@@brigitteprovost4306 j'étais expatrié au Pérou depuis 2007 donc j'ai toujours utilisé des bois exotiques pour la chaîne qu'on ne trouve pas en France. Là je viens de rentrer en France donc je reprendrai avec des bois d'ici. Pour débuter je te recommande le tilleul qui est un des meilleurs bois de sculpture ou le peuplier qui est bien tendre. Avec l'expérience tu pourras sculpter des bois plus durs. Demande à des élagueurs ou une petite entreprise d'espace vert, normalement il jette ces bois là.

J'en doute. Dremel est une marque fiable. Peut-être pour une utilisation intensive avec des fraises à bois pour le Dremel 3000 qui est plutôt un model d'appoint pour des petits travaux. Moi j'ai le Dremel 4000 plus puissant, avec ce model je ne pense pas avoir de problème, de plus il y a la garantie. Si vous avez un doute achetez directement un Foredom, puissant et fiable mais un peu plus cher.

Yes work on hard Wood. Each tool has advantages and disadvantages, I work with both depending on the cases. The rotary tool is not simpler than knives and gouges, it is another technique and you must learn to use it.
