I told my wife she was drawing her eyebrows too high, she looked surprised.
That was great ty!
A good story doesnt always have to be twists and turns and shocking revelations. Most of the time when you can logically guess where there story is going based on how it is built up already makes it a good story, because the person who is watching it can actually follow along and understand it.
This! Sometimes I take comfort knowing how the story is going to end but I still want to watch it unravel because the journey is greater than the destination.
Yeah, avatar the last airbender its a good exemple
Skyrim, from first mission you knew who is the last boss. Straight forward and good
@@Chris_KAy I enjoy From Software games because they do just that. Even if some lore is from speculations/theories.. I find those absolutely fun.
Tbh. The story of Diablo seems to be copied from lord of the rings. It is basically the same.
Dude whoever does that guys voice is amazing. Every time he speaks, i feel as tho ive been transported to the world of diablo

correct me if Im wrong, I personally believe that Lilith would eventually use the Nephilim to destroy both Heaven and Hell but this is what Inarius also feared, he is afraid of the cosmic consequences should Heaven and Hell fall. After all, Demons are deceptive
Yeah, Lilith want rule alone in the end
@@edwinbasa2804 its too romantic for this universe :D
Mommy wanted to be supreme like a strong woman 👩, she dont saw in Inarius enemy, but they goals was diffrent, Inarius wanted quite the war, to escape eternal conflict, like a tired soldier. Lilith wanted also to escape the eternal conflict, but not running from in, but destroy heaven and hell and build something new, her world.
When she talks with dead Rathma she says:”I dont know if you would chosen to stand beside ME in this NEW world..”
Also “All that you might have been has stolen from ME.” Stolen by Inarius.
And Inarius says “what were looking for and what we need is rarely the same”
Poor daddy just wanted to escape the war :(
The cool thing is that Lilith is kinda right, to end the eternal conflict you need to destroy heaven and hell. The question is, what she want build instead.
Hope blizz will not make her Just as Evil girl that want rule…
Wrong a bit Lilith never wanted to rule heaven & hell ; she just wanted to stop the conflict and people find a common ground to rule in peace ; read the Sin War Trilogy you will understand more about Sanctuary Inarius & Lilith ; Inarius was worshipped as a god ; the church was like a cult that controlled sanctuary back then and Lilia/Lilith tried to enforce they`re freedom to not be slaves to angel Inarius. the events of Diablo 1,2,3 shows slight change of that.
Can also notice that the angels wanted to massacre the nephalem considering them abominations that only they have the power to rule and nobody else to question it ; Lilith never wanted to rule she just wanted to give them freedom and let them grow. But Angels greed was to big. Tyrael even said Humanity is the only hope ; he came to a conclusion in Diablo 3 as well that Nephalem is the only one that can stop this war and bring peace and harmony not just to Sanctuary but to the Eternal Conflict ; in the books Uldyissian the MC Nephalem did that with Lilith help and his fellow Nephalem companions after breaking lose of Inarius Mind Control and enslavement . Inarius even send demons after them
@@killeralx2007 broh we got you love Lilith, but say all the truth…
By her wanted to stop the war you mean destroy heaven and hell.
About Sin War, yes there was religion Cathedral of Light and Inarius was the ruler of it but why dont say that there was also another religion of demons Triune?
And both Cathedral and Triune wanted humans join them. Also you forget to say that Lilith wanted to make her own cult…
"No. No longer the Cult of the Three. There is only One. There is only Me."
- Lilith's thoughts
So pls stop saying that Inarius is the bad guy and mommy Lilith just want a good for us.
Inarius isn’t dik, he just wanted to escape the eternal war, he thought Lilith wanted it too, but late he discovers that Lilith wanted to use Nephalems to destroy hell and heaven… Couse of this he get mad. Poor Dad…
Its seems like a nice story, but i want Blizz make Lilith more grey, loke she really love Nephalems, and not just saw them as tool to her victory.
