I Think the roccat kone xp is way better
because of software,shape,buttons,switches, and rgb
@Disgusting_Developer still good options on roccat swarm
Hello. I've just bought the Logitech G502 Lightspeed. Does the light bottom (3 bars) have to be always turned on? Mine is off. My DPI is 6,400.
Great review !
A bit disappointed that the Roccat Kone XP has nearly the same size as the 502 :(
I have a 502 and it is great BUT it is small in my hands, no palm grip possible, my fingers tips go like 1 to 2cm further than the mouse buttons; I use it in a semi palm/claw grip , leaving my ring finger semi-curled and my pinkie finger curled to 90° scratching the mouse pad ...
When will there be a gaming mouse for big hands with thin fingers ? (in my case to illustrate, when I use a dumbbell/barbell with a 28.5mm diameter I dig my finger nails in my palms' lower part)
im stuck between the basilisk v3, kone xp, and g502x. i play alot of fps like apex and cod what would be best of the 3
Guys what is better for normal click
Have you fixed the scroll wheel issues>?
My G502 JUST started doing the double click thing... it's maddening. I thought about getting another 502 (not the lightspeed, I don't care about wireless), but it'll just happen again. I've loved Roccat mice in the past (Leadr, Nyth) and I think I'm gonna pick up the Kone XP. Thanks.
Kone Xp is better because we know RGB makes you way better.
🤣🤣 much higher kdr
nothing wrong with adding a little beauty into our lives ... pretty much everything I own has some good RGB to it in terms of PC peripherals :P
the wired G502 Hero or X would have probably been a more fitting/closely competitive comparison, but I appreciate the review nonetheless! Exactly the comparison I've been making in my head for days. Now throw a Basilisk in there...
I think he already did for the Ultimate here: ruclips.net/video/RCq2RluE1vM/видео.html
Apparently, it is a huge plastic diffuser that gives the Roccat Kone XP those rgb lines, and it weighs 16 grams, but is really easy to remove by simply unscrewing it, so the Kone XP can become a lightweight mouse (~83g).
by any chance do you have a tutorial and/or video showcasing this? was thinking about trying the Kone XP and i was curious if this was easy to accomplish
nvm it looks like i found it
I recently replaced my G502 due to it not firing playing COD. New Roccat Kone XP just feels better while aiming, hard to describe. I wish it has a scroll whell lock toggle like the Logitech.
I've been looking for a replacement for my old G700 that lasted me for 7+ years for a while now. I've used the G602 (awful build quality) and G604 (2 of them), and while they are the spiritual successors, Logitech has opted for the cheapest garbage mechanical switches and thus all of them started double clicking on the left or right buttons within a year.
The button layout is perfect. Couple buttons next to left click. 4-6 side thumb buttons for handful of macros I use on a daily basis in either work or gaming, and a thumb rest so I'm not dragging along the mousepad. I may end up trying this Roccat, but if this fails too, I'll just buy soldering tools and put my own switches on the G604. Nothing else on the market is close enough to my gold standard G700 experience
i bought like 5 g700s at once. Been using them for years. Im on my last 1 and looking for the next best thing.
@@MrKennykyle1 I ended up going with an ASUS Chakram X. It’s close in design, even if the buttons are way less functional than the G700, the joystick can be another 4 buttons. The main reason I chose it though is for the hotswappable switches. So when it starts double clicking, I can repair it without needing to solder it or keep track of a dozen tiny screws and springs.
I agree. I have had the the G700 for many, many years now and it is just perfect . I am a Gamer and have used it above average but it looks like new and works flawlessly. The handling is superb and the clicking buttons are working with precision.
@@Celisar1 it’s honestly the best mouse experience I’ve ever had, and they’ll never make it again because they can’t sell you a new one every year or two. It was just too well made.
@@KyleHatesBees
You are absolutely right about that, very sad though.
I've used G502 for few years and only thing I'd change is scroll wheel sensitivity and wish side buttons weren't so easy to hit, but then again my hands are freakishly large. I've REALLY liked it overall but just bought the Roccat last week and pulled it out last night for first time. In my opinion Roccat is more comfortable (atleast for big hands) and like the side buttons a bit more, if it had the adjustable weights that G502 had then it'd be pretty dang perfect. Would recommend both, but I wish the two could reproduce and actually make the perfect mouse lol.
G700 although its discontinued
it's not that bonkers, I have the g502 now. I almost wore it out already, I wear out mice and keyboards a lot. I had a Razer Mamba, many keyboards, mostly Logitech and Saitek.
Razer plastic breaks down in a couple years, turns all sticky like my Mamba did. These peripherals should be cheaper, they are not made to last forever. I like the R.A.T mice they just need some fancy LED's then people would buy them more.
I have been using my Logitech mouse for more than 10 years and it works flawlessly. Never had a better and more durable gaming mouse in my life.
I think optical switches are far less prone to double click, so yes, better than 502LS. For Logitech’s sake, I hope their new 502x+ has optical switches too
Its impossible for opticals to double click...... thats the whole point of them being invented to begin with.
I have seen 2 of your comparison videos for the new Roccat mouse ... you spend a lot more time on it's competitors, lol I am still gonna pre-order it though!
Would be interesting to see a comparison between this logitech G502 and the Razer Basilisk. Many assume Razor have simply copied Logitech. I currently own the Basilisk but use the MX Master 2 much more as I can easily use it on my desktop and 2 different laptop with just the tap of a button underneath. I do not miss the Basilisk.
