How much battery charge do you get when coasting or braking ?
If you put the car into battery mode to recharge the battery whilst driving you only get 24 mpg!
Can I start the car while it’s still charging? Or can plug-in the charging cable while the car engine is still on?
If you’re parked the car just uses the motor to power the vehicle. So no worries, unless the battery is completely dead then I’m not sure in that scenario.

Always plug the charger into the power point before plugging into the car.
Otherwise decent review. You get Xtraboost for 10seconds at a time.
Hi Arjun, thanks for the comments, yes this would be preferred if your wall socket allows and these are public chargers not our own.
19 miles more like in electricity
Nice review but when you were driving, your voice a bit soft and background sound too noisy, difficult to hear.
You don’t get 30 miles electric I have one max range is 24 miles and that depletes by 4 miles just sitting on the drive if not being charged, the best mpg is 37 mpg no where near the advertised MPG not worth the extra money
Don’t buy urgent please read first my 330e nearly 4 years old done 38000 miles timing chain broke last month the engine is being rebuilt now but bmw said NO goodwill because it wasn’t brought at a bmw garage just over a year ago and it’s B service wasn’t completed a a bmw garage but a fully qualified vat registered garage absolutely disgraceful BMW should now stand for BE MORE WARY
I don’t understand what you mean. So they won’t repair the car at all or they won’t repair it under warranty?
@@AW-gj4ji Alex they won’t repair the car full stop I’ve paid £3808 to rebuild the engine and it’s now in the hands of the vehicle Ombusman who is completely independent and their decision is final. Bmw so disappointing on a massive scale
@@johnhill1421 That is very interesting it doesn't make any sense for BMW to do that. That's awful customer service, I could see why you would steer away from BMW.