@@ZarathosDaimaoh Lilith started murdering angels and demons, Inarius put a stop to it. Not a trace of being a dick.
@@ZarathosDaimaoh but this is all the thing… you cant win Eternal conflict, he need to be eternal… Inarius just got tired of war, he thought he can escape it and build his little place with peace… Its kinda sad that his little dream of that peace was a lie…
Its like he says :”what you want and what you need to do is rare the same thing”
Again you cant win in this war… Imagine if Heaven wins, The Heaven is ruled by Angiris Council, Their power is in their unity as Diablo says. The leader of Council is Imperius Imperius, the archangel of Valor, there is no Valor if there is no wars… Or Auriel archangel of hope, why you need hope if there is no evil?
Maybe Inarius understood it too…
Again hes not bad, he just got tired and wanted to escape.
@@Knights_of_the_Nine she wanted to destroy heaven and hell before she met Inarius.
actually I think Its just Inarius and Lilith's peace is different, Inarius think they can just find a safe place to escape the war and Lilith think they can Destroy Both heaven and Hell to achieve Peace by using their chilren's potential. Both of them wont work anyway since try to hide from war wont keep you from it forever and even if you manage to destroy both heaven and hell by the nephilim, they themself have Heaven and hell part within them too so they will fight each other
I was gonna say I hope there’s another one cuz they left out a lotttt of info in the original story and sin war books. Inarius was content with just hiding but lillith wanted to make an army of their children.
Lilith flew off the handle before Inarius even came to a decision. She could have at least heard him out before just axing everybody. The whole point was to escape the war and violence and she brought it to their doorstep.
I mean he was legit considering killing their children because he was worried about them being more powerful than him… maybe she felt she had to act fast
@@XQueenofHe4rtsX Considering that Inarius literally does kill his own son and permanently cripples all of humanity (who are his grandchildren/descendents as well), I feel she wasn't completely unjustified with what she did.
That said though they are both pieces of crap who had a 'My way or the highway' attribute and would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. The difference was that Lilith wanted to win the war for 'their' side and rule over everyone while Inarius wanted to hide away like a hermit. When their desired goals clashed they each took action.
If you read the Sin War Trilogy books you would know that Sanctuary was not just a blessing land it was a Cult land of Inarius ; he was worshipped as a GOD and everyone had to be slaves to the church and the CULT ; nobody would even be allowed to have freedom of speech or opinion against them.Lilia/Lilith embraced freedom and free will into her children and Uldyssian the main character Nephalem that his powers were not surpressed by Inarius NERF.Inarius just wanted slaves to be ruled like a god and worshipped hidden away he did not want to make an world where people leave in harmony and peace. So Lilith did nothing wrong here; every mother would protect her children no matter what and enforce them to grow and evolve not keep them caged and mind controled
It's great that Diablo IV goes back and embraces the good lore from before Diablo III.
Before?
I mean, it's not like D3 tried to retcon any of it? Most of it actually comes from D3 and D3 related releases.
@@kolosmenus which of this comes from d3?
act 5 and act 1 was in d3 is great tho
@@akaimizu1 well done children? their world is in ruin...
Makes sens why we were a Nephelem in D3 beacuse in D2, Tyreal destroyed the Worldstone, so it is no longer supressing the Nephelems power.
And who and when made the cash shop and the battle pass? Like Inarius made the shop and Lilith made the battle pass?
Traveler,
The cash shop was forged when Inarius came on Lilaths ass
Loving these lore videos!
U gotta understand that mommy lilith also had dreams of using the nephalem as an army to overthrow both heaven and hell. (the books on uldyssian cover her angle there)
This is why I'm hoping we get Lilith Daughter who takes our side etc...
In the books Lilia/Lilith embraced her children freedom Uldyssian was freed by her from Inarius enslavement and Mind Control ; his power started develop when Lilia appeared in the town and opened his mind. He was not a puppet anymore a toy to be done and played in Inarius CULT Cathedral of Light that ruled Sanctuary with an Iron fist.
