I'm about 45 min from Tampa and had no idea heaven existed. Much appreciated. I know where I'm going this weekend.
Have a safe trip!
Awesome store, be an dangerous and expensive trip for me😂
It’s a wonderful shop. Great selection. Owner is very knowledgeable.
Hi Michael it's matt leuty mate. I've been away for a year and a half which was the end result of taking some bad choices in life. Luckily I focused all my attention on creating sculptures out of the limited materials available. I was also given the job of Learning support assistant which gave me a lot more privileges and I ended up winning some awards for dragons and dioramas. Anyway, just wanted you to know that it's me. Love to you both my friends.
GREAT STORE!!! GREAT SHOW!!! THANK YOU 2!!!!!❤😂🙏😆🤎🫶🤙👍
As always with these vintage toy shop tours, I have to thank Michael Mercy & friends for the walk down memory lane. I wish I had the time & money to visit this place and make the inventory lighter 😂
Glad you enjoyed!
I’m from Tampa & I’ve never heard of this shop until now! I’m definitely coming to check it out! 💯💪🏾
Red is the man!! 90% of my Transformers collection Red has provided.
Man, I love these virtual walkthroughs. I could watch them all day. Its tough in the flea market off season so I love getting me fix. Thanks for doing these
Glad you enjoyed!
Love this store go all the time
Awesome pickups. 😊 SnowTrooper for the win 🏆
Tampa in the house!
Great watch. I’ve been suffering from July with the can’t breath , cant drive etc etc and got to the point like you said ive got to the point where if i die or don’t wake up im comfortable with that. Taking each day one day at a time however I hate it and can’t wait to be better x
I lived near this place for a few years. Great place to visit.
Great selection, being there since before they moved..
Enjoy these videos. It's like looking at the catalogs. "I had that" "I always wanted one of those as a kid", or "I remember those!". Fun memories. Thank you.
It was wesome taking the virtual tour with you, Mike!
Thanks again! Great shop with lots of history on the walls.
29:12 that Optimus looking bot actually is Zenon from Super Human Samurai, also known as God Zenon from Gridman.
Thanks!
Every Landshark sings. The question is how well. Thanks for the shout-out there Double M!
Mine is off key. 😵💫
I would agree: G1 Optimus Prime is arguably the greatest toy of all time :)
I have visted both the old locations. Would try to stop by the 56th ave ave location when going to Stefano. Spent quite a bit of money there, and Chuck and his staff were always cool. He even partnered up with a guy here in Lakeland to sell some of his stuff. Sadly,it didnt last long. When my financial situation improves,I will definitely visit the new location. Looks like he has more 3p toys and vintage figures. I kinda want that Machine Robo/Rock Lords Lords Lords combiner. Cheers 👍🏽
Playmates is indeed reissuing the technodrome lol
Wow, some absolute amazing items there guys! Great recap! Thanks for sharing!🙏😁
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it!
This loos like a great place to visit, thanks for sharing!
Great footage and great vintage goodies!
GREAT SHOP!! GREAT VIDEO!!!! THANK YOU 2 VERY MUCH!!!!¡❤😂
Great footage! I really liked the stop and chats!
Next time your out and about check out The Comic Book Underground in Largo, a ton of vintage toys.
Guess i will be going here next time i go to Tampa/Sarasota
I drove by that shop for work I don't know how many times and never knew it was a toy shop.
Awesome stuff on display here 🏆
I have that Slave 1 at the 46:00 mark. Got it back in 1999 at toys are us, but didn't get a Boba Fett for it until over a decade later. I'd love to have the vintage one next to it.
Awesome video. How much was the USS FLAGG?...🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
The Tailspin figures look to be the originals. They did make figures of them when the cartoon aired. Very short run. Only time I've ever seen them, was on the toy shelves of Kmart WAY back when.
Hey Michael, I did get my Mint in Box Kingdom Rodimus Prime signed by Judd Nelson at Rhode island Comic Con, and he even wrote his line "This is the end of the road Galvatron!" On it, got it certified too there on site. Also have you heard the news of Super7 getting the rights from Hasbro to make G.I. Joe o-ring figures and sell them regularly in stores?
Nice.
Cool.
The robot at the 29-minute mark is God Zenon from what in the U.S. was called Superhuman Samurai Syber-Squad. No clue if the toy was ever available in the U.S., but especially if that specific item was a Japanese import, the shop owner may have been providing its origins using the series' Japanese name, Gridman.
29:38 that's God Zenon from original Gridman
If you want a real nice toy shop you should check out vintage toy world in Sarasota Florida. Hands down the best shop in western Florida
This store has alot of grails for me. So many Japanese toys, i might need to visit Tampa
@MichaelMercy at 9:06-9:07 in the video, all the way to the left, there’s a grey with red looking exoskeleton suit that has the writing of GR / P4 in front of the legs. Seems like some action figure would go inside of it to combine with others to make a larger figure. Do you know which toy line this was from? I remember having a part of this and I can’t remember.
That's a power suit from the GoBots Power Warrior Courageous.
At 7:02 the camera pans across a red or red-orange g1 devastator. What is that? Is it diaclone or a special issue?
This is Downtown Tampa? I live in North Tampa and not far from USF is a Vintage Toy Shop.
I am 20 min from Tampa what’s the address ????
5120 N Florida Ave, Tampa, FL 33603.
It’s about 5 minutes Northeast from Tampa Airport.
U the man
Going to buy that Flagg 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🙈 my wife will kill me but it’s worth it
I am hoping someone can answer a question about gi Joe cobra I was wondering if anyone knew how many characters are on cobra team I tried to look it up and it listed 77 but it didn't include any troop character can someone help me out I know on the Joes side there about two hundred
I used to have Google V growing up in Japan.
