I'm 60 years old...I've been doing yoga, kickboxing and boot camp type workouts for many years. I saw your ballet workout and thought I'd give it a go. Apart from being far from graceful in my attempts, I enjoyed myself immensely! It's a really great low impact cardio workout that is extremely challenging to one like myself. Funny, a fair few positions are similar to my power yoga moves. Although I'm very pleased no one was watching my rather comic attempts to look graceful, I'll be tuning in on a regular basis...thankyou l so much ladies. :-)
I also am 60 years old a former bodybuilder I attend Barre classes now, do HIIT workouts and Stretch daily. I recently just started working out with you and hope to jump in frequently as I feel longer and leaner 💗👍
I am 67 and try to survive the time of isolation to the date of vaccination. I am trembling like a tree on the strong wind, when I stand on one leg, but it is better and better every time. So I try to battlet one day and kick-boxing training the other day. I will be stronger and with better shape after this pandemia.
Though probably one of the chunkiest persons you have watching but I was almost brought to tears as I felt a grace upon me to do this! I did up to the floor and was in a full sweat but yet felt poised and not bulky. Not only a beautiful stretch but also an opportunity to feel the ballerina grace every women needs to experience!
Hands down one of the BEST workouts out there. Back on 2.4.23 after doing all sorts of other workouts. A lot to restore, especially re balance. Brilliant! Especially of you find working out boring. This keeps your mind active re coordinating all of the positions, then, at pace! The way the stretching is incorporated into the final sequence is so polished and professional! Well girls, this is your toughest routine, which I don't do as regularly as your other ' Sweaty Betty' full class, but I completed the whole routine this morning, without a break. Really enjoyed it and it has got easier with each attempt. Your routines are so often my ' go to' when I am not teaching my PhysioYogaLates routines . You are both absolutely fabulous, SO professional and as a Lifestyle Chartered Physiotherapist of 38 years [ trained at Guys Hospital], I highly recommend you to anyone and always mention you to my patients/ clients.
I'm hopelessly and absolutely IN LOVE with Sweaty Betty Ballet workouts!! For adult Ballet dancers that don't have the chance to dance in Ballet Schools anymore, taking your classes in mi living room makes me over the top happy!! Warm thank you hugs for you both!
I take barre with an ex professional ballerina, and her barre classes are very focused on form and ballet posture. I'm "resting" after surgery, and I can't do anything with upper body (no weights, no moving my arms fast), so barre has been perfect. I make it to her classes twice a week, but I'd like to do it at home on the days she doesn't teach, and I'm having an incredibly hard time finding good form barre youtube work outs. I've been watching them on here (skipping through to see what all is included) for like an hour. Yours is BY FAR the best barre work out I've found. It is actually ballet centric. THANK YOU! I can't wait to do it later this evening. (I'd comment on the videos about their form, but why start a war for the sake of starting a war. Sighhhh

This was amazing! The rhythm was just infectious and afterwards you're not exhausted but invigorated, and can't wait to do it again. I only wish there was a companion video explaining the moves or that one of the instructors did the movements from the side so that we could see the proper form.

I love the feeling while I'm into the workout,and I love ballet/pilates based workouts overall--now it could be just ME,but I feel that it's too fast. I'm mixing up the steps and I'm trying not to injure myself with the balance parts of it. I wish there was a countdown clock to get ready for the next set,or a half speed version of this. But it's a 9 1/2 out of 10 for me!
Working out to this video has changed my body, I can't quite believe how much. I am on a very healthy diet plan as well but I have done this much work in the past and haven't seen any real results. When I look for a workout I always look at the teacher's body and ballet teachers always look like teenagers. Love both the videos, I want more!

I love this workout- I have sleek technique dvds and did their first Sweaty Betty workout, which I loved. It makes you sweat, truly builds "ballet" muscles, and increases balance, flexibility, and grace. The directional work is challenging the first few times, but you'll get the hang of it after awhile. Done this one and previous ones. Really difficult barre routine but amazing work out, constantly engaging the balance (hence the brain) and the stabilisers.
margot2720 How often did you do this workout before seeing results? I tried this and it was a little tricky to keep up. Sweated buckets! Going to to keep trying to get the correct steps though.
This is a great workout - I love how the moves flow right into each other, and everything follows a rhythm. I have horrible balance even though I've been working out for years doing yoga, tabata and running. I think this can help me - LOL! Thanks for making a challenging workout that is fun!

I really loved this workout! It's fun and fast paced and as a former dancer I kept up fine. I usually dance or Jog to workout but some days I need to be told what to do! It wasn't even like working out it was so fun!
I absolutely love this exercise ! I've been doing yoga and some dance exercise at home, but yoga was too slow and the dance exercises had too much movements to catch up. I felt like I used all parts of my body by doing this workout. It was hard but fun to do, and no muscle pain because some yoga movements are included in the workout.
This was AWESOME!! apart from feeling a bit unco, I got a great sweat on and really felt my muscles working. Will be coming back to this one again for sure!
Wow this was so fun! I'm super short and uncoordinated so i never signed up for ballet so it's nice to experience what it's like a little through my workouts! I work at a computer all day so this felt really good for my back and neck!
I'm dead and drenched in sweat. It was my first time doing this video and yes I struggled lots as I'm not flexible or in shape whatsoever, but that doesn't stop me from trying. I feel great after pulling through it regardless of the burning. Thanks!

still enjoying this workout almost daily. the boyfriend jumped in one day to motivate me to start my workout. he ended up finishing the entire workout and now joins me a couple of times a week, in addition to his own bodybuilding workouts. he likes the technical side and is a fan of Victoria's rhythmic speaking. we still struggle with the core adage section and are wondering if we hear it right when you mention a 'juicy plie' but we are having lots of fun and seeing good results.

Thank you so much for this video. It rocks! As a classical trained dancer I appreciate the movement and combinations SO much. One of my complaints with so called barre workouts or even ones marketed as dance is that you can tell the people doing them aren't ballerinas. The movements don't feel good as a former ballerina. You're 15-minute barre workout was the very first I completed (and it kicked my butt) and have been doing that for two weeks. On to more! Thank you for putting these out! =) I did ballet YEARS (eons, LOL!) ago and it's fab to get back to it in a different way! Thanks and keep 'em comin! ;) Cheers!

Thank you so much for this video. It rocks! As a classical trained dancer I appreciate the movement and combinations SO much. One of my complaints with so called barre workouts or even ones marketed as dance is that you can tell the people doing them aren't ballerinas. The movements don't feel good as a former ballerina. You both have such well-tuned sense of how to put together a workout. Please make 10 more!!!!!!!! Thanks again!