Because of Lilith Uldyssian freed Sanctuary even thought his powers were to much to hold into his own body ; Lilith mostly tested him and made him stronger so he could free the others the trails with the demons at the inn and fight.
Lilia did not discriminate like Angels ; you can see Deja-Vu into Tyrael mind-set in Diablo 2/3 as he came to same conclusions as Lilith: Humanity is the only hope we have for peace.
Do you think the angels had good intentions? Mendlen his brother was sheltered because of the fear what the Cathedral will do once they found out he started speaking to the death. Rathma also helped the Nephalem and was on same side as Lilia her mother ; Inarius killed his own son because he sided with his mother... that was no mind control that was logic they concluded and GREED & lust for power what drove Inarius to do that.
@@killeralx2007 both heaven and hell had their vested interests. Hence we gotta guard against em both. My statementbonly highlighted liliths agenda since the video was already against inarius
just because inarius decided to go into reflection to see how their actions had affected things doesnt give lilith the right to start slaughtering both sides ? Their children the horadrim may have been seen as a bad thing for the world and even inarius hadnt concluded on that yet
They didn't have the right to genocide their children either though. Also their children were the Nephalem (modern humans), the Horadrim are a group of mages/scholars. I'm not excusing Lilith's actions but Inarius is not much better. He considered killing his children out of fear they would usurp him in power.
@@Zoidberryable good reply ! i meant the nephalem that was my bad. I would argue lilith took the more drastic and immediate measure while inarius wanted to reflect and see what this could become in my opinion. I would say liliths actions where much worse in comparison to what weve been told inarius was doing simply because there wasnt any real action taken on his part that we know of so far besides pondering what was at hand. You have to understand that lilith and Inarius made sanctuary for the main reason of escaping the conflict , if the Nephalem were to usurp lilith and Inarius who's to say that would be preserved ?
@@Zoidberryable Inarius didnt genocide his children’s…. He set the world stone to take their powers…its not genocide.
And he did that not because he feard that Nephalems will usurp him, but because he feared of what they can become in wrong hands.
Again Inarius wanted to escape the war.
Lilith wanted to make a tool to win the war… And in her vision wining is destroy heaven and hell. Its not what Inarius wanted.
@@nzothfatherofdream9231 bro him taking power away from the nephalim just oepend them up to being tortured and slaugthered by demons lmao ty inarios for letting humans have eternal suffering. almost worse then killing them.
@@C3l3bi1 I think Inarius is just afraid that the nephalim will eventually drag him and those other angel and demon who wanted peace to their war with hell and heaven. And i bet that the nephalim even fight each other too, they are basically super human. Look at us now, we have nuke in the world so there is less war than before since we afraid we will wipe each other out but when the world war 3 happen , we all know that most of the earth will be reduced to stone age. The nephilim is just like those nuke, what if a too powerful nephilim who is even stronger than Inarius decide to destroy everything or want war? how can he even stop that except prevent it by taking power away from them ? and the power still remain in the world stone which he is using anyway
Renegade Angels & Demons: "Yo, Inarius, our kids seem kind of dangerous. Should we maybe destroy them?"
Inarius: "Woah guys, let's think this over..."
Lilith: "DIE!!! REEEEE!!!"
Yeah... completely normal.
'Well, you /might/ become more powerful than me one day so that's enough reason to slaughter you and your siblings'
Lilith is a vicious demon, for sure, but the whole casual discussion of genocide against all of humanity isn't much better. Like they were all acting out of self-interest, afraid heaven and hell would find out about Sanctuary and afraid their children would become more powerful than them.
Lilith was mostly acting out of self-interest when she butchered the renegades tbh. That said, Inarius wanted to stay hidden so he could rule over Sanctuary like a god in his personal kingdom, never questioned or challenged. He saw his children/Nephalem as a threat to his plans because they could potentially become too powerful to control.
