Who could think that it will turn to such an astonish lovely gem after polishing. Dragon stone is a variation of Bloodstone. I didn't knew about it till I watched this video nor I picked one since I started rock hounding 6 years ago and I could swear that I saw many of them but I thought it was a regular rock 😭
@@thebroadhouse You will. believe me. Quartz family (agate, Jasper, onyx, etc... When you picked one even if for curiosity after a couple of years you will find your backyard or garage are full stuffed with them 😁
I have a bucket of water right next to me while I'm working and I rinse often. yes absolutely use water. it not only rinses debris away giving you a cleaner surface, but it also reduces the temperature and helps your tools last longer.
gorgeous dragon blood.

it's a really neat looking stone. this is the first one I've ever polished and we purchased it. I wish I could find one in the wild!

It turned out so well!! I had a question--at what rpm speed do you do your grinding and your sanding?
thank you! this dremel has 2 speeds, low and high. I do all of the work on low speed.
@@thebroadhouse Oh cool thanks! it's great work 😊
thank you so much ☺️ I'm still learning so I really appreciate the compliment
So, no water needed? I'm just learning.

Is this for those who don’t own a tumbler ?
yes! that's why I started polishing like this. really wanted to polish rocks but couldn't afford a tumbler!
