 vinyl record dealers that deal with cool vintage vinyl in near-mint condition from Rock to metal. I picked up some vintage Star Wars in there and micro machine Star Wars figures and vehicles in there. I love the thrill of the hunt and digging through cool antiques. Plus it's right near a the Eastwood Mall which is a modern mall so I can hit both places in a matter of minutes. Look forward to seeing more of your content I'm going to check out your Toys R Us virtual tours.
I've been through here a few times. I've never found too much there that I wanted at a reasonable price... but it's worth checking now and then.
Made my way down just on friday there! Boy did i ever have a great time! Thanks brother!
Thanks for covering Freelton! It's my favorite Antique Mall! I was surprised to find this video as I am close by in Hamilton, Ontario. I've not been back since the toy shop moved in and I am excited at the prospect of checking it out. Thanks again. :)
Happy you enjoyed it. If you've never been to the One of a Kind Antique Mall in Woodstock, that's another great place to check out.
Nice video somebody who was a kid when a lot of this was made remember walking into an antique store early 80s had a glass case with a huge vintage star wars collection
Here in Quebec, it called "Marché aux puces" This was a very special trip. Thanks for your walk-thru and your awsome video. Lot of love from Quebec
Wow, that place is amazing. I’m just getting started, so my antique booth is nowhere near that level but I’ve seen what to shoot for now!
So many cool items, but what really caught my attention was the awesome artwork on that 'Big Trouble in Little China' board game!
Wow! Great tour! Thank you! I need to go! Wow so many toys from my childhood. Thank you
🙂
Totally awesomeness. I haven't seen a flea market setup like that since the late 1990's. So much superb Vintage Toy Gold in one place. By the time I can get there.I think all the stuff is going to be sold. I appreciate You and Your Adventures Brother. From Toronto Ontario Canada 😀👍♥️🇨🇦🌎🎉🎉🎉🎉👏👏👏👏🎉🎉🎉💯💯💯💯💯
Thanks Michael! I caught a glimpse of an old Endor Luke that I needed in the video and picked it up today. My kids found since fun stuff too. Much appreciated!
Amazing so many things that I remember seeing in stores as a toddler in the early 80’s.
I love seeing toys and popular tie in products from my childhood. But, its always cool to see the same from even earlier (Charlie McCarthy was a blast to see).
Great video, seen so many toys that I use to have. Makes me want to drive north and rebuy some of them.
When when I first went there it was the first I'd ever heard of that market too, but I found some amazing stuff there
God I want that Snowcat, yellow missles are way better looking than the blue ones on my 2005 Snowcat. That store has a lot of charm.
This place has always been good. Aberfoyle is just north of it and has a great outdoor antique market weekends in the summer. Retrosaurus in hamilton is also a great store.
Acme Superstore in Florida is a must go to whenever I head south... It's been a while... I live in Ottawa... So thanks for this video, I am definitely checking this place out this year.
Damn, I haven't been there in ages! Great place! It's where I found my vintage Moss Man and started my MOTU collection.
Oh Man Michael! I would have sworn you would have known about Freelton. I love going there to look for vintage model kits and Adventure People. Great video good sir.
Thanks Richard!
31:32 is indeed Sir Sean Connery. From the movie A Bridge Too Far from 1977.
Wow very cool place. Awesome.
Awesome place Michael! Thanks for sharing! :)
That was a lot of fun to look through. As Sean can attest, that looks almost EXACTLY like any number of indoor markets we have here in Adelaide where we tend to go rummaging. Even down to the unnecessary amount of Detolf cases!
Cool! Nice to know there's more like it out there.
The Southworks Antique Mall at 73 Water Street N. in Cambridge, Ontario is another great place to go antiquing!
Lived in Kitchener my whole life and never heard of this one. Thanks for the heads up!
What an interesting, fun, and gem of a place. Thanks for the steady camera work and commentary.
I guess you're not a hockey fan.
This place has some obscure stuff! Amazing.
Thank you for making this
That jar jar moment scared me and made me laugh simultaneously
If I went there or drove past that sign, I would never stop thinking it was some kinda placard saying "Free Elton" - as if a dude named Elton had been put in jail unfairly.
Am I crazy? Yes. :)
I’m absolutely blown away by this place. Prices seem reasonable when you adjust to USD. Seems like a lifetime away but Google maps says it’s 6 hours 30 minutes from me. I’m not sure if that takes into account the border crossing but I’m VERY tempted to make a day trip. Maybe stay over in Niagara Falls. Thank you from NJ!!
I love this ! Can u please do more of these videos? Happy New Year Michael ! 😎✌🏼
Thanks! Happy New Year!
I like your toy hunt video and I am also live in Ontario!
Yes! Alf stuff holds up, I second that ☺️
Woah!! Amazing place!
We go at least 3 or 4 times a year for antiques but not so much now because of Covid!
This is a nice lil spot tucked away from the hustle and bustle & clearly has a heap of goodies for the avid collector or just admirer of nostalgic goodness #GreatVidya
Don't you mean captain planet?
Or did i miss the captain power section 😅
Thanks for doing my requeat i suggested few months ago.