It's nice to see these videos and check if i recall everything correctly as a massive Diablo lore nerd. Plus they're really well done imho.
Lorath is giving Deckard Cain a run for the money. I dig it.
Lilith isn't a savior as far as we see from her actions. Not saying Inarius isn't a dick, but Lilith isn't good or even gray, she's definitely evil by average human standards.Considering the start of D4 she's not someone I'd call good, by any definition.
Because she awakened her children and killed the blind and swayed?
Yeah, I agree. Even though we can't clearly discern what her endgame is, her motivations (at least right at this moment) seems to be pretty darn relatable. She's a (apparently) vengeful mother who's out for the blood for her ass of an ex.
She clearly has plans in store for mankind that are not good for us in the slightest, but can't really say that she's in the wrong to want to beat up Inarius and take care of Sanctuary all by herself. Even Mephisto seems to be wary of her, so whatever she's plotting can't be in the best interests of the Hells either.
In Diablo 3 we are a Nephalem because in Diablo 2 Tyrael destroys the worldstone nerfing us. Now we have yet to see where are the Nephalems in Diablo 4 who are supposed to be stronger than angels and demons still.
it's truly sad the story has been out in the books for so long the sin Wars Trilogy of books might be hard to find now however the audiobooks are free online to listen to on RUclips
anyway you can tell a story in a new light I'd say is a good thing even if it's watered down a little for new viewers
Ralph Ineson has a fantastic narration voice
Inarius became crazy in Diablo 4 because he was eternally tortured in the Burning Hells by Mephisto until he escaped or was freed somehow before the events of Diablo 4. Over time, Inarius' torture made him less caring for humanity, and sees them as nothing more than tools to help him find "redemption" and return to the High Heavens. The Inarius we meet is a broken angel and not the confident and wise angel we knew before the High Heavens gave him as a "diplomatic gift" to the Burning Hells. The only way save Sanctuary is likely to find a way to cut off any path the High Heavens and the Burning Hells can take to enter Sanctuary. Thus, there will be no angels and demons to influence the world. The other solution is to find a way to rebuild Anu with both good and evil in him.
Lilith was clever enough to see the way to end the eternal war. With an army of overpowered nephilim. Not an army of "her children". Maybe Inarius came to understand that fact over time.
Yeah.
But still for Lilith army of overpowered nephilim=army of her children.
The point for Inarius is that he got it that the plan of lilith contain destraction of high heaven too, and with this he cant agree.
It's really cool that they put in lore reasons to explain their mechanics like why D3 characters could eventually take out angels and demons but started out weak, how multiple simultaneous worlds can exist (worldstone), and why the same demons can keep returning (They don't die, they just respawn back in Hell)... so different players can encounter different gameplay situations, but it can be believed that all of our stories are still occurring all at once! I hope they can also give some kind of believable lore reason for the level scaling, though I have no clue what it might be.
Lore is the core. No lore no game.
This story build up is great, and im sure there is going to be multiple arcs.
The realization that Team Mommy isn't just for booba!
Angels are dicks lol...well except Auriel by default.
The last final boss was an Angel, nuff said!
What’s not clearly conveyed in this video is that Inarius went into see tought wether to destroy the nephalem . He was only convinced to do it when he found out the nephalem were tools of Lilith made to destroy the demons and the angels
INARIUS DID NOTHING WRONG \m/
yes the book of Lorass
I highly recommend the audiobooks for the sin war trilogy they are fairly cheap for being between 10-14 hours long and they are so good and it's your real first in depth look at our glorious mother. Diablo lore has always been badass and i cant wait for what 4 will bring us.
Also yes inarius is a total tool he wanted humanity to be on " his" level of perfection so he could make his own heaven on sanctuary while lillith wanted us to rise up and beat the angiris council and the leaders of hell down so that the eternal conflict would be finished problem is she wanted to force us into this by offering what all demons say they have power. I think the next episode will be in the aforementioned sin war and one poor farmer named uldyssen.
