I love the pretender line, and wish it would make a comeback. Or at least get some reissue/missing link love. My brother and I had quite a few of the pretenders in our collection growing up, but alas not all of them. I may try to collect them one day again, but unfortunately space to place my collections are very limited. 😂😢

Hi Micheal, even though you're Asleep Great video about 1989 Transformers Classic Pretender BUMBLEBEE, keep them coming, Also your latest video was outstanding, Also This is one of my favorite pretenders, Also Bumblebee is one of my best and most Favorite Autobots, not only is Bumblebee one of my best and most favorite Classic Autobot Pretenders of all time, but also Bumblebee is one of my best and most favorite Pretenders of all time, Also Dan Gilvzan is not only one of my best and most favorite Voice actors, not only is Dan one of my best and most favorite Actors of all time, but also Dan is one of my best and most favorite Actors of all time, Also Dan is a nice and friendly guy, Also This was definitely the best vintage version of Bumblebee. i had this one. as well as the Jazz one as well. Great version of BB for this year. gun isnt too show accurate, but oh well. loved this figure. Most dismiss anything 1989, and after. I love TF up to 1992

This is another part of Transformers I did not know about. I really liked the comparisons of Bumblebees and testing them to see if they do fit into the shell.

I picked this up on a family trip to the US. I liked the Bumblebee a lot more than the Jazz which I also picked up. Classic Pretenders were a very mixed bag!

These were an oddity to be sure. A definite LARGE misstep in the evolution of the franchise. But I have to admit this Bumblebee figure on his own does look pretty sweet.

I shocked at Hasbro fumbling the ball on Pretender characters (That Skullgrin mold is trash) especially in a time with the GI Joe crossover, because this would be such a great opportunity to have Pretender "shell" figurines that can infiltrate GI Joe universe.

Will you eventually pick up Takara's MP-60 and do a review?
Problem is... on the expensive side. But it would be fun how you compare it with the classic g1 and fanshobby.
It would be a nice sequel to the power master episode.

Probably not. I don't like how they made the cab smaller than MP10 and out of scale with all other Masterpiece Transformers. I love FansHobby's Power Baser so I'll stick with that.