Another great video and store!! How far is this from the Wilson Street Ontario store you featured?
That looks like an awesome place!
There is a place near to me that you would love. There’s a old strip mall just south of Louisville KY that has a toy antique mall, a second toy and collectible shop called Elite that is jam packed with stuff and slot car racing area.
You guys were wondering what was at 27:55 that looked like a coughing. It was a Mighty Morphin Power Rangers pink Shogun zord. It could transform into a robot form that folds up into a right arm. In the show it was actually White where the American version they colored it pink. Cool place really want to go there thank you for showing it
You deserve a like and a suscription for such a great video 👍
At 31 min., that Big Trouble in Little China I got. Its in the Legendary Deck Building game, the most popular version is the Marvel which has alot of expansions.....that are still coming out.
The Sean Connery figure is based on his character in the movie A Bridge to Far.
It's an old Formative Soldiers of the World figure, isn't it.
My favorite place ever
This place is my jam. I go once a month for comics.
The owner has great taste
Places like these are full of booths that are rented by different people.
There’s only one place to pay in the whole store though, so how does the cashier know what came from which section?
All of the price tags have a booth number on them. The cashier records the sales so the proper person gets paid. That way the booth renters don't have to be there all the time.
The price tag includes a letter code as well to match the vendor
@@MichaelMercy we mark them with our booth numbers so they enter that into the computer when typing in the prices
Thank you Awesome Find
Awesome toys
Man that place had everything
insane shop i collect REMCO warrior beast/warlord figures i love em and zoloworld toys have continued the greatness.
TOMA TU 👍 ME GUSTO MUCHO LA TIENDA EXCELENTE VIDEO MUY BUENOS PRECIOS SALUDOS DESDE COLOMBIA 🤙🤙🤙
Not a big vintage guy but man it would be cool to just rumage through this place for a few hours. But did see some stuff that I would consider picking up
Awesome
Have you been to Brickyard Antique in Mount brydges ont yet?another cool place!
Hadn't heard of that one. Thanks for the suggestion.
Amazing Place ..
I live in Kitchener and by co-incidence I drive by the Freelton market you showed in this video every day on my way to work in St Catharines. Just wondering I didnt see any but did you come across any Transformers? I am only really interested in vintage G1 figures. Lately Ive been collecting War for Cybertron (which I pretty much have everything MSIB) Studio Series 86 and some Combiner Wars and Power of the Primes basically to fill in G1 characters that we didnt get a version of for War for Cybertron.
Nice mall for sure!
The section upstairs with all the toys is currently 25% off everything. Just hit it up today.
That S Connery army figure is his character from a Bridge To Far.
I had remco Spidey. There was a Mego one but it was hard to get
Space Precinct was a Gerry Anderson production.
So cool. Thanks for the tour! How much was the electric spiderman?
Thanks. Not sure how much.
I want it All!
Guys Even though the Connery figure was just a corporal in WWII British Paras! He played Major General Urquhart
in the movie "A bridge too Far". I'm Andy not Annmarie!
Wow! I had one of those blue and red guys pictured at 16:15-19 and I had that mask racecar at 32:05
Damn i need that O'Brian figure to finish my bridge crew only 6 bucks!! im going to have to visit
The antique shop in alameda went out of business back in 2019 all that’s still open is toy safari
Ah, how I miss toy safari!!! I moved from alameda in 2016. The cinema, High Scores, and Toy Safari was my Sunday “route” ☺️
Micheal!. Hey man,, I have a miniscule nic in my near mint ( 1989 Nerf Turbo vintage spiral Football )..
Standard black n red edition..
Absolute near mint seems to be rarely used,, what do you think 🤔 about how much it would be worth now, today?.
Thanks!
Cool.
it would be amazing if this was in australia
Anyone know the Black and purple car @21:55?
Had it as a kid and I can't remember what line it's from.
1989 TMNT Footcruiser.
Thanks Mike!
This is just outside Brantford right?..looks very familiar
Yeah.
I had that web climbing Spiderman back in the day.
28:59...... I hate mondays!
Dragon Walker! (17:46)
Terminator cartoon on Netflix
Next big thing to go up will be Thunder Cats mark my words. Movie is supposed to be done for it soon. I am thinking about grabbing em up now for cheap to make money off them when they go up which I think will def happen in the next few years from now if earth isnt destroyed by then..
Any I.D. on the unicorn toy at 5:33?
It’s with the Willow movie figurines so maybe from that line.
Side question: lol, when's the last time have seen one ( turbo football )... have you ever thrown one 🤷♂️
there sort of was a Terminator cartoon , it was called Lazer Tag Academy , the first episode and most of them are about a super criminal from the mid future going to the far future by being cryofrozen and then stealing a time machine to go back in time to the far past 1980s to kill the ancestor of the cop who arrested him or the inventor of time travel? i forget but it played just like the Terminator movie.
I wish I had a flea market to go to
I can get you those star trek figs MOC for like $3.00-$3.99 a pop...entire set and then some. I've got a similar place in town BUUUUUT only has like 3 shelves of decent stuff but like 4 walls of those damn things!