Totally agree. The sin war trilogy is great and helps to give context to an awful lot of stuff in the games.
It's good because while in games we are basically "trained" that angels = good and demons = bad, it actually has never been like this. No one loves humanity in Diablo - Angels want to get rid of us because we're abominations, Demons want to enslave us because of our potential and use that to win the war.
The bad thing is that Blizzard never really tapped into this but it seems they're finally doing that now.
Uldyssian is the man
I personally think it’s stupid. It was much better in Diablo 1 and 2 where everything was shrouded and mysterious , demons where corrupters and manipulators and angels felt real divine
@@dumitrache12 bud the sin war has been apart of the games since legit diablo 1 decard cain spoke of it in the game he didn't mention uldyisian but the frane work was already there.... And inarius had already been talked about in other works outside of the game talking about him being trapped in hell so thus was pretty much the path since day 1
@@Coldkil666 yeah it seems they really wanna go behind the curtain and show us what these 2 are really about finally and im not gonna lie i suspect the end of this game is gonna be a jaw dropper in terms of how bad its gonna get i think the truce is finally gonna be disolved and hell and heaven are gonna march on us in its full onslaught maybe dear mother and father will finally have a moment of clarity and just power us up using gathered fragments of the worldstone and stand behind theur creation but that's just rampant speculation.
Hopefully the lore from here is good. Something basic, but interesting. Doesn’t have to get crazy cuz we will only hear the story on first play through.
Inarius is the ultimate Chad when you first meet him he's looking at a picture of himself beating off😂😂😂😂
I would like to see Trag'Oul come into the story and what plot by Rothma was developed to protect Sanctuary. My guess was to destroy or control both sides.
Inaurius was a part of the plot devised in the possible deaths of the Nephilim
Ralph Ineson's voice though is actually insane
For as long he wants another mega-yacht, Bobby Kotick will remain the most insedious and I would argue, the most powerful of all Prime Evils.
Cannot wait for Ralph Ineson's Final Fantasy performance
@Asmongold, the physical book itself reveals the real endgame and it seems to all have been live for awhile. Funny how no one is catching on yet. It's been the best gaming experience I've ever had and everyone is missing out. It's a complete Indiana Jones experience.
Thats why we're given extra stats from Altars of Lilith, and not Altars of Inarius.
Asmon : "not much has been retconned for diablo huh?"
The 10 500 page novels : ".....what ?"
World Stone = Unreal Engine.
Inarius got that Greek Mythology backstory lol. My kids are stronger then me? Fetus Deletus.
Inarius got 2 hole scenes the entire game rip. Man was badass
Lore session with asmon always awesome!!!
If u like the lore of Diablo and want more there are books as well like the sin war volumes 1 2 and 3
Lilith is such a good example of morally Grey. Much more than Sylvania
This is the best stuff Blizzard has done in a decade. Could listen to this forever
The final boss: "The as**ole Inaris"
The diablo story is basically a bunch of creatures fighting eachother to death
Inarius and Lilith is basically Romeo and Juliet.
Humanity is Anu recombining. The Nephalem are the future and our enemies are both angels and demons.
Glad to know at least some part of Blizzard is still doing ok, screw the Overwatch directors
this guy smoked every cigarette
does anyone know if they are just leaving out the part where lilith wanted to use the nethalim as soldiers or are they retconning it?
Lilith only rallied and started building an army after Rathma was killed by Inarius ; because Rathma wanted freedom for Nephalem not enslavement and mind control ; it was out of hatred and love for her lost that she started to rally ; because Inarius wanted to control Sanctuary as a god and keep them as puppets to do his bidding
When the villians start to make sense
8:05 Only 12 damage
A lot of people have bad understanding that Lilith even wanted to rule...If you payed attention to Diablo2/Diablo 3 side lore horadrum stuffs and voice books found in the world ; and if you read the Sin War trilogy books by Richard A.K you would know that Lilia/Lilith never wanted to rule she did not even care about that she only cared about giving her children room to grow/evolve/breed.
