Screen accurate packs are fine, but they have one flaw :If you see one, you've seen them all. So I'm all for making the pack your own. Yours is amazing.

Thank you so much! i do wish i could program the board to stabilize the power bar but it is what it is with non-open-source circuit boards, and either way his kit is a hell of an upgrade!

Very nice work! I have been modding 80% scale Spirit pack and it's about done, so what to do? Get the full-size Spirit pack of course, and start all over again! :D Seriously, your hard work has paid off with a prop you can really be proud of!

Awesome pack! My only advice is turn down the potentiometer on the lightbar since the packs in the movies don't spin that fast.

This is what I want to build for my friend's proton pack, not exactly this, but similar. He's a major fan of the 84' model.

@fishythenerd2005 that's why I don't spend alot on modern stuff because it seems like they always upgrade stuff. They do it with action figures all the time .

@@Fishy_VA Wait! I know a good idea! If you have a ghost trap, add a V-hook on the bottom and add another onto the pack! Then it would look like the pack from the Real Ghostbusters!
I was planning on modifying my spirit Halloween proton pack too. I'm glad to know the extent of what i can do with it. I'm also planning on modifying my spirit Halloween ghost trap and making a pke meter with an oled screen and adding a ecto goggle scope to my neutrona wand

im using the ghostlab42 (spongefacemcgee on ebay) lights and sounds kit for the 80%spirit pack! i hope this helps!

Can you post the links to the electronics kit you used? I know the name of the store, but he has so many that idk which one it is
i would post the links but sadly, the main shops i got my kits from don't sell some of them (including important kits and kit combiners, electronic pieces, etc) anymore

Is the Neutrona Wand (aka Particle Thrower) the one made by Spirit Halloween, or is it a HasLab?
unfortunately the neutrona wand is the spirit halloween base model and i had to modify it heavily because i was on a heavy budeget and that had not come out at the time i had made it originally

Ita completely custom! I reccomend starting off with a Spirit Halloween 100% scale pack and modding it like i did with mine!

Lol I did actually put a volume knob its just not in the traditional spot, it's actually the skinny looking protrusion coming out of where the p-clamp should be (I used a c clamp which is all I had) but yes, I do enjoy yelling over the pack as if it was that loud just by existing hahaha

i first made this before the large one was even manufactured
@@Fishy_VA It happened to me. Spent Months heavily modding an 80% pack and just as I finish Spirit Halloween releases the full size pack. Of course, I had to get the full size pack. So my 80% is more like Afterlife while the full size is 84.
@@GhostbustersFan77Yea that whole situation sucked for people that spent all their time modding up the 80% scale one. You made the best of it though and thats awesome!
