- We took Ryan Tuerck's Ferrari-powered Toyota GT4586 out to Willow Springs International Raceway for it's first track test day. Much drifting occurred, with some additional help from Chris Forsberg and his demo Nissan 370Z.

V12 S13 has already been done. Don't think it's a Ferrari V12 though. It was done by Ken Nomura years ago when he was promoting his old line of URAS bodykits.

Cold? All I have been hearing is how cold it is! You know what! That's everyone from cali fucking saying that! It was 89 last week er something in so cal, I'm sorry, Cali but the rest of North America is cold, you guys are "colder than normal" but that's not cold... Go to Canada or the east coast of America. I'm honestly kinda bummed how similar this sounds to tanner foust's drift Passat. All that work and it sounds like a ls engine with some twisty headers

At the first part of the video, it's funny how the GT4586 sounds more like a tuned 4AGE inside the car. You gotta fucking wonder how ferrari made the standar 458 V8 engine to sound like that. Putting that in the GT 86 is just brilliant

This is the type of freakshow you hear the Civic fanboys talk about "Ooh duude, it gt a ferrari engine in it".. If you didn't have this car at hand, and told people you had a ferrari Engine in your GT86... They will be laughing!

Absolutely awesome car, but if you put a Ferrari V8 in a car and rev the nuts off it please don't put music over that sound!
Maybe in the future it could be supercharged. x2 Procharger D1SC or F1A blowers mounted on the front should do it.

I mean its a cool build. But why a ferrari powerplant. I would of much rather seen it stick in the toyota family with a lexus RCF v8 and some turbos. More reliable power.

Ferrari engines dont last pinned and drifting, look at every ferrari blows engine video its drifting holding revs on the limiter ALWAYS
I was excited about this build until I saw this. This thing looks hideous. The front wheels turn so far that anyone could drift in that thing. I like the idea of a Ferrari engine swap, but the execution is just not my style. Freakin' Frankenstein drift abortion...

Does it have the kind of power and torque you would need to actually run this thing in FD (I know its not meant to)?
What's with the scrub radius?
Is being able to clear your suspension and frame with huge tires (for front end grip), and insane steering angle just outweigh steering feel and response in professional drifting?
Is it because you are loading up into huge corners in tracks where you don't need to transition frequently?
I mean he is literally dragging his tire around this pivot axis, how can this be desirable?

Never understood the appeal of drifting, and to me it seems a waste of a Ferrari motor.
Can I get the same without that annoying music. There is a beautiful sounding engine and now it fades away.