- Sanctuary was like a CULT land ruled by the Prophet (Inarius) and his Cathedral of Light servants ; he was worshipped as a GOD and the land was dominated by it ; Lilia tried to enforce freedom on her children the MC Nephalem Uldyssian with his companions managed to break free of Inarius enslavement and control and inspired freedom and harmony into others ; with the help of mages and some demons he faced against Inarius to free Sanctuary !! Lilia never ruled Lilia only embraced her nephalem children freedom and left them to they`re own devices; she even helped strengthen them so they will not get destroyed by Inarius Church Cult !
- The thing that says : Demons want to rule and Lilith wants to dominate everyone is a lie spread by the Cathedral of Light ; Inarius puppets because he was afraid to give them free will ; he was afraid of his own children and that is what alienated his wife Lilith ; especially since he was the one that rejoined Sanctuary and wanted to plot to destroy them after discovering he could not control them anymore. In this story Lilith is a neutral she did not side with demons or angels only with her family & her children while Inarius used them as puppets and slaves in a Cult land Sanctuary by the Cathedral of Light order that is also expanded in the games lore and when he could not toy with them he decide to plot to destory them . This is a story where Angels are the bad guys and Demons some of them might be but some are good.
-After Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 ; Tyrael that was sought on justice and to bring justice to Sanctuary and vanquish Nephalem after witnessing them he was not afraid as Inarius & Imperius ; he embraced them and saw as Lilith said : Humanity is last hope for any peace at all.
You can consider Inarius story similarity to Chronos from greek mythology that was afraid of his children becoming more powerful then him and wanted to kill them at birth ; while her mother protected them and they kids Zeus & his brothers and sisters plotted to take him down so they have peace
-Just because Lilith was born a Demon does not mean she was the Evil character ; pay attention to what Lorath said : Lilith despised her father and this war ; while Mephisto and Diablo sought to use the Nephalem as tools of war and weapons Lilith never once had that intention she was between a cross road : Angels=Exterminate abomination new race Nephalem that can become more powerful then them/ Demons Prime Evils = Use them as tool to take down Sanctuary and rule.
It always comes back to the parents divorcing :(
Watching these videos puts Rhykker on my mind. Hope you're doing well, friend.
i dont really understand what inarius his plan was... nerfing sanctuary and leaving the humans. he hates the eternal conflict right? he could have had his own faction and break it all apart, instead he just runs away
07:10 this is what is happening irl :(
Inarius was right even if you don't like him.
Pretty sure this voice actor had roles in witcher 3 also with some random npc:s. It was so recognizable, but good
this meeting has concludet ... i think he was big bad ass when he said it :D
inarius won't be the final boss if anything at some point we will finally have Lilith backed into a corner and she just needs one more thing to unlock ultimate power and inarius swoops in and can't bear to see you kill Lilith and then during the fight with inarius Lilith has enough time to do whatever she becomes more powerful tells you where she is going and why and that's where the final fight will be to stop her from whatever
Diablo should be a world boss if he's still not included on the base game yet or in future expansion.
Rhykker has a more in depth Diablo lore series. He's alost gotten to present day Sanctuary. You should watch if you got time.
So we all know now, Asmon is down bad for these crazy ones.
These lore videos are helping pass the time till release! Would love to see you do some theory crafting before the release! Who wants to team up and be the first to 100?

I've been binging lore videos from a RUclipsr named Rhykker. He does some amazingly entertaining and in-depth lore videos about everything Diablo.
Inarius has actually been through a lot and betrayed by everyone. I'd be a bitter asshole if I was him too. His goal was always to find an end to the Eternal Conflict but he only made things worse and he carries that burden.
Asmon point on boobs is the point ever one of us agree... sadly, moust of the games ignores it 😢
IIRC from the beta, when you enter Kyovashad there is a brief cutscene with Lorath where he said something like "at the time, I truly believed that the adventurer would help the horadrim defeat Lilith."
