  • There weren't a lot of great reviews or mod lists out there for the P500 when I was shopping, so after I've owned mine for a year, I wanted to make sure I gave a great rundown. In addition, I've had a hard time tracking down a lot of the info online.
I'm 6'9", Offroad, use for farm use, transport people, and participate in parades. The P500 is great for all those uses, and at a wonderful price as well. The compact size creates few limitations, but really opens the door to do things that you can't do in other UTVs- like attack 50" ATV trails and haul it in the back of a regular pickup truck. Let me show you all of these!
While its great out of the package, there's also some key mods that are relatively cheap but have a HUGE impact, from increasing storage to protecting you from the elements. Details on the modifications discussed in this video are available here:

The glove box is absolutely worth it. The guy who was making the steel glove box I bought has retired, so your only option is the 3D printed glove box from Crossroads 3D.

How you liking your 520? I’m debating between the rubicon ATV or the pioneer 520

Another reason for the top mounted winch is so you have less of a chance to rub the cable with whatever berm you can’t get over. 9 times out of 10, you’ll be hooking up your winch upwards and the lower mounted winch could cause an issue.

That's a Rugged Ridge Clinometer. They're available on Amazon.

I bought that rear view mirror after watching your video. But how do you tighten it to your bar? Those inserts that allow you to adjust the tightness seem to be missing a piece?

It should have come with a rubber gasket (or two) that fit inside the "C". With that gasket in place, it fits the 1.75" roll cage. The pioneer is technically 1.625" which is a slightly smaller diameter. Clamped all the way down, mine does hold OK, but to improve the hold, you can either 1. wrap it first with electrical tape, 2. Use felt tape, rubber tape, or foam tape strips, or 3. use a thin piece of foam, rubber, or liner. I use a piece of non-slip tool chest liner any time I clamp something down on painted or powder coated surfaces, so didn't think twice about it here. With a piece of tool chest liner under it (Others use 2 sided tape or electrical tape), it holds very tightly without a problem- been offroading quite a bit and its held perfectly. I do the same on the side mirrors. Glad to show a picture but unfortunately can't post to youtube.

The review would have been great without the music

Fair feedback, thanks! I'll certainly look into removing the music backdrop at least while talking. Thank you!