There is an achievement for defeating every boss and Lilith is one of them
@Stefan That doesn't mean much. There is every possibility that the player could fight her and then a scripted event prevents a killing blow. This happens all the time in games. And anyway, that still doesn't change the fact that Lorath says this somewhat cryptic line (or something like it; don't recall the exact words).
@@dumitrache12"Defeat" not "killed"
@@Ravagerblade sure but from a narative standpoint Lilith need do be held accountable for allowing cultist to slaughter other humans and each other. So Im pretty sure she will be banished the same way Diablo and other prime and lesser evils were in the past.
So yeah, defeated
It seems Asmongold's reaction after hearing the story, is just what the Devs wanted., to have a divided opinion.... wich side to choose. Angelic or demon.
Wich is right & wich is wrong?
No wonder players can get blood marked in PvP... for what reason really... to make other players hunt you down, even that player is no more, no less hero than any other player.
I smell player....diablo in the future.
Damn, even demon mama and angel daddy's divorce was my fault.
This man has so much base my speakers can't handle his vocal choirs.
I wonder why these gods, 'holy beings that embody goodness', hide their faces.
Hail Lillith
Seems like Lilith is actually Mommy Lilith.
most of the games we see lilith torturing and killing her children, is that okay? is this care? inarius did the right thing, he could have killed everyone, but he didn't
Lorath, the Walmart version of our lord and savior Deckard Cain
I wonder if we'll get to choose who lives of those 2
To be fair this is not the lore of diablo 4 this is the lore of diablo universe before 4 was even a thing
also I wonder if they touch on what lilith planned to do with nephalem
is this game called diablo because it is just happening in the previous game lore? or somehow diablo will be actual final boss?
what if every book you opened in Skyrim, turned into this kind of a detailed story driven cinematic??
Book verse video media...
Watch Rhykker's lore series. The Diablo lore is actually pretty detailed, I like it a lot.
For anyone who likes the lore of Diablo, I recommend reading the Sin War Trilogy, which has been made cannon since Diablo 3. They're written by Richard A. Knaak and imo they're pretty decent high fantasy novels in their own right, they just happen to also be set in the Diablo universe.
So Lilith Ghost-Titted Inarius and made him go crazy, now it all makes sense...
Where is the bloody Paladin???
I mean, people don't seem to realize that in the Diablo universe there is no "good" side. All factions(demons, angels and nephalem) are all about self preservation. The only entities that cared about "creation" is Lilith, and Tyrael who fight for humanity.
"Lilith did nothing wrong!" Moral of the story, do not threaten a mother's children.
Inarius the Lord of Pride.
Inarius the Low Tier god.
Lilith still the only canonically good higher being in the whole story, lol
Did you know that towels are the leading cause of dry skin.
That story was already written and explained, lore junkies heard nothing new.
Hold up, if there was the option to just nerf us, why didn't they do that from the beginning
i feel like both sides would be happy, the ones afraid of us would no longer be afraid of us and the ones who wanted to spare us would get their wish because we would still be alive
Team Lilith
I refuse to fight mommy.
they basicly stole planescape. edit. classic blizzard.
Lilith killed all renegades, but Inarius is the a*hole? 😂
Not much of a coincidence that a Diablo lore video is the slowest of Asmongold's to reach 100K views in years, considering that Diablo is (or I should say, used to be) a franchise mostly based on lore despite the simplistic gameplay. Most of the manual of the first game was basically lore or everything that happened before the game. That made the game itself feel more impactful. Then Diablo became a loot fest and that's when the magic ended.
I hope Blizz makes more of these official lore stories, but there is so much more information and lore than what they are telling in these so far. Years ago rhykker did a pretty good job at his videos if you want to check them out, I think he stopped and never finished it but there are a good amount of them.
Rhykker still makes them, more recently too.
@@Exaltable Oh? I don't watch much of his stuff anymore but good to hear that, might take a look at what's new, thanks.
